Edge

More afraid and fearless than I have ever been precariously perched upon the cusp of a dream faith and swollen heart clenched in either hand with an eye on the tide building castles in the sand. circa 2006

Several emotions and moments caught in one scene. Like Justice weighing fearlessness against afraid, you balance everything out leaving with the last line that can last the reader, at least me, to think, eventually the tide will rise, but when? Brilliant Maureen. Thank you.

Mo...I am in such awe of your simplicity and circular similes. Your poems are such that you can contemplate the top-down, bottom-up, middle and around. You most surely add a little lime to your castles, steadfastly building them in our thoughts.

Very well put MO, more afraid and fearless on the cusp building something that most probably will wash out with the tide! Amazing, you are truly an inspiring poet. (I promise I'm not a stalker) Just digging it!!...............xoxPat

Some lovely imagery there, but the subtext is quite sad. Thank you for sharing.

Hope it doesn't rain on your sand castle, they can be so fragile.
