Interesting tanka, I see only roots of trouble ahead here. Could be wrong, but the poetry, makes one imagine a picture and that in itself, is worth the read....Stay Safe, David.

All metaphorical Harry, mostly about plain truths, being ignored, and not accepted by vulnerable people, and like you wisely said, can only lead to trouble ahead, I was using the poem as an example of being gaslighted, by manipulators, but you asked the question in your comment, exactly what I always do, but victims won’t do, they find safety in denial, stay safe cheers David
