Man-Of-Letters Requiem
The man-of numbers, not of “letters,” thrives,
Computer-calculator-Man survives
And shatters stained glass window-panes,
Obsequious of Progress and its promised gains:
Arithmetic of Armageddon reigns....

on calculator
three plus two might equal one
the downfall of haste

If you insist on one fast fix
Three plus two could become six!

Meter is like math in my mind
and I cannot go down that path
of confusion again.
I remember the pain
of multiplication and division,
I dismiss the prosody of stresses or not.
Syllable count is my specialty,
as easy as 1-2-3 A-B-C.
Where is my calculator?
Where is my dictionary?...

Do Ya Love Me?

Whadda u mean? "I think so."
Do ya feel so?

If I wanted to know what you think
I would have asked your calculator.
If I wanted to know how much to invest
I would have spoken with an economist.

But I want to know what you feel,
so I'm listening with you

Yes I do!...

Premium Member Refracted Reflection
I want to trade places,
I need a new pair of shoes;
Just for a moment ..
Can I give 'responsible ' to you?

... Flowing so nicely,
Appearing so easy ;
Let's see what happens
If its not left up to me ;

That snap of a finger,
Is a careful calculator;
Not always easy
To make it so simple;

Refracted reflection,
Mistaken vision;
So perfect a picture,
Invisible effort...

I Am At a Mathematical Disadvantage
I am at a mathematical disadvantage
to you

Because as you see i have only
have 10 fingers and toes

And can only count up to 20

Whereas you seem to have
a brain with an in built calculator

Maths is one of those subject's
you either get or you don't

And you just get it whereas i don't

Unless it adds up to less than 20
and i haven't severed one of my
fingers or toes...

Premium Member My Laptop
My laptop has replaced my television,
my home telephone and stereo system.
It has also replaced my calculator
and my many volumes of encyclopedias.
No longer do I need a dictionary.
The Internet has made obsolete my local library.
I no longer have any need for postal mail.
I now send and receive only emails.
The only service that my laptop hasn't replaced
more or less,
is UPS and Federal Express....

I'm flabby but fit
    At a bar I sit
  I play my guitar
    then squeeze into my car

  I'm dumb but I'm smart
    I buy modern art
then I load up my cart
    to sell at flea mart

  I'm happy but sad
    'cos 2 + 2 I can't add
  Thought I'd reached nadir
    Pop bought me calculator

  Taste buds still sprout ~

I Know Math Therefore I Am
You think your smart
but I’m smarter too.
You think your bright
but vision lacks within your sight.
Why say these things do I?
Because brighter smarter, I can sigh.
Dare not indignant ask me why.

Answer quick, I know
the means times square and pie
declare you to I.

These numbers smart do not make you.

Stunned and shocked to reevaluate and ask I am who?
If not a number calculator my self I find is not true....

Children Are Now a Days
Now children are crazy
They are very lazy
Always they are busy
their parents are noisy

They are like to play in computer
But their parents wanted them to be a calculator
Then they won't to be a creator
They will become a terminator

Parents are putting rush
To them, then their mind clash
They push to crush
And become afresh flesh

They are putting their whole
Body to a dryer, at all
If not they become cool
They will become fool...

Open Up
Awfully silent you remain
does this mean I'm too late
or am I just completely insane
or am I doing great
oh wait
 oh wait
my intuition is wrong right
or is this what you tell yourself so you can sleep at night
if I feel a certain way I guess that's my problem
maybe I can use a calculator to try to solve them
 when can you let go
 and just let life live
can't you see I'm almost out of a reason to give
to give you love that you need...

Happy Birthday2
Happy Birthday.

To you my Son.
Three presents have come.
The first a calculator.
To help you learn.
All your life discern.

The next a bat and ball.
To make you fit and tall.
To be a sportsman.
Win or lose.
Play the game.

A guitar is there.
Music, every where.
Sing and rejoice.
With one voice.
Life is a happy tune.

On this special day,
Participate, all you may.
Enjoy life to the full.
Never be dull.

Always Keep a Corkscrew, Lighter, and Calculator
These are the days of haunted, rented house

Of the technology of service

Of riding complete with ease

How the program shapes destiny

Still you must carry

The necessary implements

You never know what you may encounter

Down the road

You never know

Who may provide an answer

In the crazy mist of tumultuous days

A dull great man

Bereft of calculus once told me

its better to have a corkscrew

Though always,

You should use a lighter...

A Poeter
We have dfferent writers,
Can be story writer,
Or writer of letter.

Do you know poeter?
Is he a visitor?
In your head calculator?

You see his editor,
With his own moderator,
He is a creater.

Poeter is the newslater,
Like other social sector,
He is a inspector.

He is a instructor,
He is Like monitor,
Both workers and candidator.

Any news can collect,
News which is incorrect,
It can be correct.

A source of creater,
Things to better,
That is poeter....

sanctity of a cove
  breaking water
baby mine
  rocked, rolled
cajoled
           opine
of sweetness and beauty
   funny
wonder woman underwear
     she’ll not be bare
  cocooned in love
a warm blanket ‘round birthday suit
     she’ll run from aloha tides
but the sandy beach colors her hair
she writes her name on walls
penmanship perfect
she collects a rentful of coins
and starts a club
calculator of fingers, she’s
   a pink and purple diamond
