Flabby But Fit

I'm flabby but fit
    At a bar I sit
  I play my guitar
    then squeeze into my car

  I'm dumb but I'm smart
    I buy modern art
then I load up my cart
    to sell at flea mart

  I'm happy but sad
    'cos 2 + 2 I can't add
  Thought I'd reached nadir
    Pop bought me calculator

  I'm old but I'm young
    Come see my tongue
  Taste buds still sprout ~
That's why my tummy sticks out

You are flabby but fit, That's 'cos you sit Scribing away, At clever poetry all-day Using your fit brain To expel anger and pain Perhaps, you overeat, To give your body a treat And give momentary relief From the Worlds troubles and grief.

Yeah, you're right. All I do is sit, sit, sit. That's going to change RIGHT ---- tomorrow...

This Gershon at his best! Teacher of life's wisdom through humor! Truly life is ambivalent opposition. Thanks for the lesson in humbling humanity! Summer blessings of joy and laughter to you! Ogden would be proud!

Age and acceptance, akin to farts and flatulence...

Yes, we reach a point where we are old but we are still young at heart and in some ways in health then it all goes south. Thanks for sharing these with us and for dropping by my pages. Sara

Think you've just categorised the whole world. Everyone adapts to their strengths and eventually gets to where they're going at some point. In saying that, just watching a guy cutting his hedge with scissors. lol
