Words
Once blurted without caution,
It creates history enveloped in anguish
Only leaving you will bring serenity....

Hard To Keep
There was a young boy with a secret,
Who really wanted to keep it,
But when his friends came near
He realised his worst fear,
It blurted out, he just bleeped it....

Issues Skirted
Issues Skirted
All issues Trump seems to have skirted;
Had been confusing when things blurted;
He did distort;
Mission abort;
More bull stuff out of him again squirted.

A Wisdom Download
In the midst of a conversation with a spiritual mentor
I blurted out “if I knew then what I know now!”.
He quickly responded:
“You know now what you know now
…what is different?”

Sleep Talking
Slumber mumbles, grumbles, banters, blubbers and blands
Loose lips leak trailers from secret dreams, slumber shorts
Blurted out with candid shout, trembling feet and hands.
Only the hearer knows what said when sleeper talks....

Freezer Burn
Instead of the phrase, “brain freeze” at times we avow
Blurted out, “freezer burn” pointing between my brows
Wife Cathie took a fit
Convulsed quite a bit
Finally got control before the neighbours she aroused

Freudian Slips of the Tongue
many a foot in month
statement uttered
wish that they could
be taken back but
they never can be
many an unintentional
tactless remark were
thoughtlessly
abruptly bluntly
blurted out during
unchecked moments
of Freudian slips of the
tongue...

Awhile Yeah I Know This Is Wrong But Isn'T It Pretty
I love it when you hear a word you haven't heard in a while
like intravenously
and use it like
she slipped intravenously into the room
then blurted
and every eye blurted their approval
Probably now this is a challenge
i could pro bably split it apart ably
But probably she is beauty's subject...

Miss Understood
I hesitated
Sorry I brought up the subject
I choke up
But he insisted
So I blurted it out
In the end I bared it all
He listened
He said he understood
And sympathized
I didn’t buy it but
It felt good to tell him
The weight off my shoulders

Pinocchio's Proposal
Pinocchio found a girl
She put his heart in a whirl
He met her near a wishing well
His love of her he must tell
The trouble was she wasn't real
He could relate to her ordeal
She was carved, as was he
He blurted "Wood you marry me?"
But deaf and mute, blind as a bat
She answered not, and that was that...

It's the Adhd
I have to say
because that's what i do
centre of attention
never listened too
impulsive outspoken
words seep through
blurted and blew
uncontrolled but true
repulsive uncouth
mind mouth aloof
yeah i'm mentally loose
no choice no choose
my feet are my shoes
unprotected and bruised
heart's on the sleeve
you can see every beat
i speak what i see
it's the ADHD...

VOICES IN MY HEAD
It says - seize the day
Enticing me to go astray
You only live once, why not live more
As I dash off to a hasty decision
A gap - as the mind processes
For a common ground
Yet I did, against all odds
Blurted out those words, drawn are swords.
In the rear
Mocking sounds I hear
"I warned you", it sneered
With cruel disdain.
Those little voices
Leads you to bad choices....

My Wedding Day Blunder
On the first floor of a hotel in Cape Cod
A larger than average lady got on the elevator
She pressed floor number two
Immediately I blurted out “Number two???”
“You could have walked”
Her immediate response was
“What??? And lose a pound!”
My new wife first cringed
then breathed a big sigh of relief
Sometimes I blurt out stuff without thinking
VERY DANGEROUS!!!...

Out of My Coma World
Will i tend to forget
The innermost part
Of my memory
Interfere with my plans
Doubt the existence
Of this translucent layer
Will the signs of my weak
Body disappear
...
Epileptic thoughts
Anonymous crashes
Hallucinating phases
An eternal vexation
A dizzy maze
A painful exhalation
...
Will i tend to lose my sanity
When i wake up,
Will the truth be blurted
Shall i take off the mask
And take back my knife...

Child's Thanksgiving
Praying over meal
special child asks for blessings
eyeing on the soup.
Midst sign language, he blurted
“Thanks*, dear God for feeding me.”
*1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Names
the truth is in the rhyme
of sticks and stones and
things are said all the time
that bleed us 'cause we let 'em
the truth is, that the truth hurts
yet we suffer too, the lie
spoken words thoughtlessly blurted
mistold, mistaken, or misapplied
so what adage do we use to heal
pride bruised from hurtful taunt
good self-esteem and spirit reveal
a self-worth free from want
bones to pick, and stones to toss
won't allow regard to get across

Gaseous Poop Blow
Smiting spread of gaseous explosion blow
He sprayed baby cologne with fresh mint glow
As classmates guessed puzzling scent
Poop came out as toilet-sent…
Then he blurted, “Thanks* God for freedom flow!”

Telling It Like It Is
The governor of Maryland
Had excellent advice.
Perhaps if more Republicans
Agreed, it would suffice.
Annoyed at Trump’s shenanigans
And his obnoxious tweets,
He blurted a suggestion
Which deserves a few repeats.
“Stop golfing and concede!” he said,
Which echoes, to a T,
Exactly what so many feel,
Of course, including me.
That simple phrase, four little words,
“Stop golfing and concede!”
Is what should happen, for it’s what
Americans all need....
