Bittersweet

A love that lasts a summer,

A song that last forever,

A cry that will end in a short while,

And yet the morning stays in denial.

You So Sweet

So yummy
I could just
eat you up

Not funny
Had enough
Bittersweet

Such dummies
Eat too much
Tastebuds change

Now honey
Wish I had
Ate you up

Fortress of Sorrow

I am the architect of my own undoing, crafting a fortress of sorrow to guard against others' touch. It is a bittersweet dominion, the only realm I truly know.

What Is Love

An honest feeling,
engulfed in bittersweet hope.
Love You! , come what may.
A patient passionate bond,
transcends the ego away.

Glasswing

She flutters on silence,
a creature stitched from light and ache--
too fragile to stay,
too fierce to fall.
He never saw the cracks
until she flew through them.

Gathering Leaves

Gathering Leaves
On an autumn day
Bittersweet memories
Of summer,
Swept away.

Bittersweet Wine

I sip thoughts
like wine
to become
intoxicated
on you

i raise my glass
in toast
to dreams

with empty glass
and empty arms

I sip tears
like wine

Nonsense

Lazy lips &
Finger tips,
the map
I lost the map.

Smile & weep,
So bittersweet
sunrise
sunset
sunrise.

Lazy lips &
Fingertips
the lonely
raging fire.
