a little birdie told him
that his owner had sold him
the warning he sloughed
alas, he was stuffed
and nothing said consoled him
Appears a pigeon at leisure
nonchalantly walking hopping from table to table
~ looking for attention and treats

bunches of finches

see the wasp devouring
harvest in his beak
muted excepted for its blush
poised on white pumpkin
winterberry holly fruit
a treat for the midnight crow
When he was young
he survived on smidgens
from starving artists
unemployed musicians
And that is why
he's often said
He feeds the pigeons
The owl, though some think it is wise,
Finds mice far more tasty than pies.
In matters of taste
Its judgment erased,
Its fees are too high, I surmise.

The Magpie bird sings wonderfully,
Even it can dance nicely.
Once she saw a grasshopper,
Her heart bit was getting louder,
She caught that grasshopper softly.
These snowflake flurries
will never stop us
finding tasty treats

Topped with a thick gravy;
That is so delicious,
The mouth-watering smell
Triggers my appetite.
