Watch That Thought Ego Begot

poisoned pawn
temptation
look again

fears bemuse
desires spike
fearsome storm

mindful eye
tranquil heart
is immune

Teenage Human

I’m not a Teenager,
I’m Human,
Sometimes,
Parents think I’m an alien,
Strange language,
Textual misdemeanours,
Designed to confuse, bemuse,
Abhorrent behaviour,
Perpetual beautification,
It’s just a phase.
Maybe.

the direct path

senses bemuse
thoughts amuse too
our goose is cooked

negating form
each life storm ebbs
conform with love

no fears remain
feral stains cleansed
heart’s pain is healed

in body urn
bliss burns erst sins
we turn inwards

in hermit mode
we decode truth
an ode to God

The Litmus Test

The litmus test of each action Is touch of love tender Making joy our soul’s reaction As soundless bliss thunder Fall not prey, to thought ruse For ego will bemuse Will attempt to confuse No load on chest The litmus test 28-April-2022 Quietus

Elementary

The consumate sleuth Sherlock Holmes
Hardly lacking the wit chromosomes
With the faintest of clues
To bemuse and confuse
Cracked crimes in the Welsh catacombs

What Life She Lives

What face that does not sweat?
What person are you with such joy?
What life that carries no pain?

You live in the heavens and on earth,
You speak like violins and leopards.

What existence have you possessed?
What has made you so beloved?
What potion do you bemuse us with?

With Eyes Wide Open

Spring blossoms cloud my eyes
Fragrances bemuse my senses
All green life comes alive
Wildlife abounds with birth
Temps tempt my outside fervor
Opening worth to all life.
Lesson your primal strife,
Believe in all things True
Downgrade your blues
All is welcome, open your eyes
to all that's you,

My Favourite Dish

With skin as smooth as porcelain Responsive to my touch I bask in your heady scent My desire for you is such That I cannot resist you My senses you bemuse Even when you're in a crowd It's still you that I choose I long to see you naked When our foreplay has begun And savor your sweet body Banana anyone??

Silence please

God search, soul’s quest, requiring ego to die,
vaporising, that then we transcend time-space
limitations, viewing the light of our Self …
   questions cease; truth’s known.

In this dream realm, illusions bemuse, confuse
but if we choose to be still, voids then soon fill,
thus if we wish to be free, silence reveals …
   the truth of being.

Free Will

That we be as He, He immerses us in the realm of illusions, to employ free will for choosing resonation with the omnipresent love vibration. The doer, momentarily separated from the source within the dream, merely needs to recognise and choose alignment. Voluntarily.

Senses five bemuse
Our spiralling thoughts confuse
Let love be our muse

Bemused

Rat-a-tat, Rat-a tat-tat,
the mice crawl through the walls

You hear them best when lights are low,
the cat still yet to call

Rat-a-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat,
straight up and overhead

The world they know—the world you know,
conjoined but never bred

Rat-a-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat,
your solitude a ruse

What lies inside beyond plain sight
—a kinship to bemuse

Thirst For More

Thirst For More

Form new bridges, and dispel hardship elsewhere.
Costly moves break ties with a direct hit.
Enervate what's left of reminants along the way.
Keep nearer pastel roses of friendship.
Bemuse as oneself, would aspire with fresh roots.
Mend entitlement of a disconnected spirit.
Of brighter tomorrows, furnish to fit.
Stirs creativity of partly woes and endearment.

Never Needed Lsd

Never needed LSD,

seeing things that could not be,

rejecting my own ESP,

I swim the Sea of Apathy,

traverse the Desert of Ennui,

emotions under lock and key,

internalize the wild banshee.

Toddler's rolled up dungarees,

bemuse the double-amputee,

heart bestrewn with life's debris,

none of us get off scotfree.

Handcuff life's evacuees,

so tender is Humanity.

Power of Silence

Here we are and here we begin in silence, going in within Images bemuse, so we be still feeling bliss tingle on our skin Voids within form begin to fill Nectar divine does overspill We imbibe bliss by magnetism shaped gently, upon the anvil Head and heart meld in body prism Vibrant is our sensorium Our heart stirs in joyous caper cleansed of ego residuum 04-October-2021

What Was Her Name

She sits upon the wooden fence.
The day is cold.
Her fists are clenched.
And, I wonder what goes through her mind.
This girl of ten, eleven, nine?

She stares at all that passes by.
She coughs, then snorts and squint her eye.
And looks out all confused,
but with bemuse,
At this ol’ world out there.

She moves along the wooden fence.
Changing scope, her hopes and dreams;
Or, so it seems?
To me.
Or, is this where she wants to be.

Bococo bay

Bococo bay
beyond Ballay,
beyond Bar Reef,
beyond belief;
big booby bawls
brash booming calls
bedraggled beasts
bake bacon feasts
boss bozos boast
beside bad ghosts
blue butt Baboons
bemuse with tunes
bone bodies boo
(boil boogers too)
bombastic boys
bang, bang with noise
bijou boats float
bob bob in moat
blind burping bird
begs to be heard
Bococo bay
beyond Ballay,
beyond Bar Reef,
beyond belief;
beyond Bopeep
beyond my sleep.

Living Light

Soul’s light stolen, ego’s the thief It employs thought spirals to bemuse Sans in void of cessation there’s no relief Fears and desires, the standard ruse Mind-body attachment, the cause Subjects pristine soul to abuse If we put thought flow on pause Our luminous presence is revealed We stand here now erect, free from flaws Oh hermit, if we so choose, we may be healed Inner light revealed, nothing concealed 09-April-2022

Benevolence

Advancing the construct of love
    With embryonic sophistication
Will only bemuse the dove
And send her back with agitation….

Through its genial labyrinth, into the trap
    Of every distant memory;
For the olive branch will surely snap
    When clinging to its reverie.

The bark will fend off the wrath of December,
However, the fruit is not solely for you—
Lest we digress and disremember;
The leaves are there to collect the dew

To nourish itself for all to pursue.
