He wore a barf bag as a bandana.
When he rode on his horse,
his sickness grew worse,
and his intestines flared with melena....

Premium Member My Red Bandana
I once met a sweet gal from Savannah
She loved the size of my red bandana
She put it around her neck;
Twice, I was a total wreck,
She told me her name was Mrs. Suzanna.

Banana From Ghana - 4th Place
Lovely banana for gorgeous Anna
It is imported, all the way from Ghana
It tastes nothing but so sweet
It is sold in every street
It makes an emblem like a bandana

Premium Member Psychedelic Tennis Bandana
A young tennis brat from Indiana
Dressed in a psychedelic bandana
   When he put it on
   It glowed bright neon
Lit up the court from here to Montana

Knack To Fall Back Then Hit Sack
what we had was knack
to spring forward then fall back
become some sad sack

from straight path may stray
then to God can hear me pray
with please do away

catastrophe mere
daylight savings did disappear
now no longer here

will wear bandana
when we live in Canada
peal a banana...

Premium Member The Last Roundup
An old cowpoke from Cheyenne, Wyoming
Got a hankering and set out a roaming.
He got as far as Montana,
Choked on a banana,
And returned in a box the next morning.

There was no one waiting to meet him,
No family or loved ones to greet him.
He was laid in the dirt
In boots, jeans, flannel shirt,
And an old faded checkered bandana....

There once was a thief from Indiana
Who specialized in stealing bananas---
   He was lithe and thin
   And moved like the wind---
In a monkey-themed yellow bandana

He struck when it was least suspected
Stunning each victim he selected---
   Quickly in and out
They had no time to shout---
Darn monkey! I'll have you dissected!...

Premium Member The Dog Wore a Rainbow Bandana
The dog wore a rainbow bandana
A feral cat hissed at it
Birds bullied each other at the feeder
A hawk in the shadows
Rats scurried through the alleys
Of both the rich and poor
(garbage is garbage)
Children waited for the school bus
Breakfast waited for them
An old woman collected “recyclable” cans
(a homeless entrepreneur)
I wondered
“do politicians ever look out the window?...

Betrayed By Love
‘‘Twas Saturday
Everywhere was filled with haze
She found a brocade
In the name of her slave

Provoked
Embittered
She rushes to his chambers
Tying a bandana

She spoke in anger
Why? Mr Damian
Would you awaken a tiger
Under such a hazy weather

He rose in anger
Arms stretched like a pointer
Rejoice, Oh! defaulter
For luck hath saved thou!

Shocked
Reluctant
Oh No! She cried out!
Indeed you are a stranger...

The Shot
as jamal was walking
with his bandana that was blue
he had an awesome outfit
with some tight matching shoes
as the boys who thought they were gangstas drove by
he seen them in the corner of his eye
as he slowly turned they pulled out thier guns
the bulletts went straight for his chest
he fell to the ground but didnt cry
as the doctors rushed him in they removed the bulletts
as fast as can be
he then woke up to see it was all just a dream...

Light its flight carried by the wind lands 'pon my bandana

Gently the Swallowtail flies to land 'pon the Purple Flock
Drinks nectar from the honeyed bloom then touches 'pon windsock
Off in flight comes once again lands 'pon my fingers

Premium Member No Parents
I got a freeway view
Behind the curtains
Pianos sound like broken glass
I can see the darkness from the bed
They keep banging away at the door
But I won't let them in
What I am is what I am
They want philosophy

Out by the freeway we drink beer
Under the halogen lights
Watching the trucks roll by
Wishing we could be Bobby McGee
Bandana and all
But we're just kids
Chucked in too deep
No place to sleep.

No parents.
No life.
Just in life too deep....
