the ballroom dancers
pirouette like tornado
divinely waltzing

Ballroom dancing
Big bands, Hollywood glam
Chiffon decorated dance floor
Men were gentlemen, women were ladies
Decent formality
And etiquette
Stardust
His building plans as seen on zoom
Resemble an old Pharoah’s tomb
Though Epstein is dead
Jeffrey's king-sized bed
Makes a grand stage for Trump's ballroom
Casual glances at ballroom dances
an eyebrow raised, a bare shoulder appraised
Mask passions profound 'neath waves of sound
on alabaster marble hunting grounds
grand ballroom dance of
swarovski crystals —
cracks in the ceiling

Wind whispered to trees
Come dear leaves slow dance with me
In your colored tapestry
We'll strut on the ground
It will be a ballroom show
Dancing until winter snow
09/10/14
i need to
milk my
ballroom
dancing
i've been
singing
soprano
way too
long so
that
when i want
us two
sing a
long
i realize
i'm only
mastering
the technique
of
baiting
Form:
Softly plays the breeze
across stems,
petals dance in ecstasy
at its caress.
Nodding heads
bow to each other
in perfectly choreographed
unison
as nature’s ballroom
hosts
the waltz of the wildflowers.
A broom is a flight of fancy
at the witching hour
A machine gun uncased
in peril, it’s power
Waltzing Matilda
on the ballroom floor
Sweeps me away
~ with so much more
Sugar plum fairies dance in their
Heads while they dance the dances
On ballroom pillows. Princes hold tiny
Princess hands while they twirl and dip.
The music rising, rising, ever so
Softly up to the top of the chapel.
A
Pair of
Glitter shoes
Match my red dress
Outfit for old year
Dazzling in the ballroom
Until one of them was left
In five star hotel step ladder
Gave away chance to meet charming prince

My dear, have no fear,
For we shall all cheer.
Your perambulations and oscillations
Shall rouse the nations.
Their national anthems played.
The judges' scores displayed.
Remember it is only a dance,
So give it a chance!
Spiritual magic
Dancing lightly
Dream State Ballroom
Formally formal
Gliding gracefully
Waltzing and bowing
Eyes flutter
Not quite closed
Slipping into abyss
Sandman magic
Whistling softly
To not disturb dreamer
Number Four
It takes one to know one, I'm sure you'd agree
As it takes two to tango on a grand ballroom floor
I've heard it's a crowd when the digit hits three
So you really must go now, as your number is four!

I have some trembling hands;
I can scarcely type a word.
The Age of Pessimism has passed
Like the sweeping dress of a ballroom dancer
From another passed time,
So we find ourselves in the
Age of the Vague and Fearful.
how it is on the floor of dance,
the touching feeling sweet romance,
disturbing of the slumbering lance,
will he go too far this time,
perchance,
the question keeps arising...

re : "A Risque Ballroom Dance" Anne Currin
Ballroom, lit and bright
Lighted Christmas tree
Men in suits and hats
Ladies dressed in gowns
All beaming with smiles
Festive feeling
Warm hugs, greetings
Mood for dancing
Gentle touches
Band playing
Singer’s voice
Talks, laughter
Perfume
Cologne
Mint
A swift half of cider in the Bodega bar
sadly none of us could afford a car.
Dropping a shilling in the snug juke box
Haley and Elvis,then so unorthodox
Trad jazz with Donegan,Bilk or Collier
no ballroom bacchanalia
Skip,hip-hop style jive
50's music had come alive
Headlights cleave
Thin vapoured weave
Hotblack top
Cooked and stopped
Slice through air
Tendrilled hair
Steamy swirling
Ballroom whirling
Sweaty, surged, pressed
Hard-nosed crest
Closing behind
All but forgotten
Red-light gleam
Dimming, dimming
Weather’s dream
Form:
.
I think it wuz the warmth
uv her hamstring
or maybe
her tilt back
and mine nervous
latch
at hern arch
i
i don't
I remember though
the kiss
and it
An altering life
a differing hell
Where the dancefloor is burning
Where the guests are unwell
Where the dancer's eyes burn
seared to the core
But not a single sound echoes
From on the dancefloor
Far from our world
another does burn
The slow scorching dance
The ballroom nocturne
His tie knotted tight at the collar
pinches the neck, he’d love to holler
Her corset pulled tighter than a drum
she’d like to scream, but can only hum
No sacrifice too great, who worships fashion
midnight hour aches and pains ~ faces ashen
.
the dancing wheat fields
tango with red fertile soil
in great plain's ballroom

< Once came along an man named John Wayne
Winchester by his side causes more pain
Dusty trails ballroom brawls
Battlefield's muddy crawls
The duke of western inflicting gains
spell has bound the earth
goose down is flying in air
in rhythmic motion
as dancers in a ballroom
icy wind is sweeping by
