Linda, a very fancy event must have taken place. I hope it was for a good cause! We like to be happy for sure and there's nothing wrong with a celebration from time to time. Smiles, of course!!!

Once a year or so, fancy is enjoyable. Not the norm, a brief respite from daily shots of drama. LOL Thanks for visiting! :)

Your description of fete pulled me right onto the ballroom. Fete is enjoyable cascades of words of frivolity.

Hi Jo! Thanks so much for visiting. Learning is great - my day is lost unless I learn at least one new thing. :)

Dear Linda, this diminished hexaverse sparkles and every word feels like a tiny jewel in motion. Such an elegant, festive little world you’ve created here. Winter blessings, Linda, Daniel

Very nice, Linda. I like it. ~ Borat... And did you notice that starting with 'fete' your poem works equally as well?! Here's to January, gw
