We Could Dream This Night Away

“we could dream this night away”

by all means not
the last beans but

close to closing the
growing season so

appropriately for
this Friday’s

harvest
moon

Kill Two Birds With One Stone

kill two birds with one stone
why kill two birds with one stone
when one can kill them
more efficiently with a drone
or more appropriately
LOVE them through A poem

Two Timing In Wine Country

I hear the footsteps
of a heart broken…
stomping outside the grapes;
vinegar already the grade –
though the failure has yet
to be pressed...his label
appropriately distressed.

Jocks As An Anti-Theft Device

The best anti theft lock for a car
Is appropriately stained jocks as the anti-theft bar
So have these jocks on the steering wheel
For a display to ward off the thief in their steal.

Princess An Aptly Named Cat

Princess was a cat aptly and appropriately named.
She had gorgeous blue eyes not in the least tamed.
Her mother dressed her in silk gowns of royal azure blue.
She was treated like a princess, or a queen, also or too.

Are You There

are you there?

or more appropriately

am i there at all....

can your careless heart

really set you free?

the chains are broken

the bond is broken

all that remains

is the thin gold

band

worn band.

Friend

Looking at
With scare in the eyes
Waiting for
Right moments

Sitting near
Just behind
Always giving
Saving hand

Don’t be scared, come to me
I just want you to be here

I’ll never admit I need you
I’ll sit quietly
Don’t know how to say that
Appropriately

Shan’t you hesitate
I would always wait

Serenade

Certainly my music is found wanting
in comparison
to other songs that fill your life.

Yet there must be a note that lets the loving
(yes of you) exist
appropriately in the world as it is.

Constantly looking inward for the soul symphony
that offers a melody
conveying the harmony between us.

And becomes a welcome serenade

Holiday of a Lifetime

"A week long holiday in a glass paperweight" that holds a dandelion puff.
We remember childhood wishes. All day long we tiptoe 'round it being careful not to sneeze. Imagine the clouds of seeds that would fill the dome and all our pockets
We dress appropriately for dandelion watching, attending sneeze- supression classes in the evenings.

My Little Girl

Shadow's my little girl appropriately named for her ebony fur, my black pearl. A lazy cat sleeping all day, she tends to purr, she's fat. She's slow, but I love her so. Shadow's my little girl, sleeping all day, she tends to purr so. (Minichu) 4/16/2021 A Pet Minichu Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Mohan Chutani

The Queen of Hearts

The Queen of Hearts is much prettier than I thought
She has children who have been pleasantly taught
He husband worries needlessly for nigh or naught
Her advice in February is appropriately sought

The Queen of Hearts has the king’s heart in a knot.
She is open and loving, forgiving, not a snot.
The kingdom appreciates her giving spirit a lot.
The Queen of Hearts is a treasure the king has caught.

Thought Id Share My Twisted Sense of Humour

Seen on a dirty unwashed white van today

Something that which did make me LoL

Right up my street

My kind of sense of humour

Someone had wrote this classic piece of finger art on the back

And on this his van was not written

Wash me

But rather appropriately

Also comes in White

Which tickled my funny bone no end

I almost fell off my bike

Because i have a childishly sense of humour

Measuring the Worst Rape

I have the criminalizing tape
For measuring the worst rape
And appropriately dealing with the Debased Ape:
The length of time victim’s mouth had remained agape
And the rapist’s victorious shouts of YEE-EP!
The ‘I-can-choke-you-to death!’on her nape
And victim’s tightening teeth of sour grape;
Also, her dozen-times-tried-dozen-times failed escape
And the iron pants she would now over the poor thing drape.

Pagkamakabayan: Patriotism

'Tis intangible
Unlike the spears and the guns
Of the daughters and the sons
Unconquerable
But partly they symbolize
Its abstraction ere our eyes

The time has passed by
And the world has also turned
From chaos into concord
Now we say goodbye
To old discrimination
Racism and commotion

There's a new picture
That appropriately depicts
Our genuine love and respect
For our own culture --
Raising our right hand to pledge
And doing our job with badge

My Tracks Witness

My Tracks/Witness
Written: by “The Protected One”
6/28/2018

My tracks tell others the direction I’m going,
They also contain clues as to where I’ve been.
Within those tracks, lay seed I’ve been sowing,
And if my walk was Godly or tinged with sin;

At death, my body, the earth will swallow,
And some will gather to appropriately grieve.
Left will be my witness for the lost to follow,
Whether good tracks or bad I can’t retrieve.

Be the Me That Is He

keepsakes keeping me keeping
deep feelings keeping me weeping
the resulting fatigue and the obvious exhaustion keeping me sleeping
suddenly present is a strange, but appropriately necessary welcome mat
yet i do not wipe my feet on it
yet i do not knock on a door trying to satisfy a perceptive inquisitiveness
i find myself embracing the simple meaning in its most hidden of abstract depth
what i find is that all i had to do is drop the feeble act and just Be The Me That Is He

His language is spontaneously slang with slavish saliva-
Watching beneath his own tooth’s.
What more can he appropriately appreciate when he is left with the tongues of a toothless bull dog, missed up in an unfulfilled destiny.
What is left for him to know is locked up yet again in an unknown destiny.
The ocean is wrapped round in circles of stupid destinies- watered and washed in Liquids of the dead sea; the final arbiter of death.
Fooled and unfilled is what he turned into- 30 years ago.
