Serenade
Certainly my music is found wanting
in comparison
to other songs that fill your life.
Yet there must be a note that lets the loving
(yes of you) exist
appropriately in the world as it is.
Constantly looking inward for the soul symphony
that offers a melody
conveying the harmony between us.
And becomes a welcome serenade
