Your Ardour

Who adjourns me
in this backlight story
Who will call the wolf
to dance in her captivity ?
Willow wisp dispensing hollowness
espied on fields of grey

The World's a stage
disembark at your own peril
Pontificate
your ardour
anoints us well

The Felicity of Hope

First, let him into your heart
Then with his spirit he anoints you
And if you remain in him, and his word remains in you
Anything you want, he will grant
Heaven and Earth now belongs to you
For you are now his saint.
Never can you be alone
But together sit on his throne in Heaven!

Cabinet That He Appoints Horn Limerick

Everyone Educate Horn Limerick

Trump is not keen on making points;
Himself always awards and also anoints;
Nothing ever does he clearly explain;
Drives us insane when he does complain;
Can you imagine cabinet he appoints.

Can't wait to see them on Saturday Night Live;
Will laugh so much and hope we can survive.

Premium Member God Bless You

God gave you gifts that you may use them
Omnipresent He is hoping you choose Him
Do press on He will walk with you

Be meek as a child watch God move
Live your life as best you can
Even when disappointed by man
Solid rock is the word and
Stand on this not sinking sand

Yahweh is and He says I am
Oil anoints the head
Understand He has a plan

Lionesse

The seagull cries
pleading the right of birds
An Aladdin's
jibe to overcome plight
Rugged flights to fill your soul
The Madman's voice
and his lack of choice
drills the silence
His fingers stiff with sentences
hollow words I don't understand
The Winter chaff casts a slipping land
The Lantern on the hill anoints lionesses
Commuting to overcome the earth

Premium Member Twenty-Third Psalm In Senryu Form

Lord is my shepherd
He’s with me. I have no want
Always forever

I am in pastures
Verdant green with cool waters
Beside the stillness

God shall protect me
When I walk through death’s shadow
He shall be my guide

At this large table
He anoints my head with oil
My cup runs over

Goodness follows me
All of the days of my life
In my Good Lord’s house.

The Great Endeavor

Life on the grand stage,
an ancient drama.
From, "untouchable",
to holy, "Braman".

One chews the sandal,
one anoints the head.
One's venerated,
the other's just dead.

There's an old saying,
life is for learning.
But the villain says,
Books are for burning.

The show must go on,
the great endeavor.
The plot of a man,
that lives forever!

Premium Member Cave Art

Where is the boundary
between spirit and stone,
that place where myth is born
and marries meaning
to the beauty and brutality
of form. Is it only our imagining
that imbues things
with the glow of transcendence,
anoints the ordinary
to elevate atoms to the status
of the sublime;
is there only human art to warm
the cold of our lonely caves,
to redeem us from time.

Cadence of bliss emotion playing out in slow motion, anoints nodes across our form, by divine pulsations warm. Beauteous is each love hue as it does within renew bliss ignition by embrace, bestowed solely by God’s grace. Soul ascent’s immediate by bliss burns so intimate, transmuting us as the flame, which may be assigned no name. 17-September-2022

HEART DIVIDED
` ` ` ` ` `

arms hanging on like twigs,
as anger lives inside wired mind
this virus from a soul growing restless

for once, my heart's love flies divided
until holy balm anoints, pouring grace with ease

Don'T Much Care

I wish I knew where time went,
Washed clean away,
Jackal jaws ate it up
And swallowed down the day.

The very sun ignores me,
Moon cuts me dead,
Spattering of solitude
Anoints my empty head.

Don’t much care for dreams
Nor sleep’s domain,
Nothing equals nothing,
Begets more of the same.

Don’t much care for waking,
Walking into walls,
Frozen frames of judgement,
Whatever befalls, befalls.

Premium Member expressing the inexpressible

Divine Mother Herself anoints our form,
borne by magnetism ushering cool heat,
wherein all our presence does is conform
to divine bliss pulsations that repeat,
each strobe unique, bending low at God’s feet.
Are we the witness or the performer,
we know not but love index gets warmer,
as this sublime rapture begins to rise
within this urn, a step-up transformer,
beheld by presence in childlike surprise.

The Accordionist

The accordionist (haikus)
To the accordionist playing on the streets of my hometown, Agrinio, Greece

Nectar of a tune.
A bee am I, harvesting
my memories’ buds.

A bitter tune.
Pollen on the wind’s eyes,
in the shape of tears.

Tripping the sound is
into the veins of my soul.
A rosy sunset.

Silence scented sound.
Aura of angels anoints
my prayers.

Sliding the tune is
Through the fingers of my heart.
Travails of a poem.

Premium Member Your Shadow

His heart is a branch,
And I am the bird
That crept by to
Perch on the wood,
His eyes are
Heaven’s first light
And I sit by the balcony
As the light anoints me.

Even in your darkness
I will stay
For I will twinkle
Like the stars
Even if you run
With wings on your feet,
I will jump from cloud to cloud
To even be your shadow
Or a grain of sand beneath your feet
To live with you is my desire,
And to be your love my longing.

Journey of the Heart

Most delicate
tragedy
Far from ravines
Sea knows me

Air scents
Lupines of love
grow in the half light

Unfolding their
sapphire wings
Learning to fly
again

pearlescent dew
anoints this dawn
I am waiting
for the refrain

of rain
spindles weave
axis of sky
around

gentle hills
breathing
in motion

reflecting
pearlescent
painted
ocean

Premium Member Safe In Her Arms Dying Going On Home To God-

As she looked into his eyes; There's something stirring in his soul; Cries of freedom, screams of free me Lord; She sees this, as she prays for him; His mind wanders, as she anoints him; He stumbles under the power of their Father; Jesus Lord our God ; Has come to release his troubled soul; Now set free now he's really for the kingdom; Dying in her arms he's free now gone home with God;

Premium Member Rain Garden

Standing brown barefoot
In the summer springlike rain
Feeling the coolness slide down my skin
Like a bird bath for my soul
Refreshing me inside and out
Each raindrop anoints
My every joint with hazel hope
Amber buttery thoughts melt
And I plant my seeds
All those cares will be
Carried away to life
The garden I plant
In the rain will thrive
The muddy hill will
bear my fruit and
The honeysuckle wind
Will carry my truth
Essence of my being
That I will love
