The Accordionist

The accordionist (haikus)
To the accordionist playing on the streets of my hometown, Agrinio, Greece

Nectar of a tune.
A bee am I, harvesting
my memories’ buds.

A bitter tune.
Pollen on the wind’s eyes,
in the shape of tears.

Tripping the sound is
into the veins of my soul.
A rosy sunset.

Silence scented sound.
Aura of angels anoints
my prayers.

Sliding the tune is
Through the fingers of my heart.
Travails of a poem.

wow, you are SO good. There is kind of an argument among me and a few of my friends that enjoy haiku. I say it's ok to use personification and symbolism while one friend says no. It has to be totally concrete. I like both ways and really love when you use imagery in a figurative way.these are beautiful.

Let me welcome you as poet to poet, for rarely do I write or speak on things, unless they converge with greatness ... the emotions are thinking deeply and writing with the mind ... this is awesome poetry
