Lionesse

The seagull cries
pleading the right of birds
An Aladdin's
jibe to overcome plight
Rugged flights to fill your soul
The Madman's voice
and his lack of choice
drills the silence
His fingers stiff with sentences
hollow words I don't understand
The Winter chaff casts a slipping land
The Lantern on the hill anoints lionesses
Commuting to overcome the earth
