He's got no elbows got no knees
But Bobby moves- to some degree
When Bobby bobs across the sea...

I watched the sailfish spring from the sea

Had no wings, an enigma to me

Why in flight did it embark?

Pursuit by a great white shark

Its sail would soon be an amputee...

Every night I cry
myself to sleep for I
cannot see the point
in life after you die
My world shattering
all around me
My quivering heart
an amputee
It doesn't matter at all
I'm just waiting for the fall...

Premium Member Where Are You
o darling where are you
silence befalls me
like a fog thick in the night
i drift through lonely days
through arid lands
i’m an amputee a wanderer
in a maze in a haze in a daze
with you gone

Retold Journey
Insane
I turn around
an amputee

to live, for not living
fighting the inner war
speared,
lacerated,
like neanderthal in cave

my weapon
the serrated moon
cried in fluted dark

a glimpse of bare bones
the ash of a bleeding dawn
my shuttered courage
in urn
there was only one evening

Enough
A leached amputee
living with stumps of flawless
dying.

Round and round, blindfolded
moving in circle, drawn by rhyming
bells.

Perhaps you need to suffer
with the drunken race of
snipers.

I am in the silent valley of
barefoot secrets where moon waits to
die.

The poppies will buy the bullets,
a gift to unending kiss of
grief.

Tell every vulture on the tree,
there is endless arrival of
feasts.

Never Needed Lsd
Never needed LSD,

seeing things that could not be,

rejecting my own ESP,

I swim the Sea of Apathy,

traverse the Desert of Ennui,

emotions under lock and key,

internalize the wild banshee.

Toddler's rolled up dungarees,

bemuse the double-amputee,

heart bestrewn with life's debris,

none of us get off scotfree.

Handcuff life's evacuees,

so tender is Humanity.

No, Not a Trend! This Is a Waking Life!
Blinded by the flash, the mirror causes cataracts.
Shocking actions, and taken back by this flesh.
Silhouettes on the wall, grinning at the darkness.
Feels warm on the outside, chilled on the inside.
Pain is all that is real, rusty needle in the skin.
Shattered, broken bones. No limbs, amputee.
Bringing back death! Preaching to the choir.
No need for the razor. No need for this rope.
Suicide was so five minutes ago....

Premium Member The Latest Amputee
Soft brown eyes,
Silky black fur,
Large white bandage
Fear in her

Strange cold place
Cries of pain.
Confusion deep
Needle in vein.

Strong new scents
New people roam.
Warm soft towels
It’s not home.

Brain on alert
Nose sniffs hand.
Help is here
Can she stand?

Slow first walk
How will she cope.
Finding her balance
There is hope.

She stands unsteady
Improves by degree.
She will survive
The latest amputee....

Premium Member What's It Got To Do With Me
There's a bluebird in a tree
  A new cable service fee
Rioters on a looting spree
What's it got to do with me

Protesters now all take a knee
There's a viral strain of killer bee
Coral reefs are dying in the sea
What's it got to do with me

In Congress, partisans can't agree
  Teachers won't give students 'E's'
Anyone can get a degree
What's it got to do with me

Well, if from this world you flee
Your heart will be an amputee...
