Sing
a song
of
worship,
come make a
joyful
noise.
Let us
celebrate
with all our might:
God is on
His throne
and
His love
will never
fail. Shout
His
praises
loud!

Living a Lie
Moving through a hollow tunnel
Of dreams
Hope prodding us on,
Swiftly, so swiftly we gather
Love's warm illusion around us...
We push with all our might
This door to nowere
Marked
Ours!

Gails War of Worlds
a not impossible delight, if aliens come to douse our light, but we'd fight with all our might, the beast to over come.... (might even forget the local enemies) good one sweet Gail "War of Worlds" Don

Topsy Turvy, Wavy Curly,
Twists, Turns and dips,
Bumpy Road,
No road code,
We've got to get a grip.

Hold on tight,
With all our might,
While on this rocky ride,
All unite to end this fight,
Or we will end up dead....

The Swill To Believe
“A man convinced against his will
Is of the same opinion still”—
But though we will with all our might,
A sober thought still wins that fight.

A fairer rhyme I thus propose,
Our feckless follies to expose:
“A man convinced by stubborn will
Has surely swigged some sturdy swill.”...

Premium Member Our Civilization
It took mankind thousands of geniuses

And

A myriad of years our civilization to build

But

It takes only a madman and a few moments to

Bring it down!*

English War
His English Blood
Mixed with the soil
he's covered with mud
serving alongside a Royal

Standing strong with thee
A body of an English Man
where's the Royalty?
When fighting for every man!

In War we fight,
but why and what for?
We do it with all our might.
I Hate this God Damn War!

Masses love fear
                       Immensely so very wrong
                       Fear has scary claws
                       That glow in the night
Robbing us of all our might

Song
Until drippings of light cease from the days hallow hole,
A veiled moon veils spirits, love carries all our might
Through the bleakness, for what happiness may come
From the wars beating drum in the middle of the night?
Greet death with happiness in this time we should be sleeping.
Greet the morning in death's dreams, sleeping rather than weeping....

I Shall Return
In the dark belly of this creature I reside
Working my way to find the light I heard of so much
My watch glows with the productive time I belied.
Oh dear University, you have numbed my poetic touch.

Soon I will be free from these books
Aye, I shall return again PoetrySoup
To join the best "PoetrySoup" cooks
And with all our might, in poetry lane, we will troop....

Doom
Some kind of creation,
Dooming us to damnation.
Try with all our might,
To win the fight,
With these hellish beasts,
Choosing us as their feasts.
One by one we go,
As the drag us below.
"Come on Sam"
Then 'Bam'!
They try to break in
And hit me in the chin.
Chromosome twenty four
Will make me hardcore.
I try to resist,
At this she insists.
I know you,
You'll be one of the few....

A New Page to Appear
Though the pages may be crumpled, and the ink may fade,
The story is not over, it's never too late.
Though the pages are torn, and the words are unclear,
A new story can be written, a new page to appear.

The past may be broken, but the future is bright,
We can start again, with all our might.
The story is not over, there's still more to say,
Let's write a new chapter, each and every day.

Forgotten Words
Forgotten Words

Alone we enter and alone we leave,
So what is better to believe?

That in all things we did what's right,
We struggled through with all our might.

That in this realm for this short time,
We stood our ground and walked the line.

Or could it be that in our haste,
Some precious things we left to waste.

Forgetting that in all we live,
The best of all is what we give.

The Tears
The tears should no-longer be,
I use to feel bliss,endlessly.
In an instance of a wish,
To passionatley feel your kiss,
So when thou shant be there
The tears continue to fall
Until God's final call
My tears are a direct reaction
Of the pain my heart feels
When the years they steal
They're leavin,but we ask
For an appeal,
With no relief in sight,
We pray with all our might,
And beseech the Lord to Answer.
"Till then my flower."...

Jamaica Sixty-One
Take me back in time so I can remember it all,
When as a great nation we bravely stood tall.
We fought with all our might to gain independence,
And did so with pride and much resilience.
The fighting spirit of Nanny must be kept alive,
And the boldness of our heroes will help us survive.
As we rise up as a great nation,
To reminiscence about the past at sixty-one.
No obstacle will be too great or small,
That as Jamaicans we cannot overcome them all....

Dreams
DREAMS WHAT IS IT
IS IT LIKE A MATCH THAT'S BEEN LIT
WHERE DARKNESS TURNS TO LIGHT
OR LIKE A SHADOW THAT DISAPPEARS AT NIGHT
IS IT A WONDEROUS SIGHT
WHERE WE COULD DWELL AND LOSE ALL OUR MIGHT
OR IS IT JUST A MEASUREMENT OF OUR DESIRES HEIGHT
DREAMS WHAT IS IT
A BROKEN GLASS SHATTERED INTO PIECES
WHERE WE PICK A STAR AND MAKE OUR WISHES
OR AN ESCAPEMENT OF OUR YOUTHFUL MISSES
DREAMS WHAT IS IT
WHEN EVERYTHING SIEZED TO KILL
WHEN MAN WALK THE STEEP HILL...

Baby and the Firefly
One humid, dark Virginia night
Mama holding baby tight
Strolling with no light in sight
With daddy walking on her right
Suddenly to her delight
She see's a floating, flitting light
"Hello there little human sprite"
"Bugs can't talk," she says outright
"And nor can babies of your height"
says the fly who lights the night
"We can if we try with all our might"
"We've talked a lot so far despite"

"must be special, you and I"
Baby smiles and waves good bye...

A Frisson of Fear
A Frisson of Fear
by Rick Folker

I will not bow to
your idols of
hate

I will not offer prayers to
your false gods you
create

I will not kneel to
your toxic media of
lies, half-truths you
replicate

BUT ...

I will warm you
in the coldness of
a naked, lonely night

I will weep with you
when the weight of weeping
takes all our might

I will wake with you to
some distant future
and reconsecrate

Our shattered souls
In the balm of
day's first wake...

For What Is Right We Fight - The Great USA

Long ago a memory and today now a song playing triumphant through the valley where a battle of victory stands

Proud of strength we walked the plank for what we knew was right we fought a battle through tear and trial to rise with all our might

Victorious we stand in unity and raise our flag with pride a beautiful dream has come to be the promise land of light

[]

For what is right....We fight
Though a ray of God's infinite light...
