The Tears

The tears should no-longer be, I use to feel bliss, endlessly. In an instance of a wish, To passionatley feel your kiss, So when thou shant be there The tears continue to fall Until God's final call My tears are a direct reaction Of the pain my heart feels When the years they steal They're leavin, but we ask For an appeal, With no relief in sight, We pray with all our might, And beseech the Lord to Answer. "Till then my flower."

Hi Jamesiana, this is very moving. Your style reminds me of Emily Dickinson and that is a compliment. Good work, and thanks for reading "Hungry and Homeless Americans." Love and peace, Carolyn
