Adjustments made to do the best, I cannot do no more,
you don't know what nobody can, when love becomes a war.
Imagine that, just click your heels, I can't keep going on,
the hardest part is waking up, and finding you are gone....

Can
Be like
A merry
Go round with the ups
And downs that appear sometimes to
Introspect about actual existence, to make
The existential adjustments to recapitulate and dismiss for aye bootless

Equality At Voting Box
Equality At Voting Box

Must promote equality at  voting box;
Somehow the system have to outfox;
Adjustments make;
Do destroy all fake,
And learn from school of hard knocks.

Suffocation, is that the word
For this lessening strength within?
This discomfort needing fresh air
Gently stirring, encouraging
How can I pack treasures to move?
"Stuff" to go, and then, begin.

As the Ship Sails
As the ship sails
There may be rough seas
Continue to make adjustments
As you come across the whistling breeze
The journey will be tough
You may find yourself going through treacherous terrain
Rise up through the atmosphere
There is still knowledge for you to gain...

Its Out
A slave to creativity
Is better than a slave to nothing
Enhancement of skills
Is better than adjustments

Arousal of emotions
Is better than a head acne
Acceptance of weakness
Is better than fake

Development of inner strength
Is better than being a coward
Acquisition of knowledge
Is better than having power...

Ancestral Adjustments
The druid's laughing in my head
Awake enjoying new life
No fears no need of any dread
A pair of fools to entertain
Ancestral ghosts that yet remain
Reflective in my brain
As all my life I've lived to see
That they be ever proud of me
As now we turn to poetry
Responsible and free to earn
The daily bread of history...

Lockdown
Locked down tight; can't go out.
Lost in thoughts; filled with doubt.
“Things seem to be going south.
What is this all about?”
I cannot really tell.
But I know Someone well
Who the turmoil can quell,
And cause a happy sequel.

PS: I wrote this poem circa late April-early May 2020, while thinking on the monumental adjustments which humans had to make to their lives, because of Covid-19....

One Person and One Vote
‘One person, one vote’

Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:35 pm
To the editor of Brunswick Beacon:

Have been part of restless breed,
And need someone who will read,
Poem I wrote;
Time devote;
You a way to finish want to lead.

Must promote equality at voting box;
Then somehow whole system outfox;
Adjustments make;
Do destroy all fake,
And learn from school of hard knocks.

Premium Member Time Matters
To be on time,
We must toe the line.
Do not hurry, fret, or rush,
Or miss the plane, train, or bus.
No. Time does not wait,
But still, don't be late.
Give her due respect.
Be prompt and don't neglect.
Time cannot change yesterday;
But she can shape today and tomorrow.
Sometimes, we must make adjustments.
There are things we cannot prevent.
Moreover, it's also vital to be timely,
Because time is a bridge to destiny.

Wedlock
To understand this term one needs to marry,
It has lot of adjustments and expectations to carry.
It is actually a two member team,
Who work together to fulfill their each and every dream.
For it to be successful, ‘Trust is must’
Takes no time to destroy and meet the dust.
Love and respect for each other is vital,
Rest everything is immaterial.
Some call it a lifetime punishment,
But for me, ‘Marriage is wonderful’ is an understatement....

A Brand New Day
The memories that first bring the laughter, then sadness. To remember the joy and the eventual regret. Yet the lives we live here are fleeting. We are to examine our choices, then make adjustments, to find that diamond in the rough, and the sacrifices that will cleave away the excess. The investment in loss, that is the hallmark of our redemption. A chance for that boy made out of wood, to become real. To live lives of awakening, from our long sleep, to the dawn of a brand new day!...
