jesters are fun, hilarious, lovely, they make you laugh Shelly said.
This one is creepy, scary, goth-like, he makes me think of the dead.
Shelly laughed and said it was all in my mind, then there was a cough.
The spooky jester was behind us. Shelly turned, screamed and ran off.
Shelly always wore big boots when she walked pink bear
He left his mark hither, yon, over here and under there
His piles were huge, and gooey, and warm and smelly too.
She never cleaned up the mess, when they were through.
Shelly came running in with her heart on both sleeves
I am in love again! She yelled. Nothing new at Family Reunion McVees.
Shelly is always in love, she can fall in love six times a day.
She is an intense admirer too most men run swiftly away.
She catches some on the fly and hugs them way way too hard.
She has caught a TV repairman, a cowboy and a prison guard.
I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you! She yells to each one.
Being chased by our cousin Shelly is not incredibly fun.
Ms. Shelly began to write.
Scratched it out.
Began again.
The lights are on, but no one is home.
Scribble Scribble
His dendrite field is nonexistent.
Scratch. Scratch.
She kept writing and scratching
What could she write on this child’s report card?
Shelly looks stuck up but she is far from it.
Many do not know her the least little bit.
Children who visit her see a pure heart.
Her kindnesses to them she’ll gladly impart.
We who do not know her, make judgements fast.
Shelly looks uppity, however, if she knew this she would be aghast.
She has a stern look, imposing, but it does not reflect her soul.
To dine with her on Christmas Eve is a child’s ultimate goal.

A sweet homemaker named Shelly Gorde
with her laundry and cleaning was bored.
She imagined a beach
with a sea within reach.
Rode her ironing board like surfboard.

Shelly is all decked out for her first date.
Fifteen and nervous, pretty but shy.
The boy’s parents pick her up.
He is in the front seat with her dad.
She climbs in to the back with his mother.
Now Sammy has asthma, his mother says!
Sammy! She calls Sam “Sammy?” Wow!
Here is his inhaler. Do you have a purse?
She does.
“Don’t let him dance too much.”
Sammy groans from the front seat.
“Can’t he take it?” she asks his mother.
“He’s not responsible,” His mother replies, handing it to her.
Before they go inside to the dance
Dad takes photos of the three of them.
Mom insists on being in every photo.
Shelly takes out the inhaler and waves it in one of them, for fun.
Joe and Shelly’s house is on fire!
It is simply and surely ablaze!
The flames are incessantly higher.
Yet we see him sitting there, in a daze.
Mr. Hamilton runs straight in there,
We see him through the transparent window.
He runs promptly back out with burning hair,
Did you get our neighbors Shelly and Joe?
You will not believe it he tells us.
A mannequin was in Joe’s chair.
Firemen come without a fuss.
The smell of smoke permeates the air.
Tables, computers, cherished photos too
Quickly curled up and died that night
Made Joe’s almost ex a little blue,
What he might do next gave her a fright.
Revenge Joe never came back, that conniving scamp.
He had cancelled his home owners’ insurance a month ago.
Enjoyed the rest of his days playing a guitar in a hobo camp
Making his fearful wandering wife a pauper, that little ‘ho.
Clad in beauty of babbling brooks
The rustling trees, the smiling flowers
Like a skylark his words fly higher and higher
His poems smile and say YES
To the spring sky, freedom and tenderness
hey fairly girl
why you looking so sad
i wish ,what you had, i had
the friends. the art. the life
why are you so sad
i looked at you like you were on a pedistal
then i found out that you were troubled
i tried to help
when u were well and u were bruised and broked
but i tried through it all
till u lost youre way
there was nothing left to say
except . im sorry
from the bottom of my heart
i wish i had saved you
my fairy cousin , my sister , my friend
i will allways love you till i see you again
i know youre here
i know you hear
my special friend
shell youre missed to no end
If I could live under the sea
I would marry my sweet mermaid Shelly
Oh how happy the two of us would be
Swimming forever in the deep blue up to the brimme
The fish would wish they could be us
For we could survive in sea to shore
The world be our oyster overstuff
With pearls her I adore
Sunken treasures of the past
We could explore but ignore
Our love enough for us to last
For free is the sea forever more
Choral gardens rich in life
Colors glow from sunbeams light
Ride the waves no worries or strife
Moonbeams spiral into our night
With a roof of water over our heads
Safe from storms let them blow
Huddle and cuddle in the octopus's bed
Asleep to dreams that flow
The shark's all bite, the whale has tales
The otters play, the crabs are crabby
The dolphins laugh, the old squid smells
The penguins dance, the walrus is flabby
The seals bark, the eels glow
The shrimps are shrimps, the seagull steals
The lobster diets, the seahorse was rode
And the porpoises were all pale
Just a day benaeth a wave
For my Sweet Shelly and me
Happy to be married to a meramid
With baby mermaid soon to be
A bright Texas sun
Beat down upon this day
In the middle few should know
A teenage soul should stray
Stolen by a thief
With no apparent motivation
This man offered
No explanation
A mighty blast filled the air
She had wronged none
All of a sudden
Her life was undone
Now robbed of her life
She shall carry on
With the pull of a trigger
She was forever gone
Yet carry on she shall
Carry on Shelly Cole
For your passing was
Out of your control
Happy you shall be
In the heavens above
Wings you shall have
Like that of a dove
Your beauty lives on
Long past your breath
It was near devastating
When informed of your death
Shelly, O Shelly
What has been done?
For your eyes where brighter
Than that of the sun
Though your body lies motionless
On that of the floor
Your soul shall undoubtedly
Live evermore
Carry on Shelly
Carry on
