Shelly Looks Uppity But She Is Far From It

Shelly looks stuck up but she is far from it.
Many do not know her the least little bit.
Children who visit her see a pure heart.
Her kindnesses to them she’ll gladly impart.

We who do not know her, make judgements fast.
Shelly looks uppity, however, if she knew this she would be aghast.
She has a stern look, imposing, but it does not reflect her soul.
To dine with her on Christmas Eve is a child’s ultimate goal.

Looks do not often tell. I’ve gotten many a scowl to turn upside down and oh what a beautiful countenance most have. Some resist by stiff-neck, or personality which is ok too…

So many people have no idea how stand-offish their look is; they would be shocked to know.

My, how children look up to a woman like that. I've known many good-hearted teachers who maintained an air.
