Premium Member Shadowy Tales

Shadows are unforgiving,
stark in relief,
dark in infill.
These stiff hollow silhouettes
of gutted entrails
follow us around,
lacking the detachment
to avoid being brutally honest
about our outline shape and
where we've been and why.
We avoid looking back at
the shadowy dark-side behind us
that is plain as day
to those who watch our
tell-tale umbras
that trail behind
as tails
as wagging truth sayers,
dark, stark, stiff
unforgiving naked,
rear-view selfee cut-outs.

Shadowy Corners of Its Facade

In every effigy there is infamy...
I conceive every domain.
That is my immortal doctrine...
I see into the shadowy corners of its facade...
Feel its faded power and ruined
  opulence?  The cracks remain...
I construct the lines of fate...
   That is only by decree.
    A washed in sweet opium
     I study life's delicate filigree.
I clutch for the golden ring.
      The object of a lifetime desire;
      To find nothing...
But ashes and twisted bared wire.
All the fire, passion n bleak rain.
      Bleeds down
      Down...
     Into an endless drain.
    Deep in the black ground...
  That is my eternal pain.

Premium Member The Shadowy Figure

A shadowy figure has visited thrice.
It's neither demonic, human nor a creature.
It has no form, no voice, no face
Nor has it any feature!

When it arrives tween sleep and awake
Where dreams and reality merge,
There's full body paralysis but a very active mind
A bolt of fright through me does surge!

Each time, it puts pressure on my chest
But stops suddenly pre suffocation.
Though it doesn't exist, its presence feels real.
Is it only my imagination?

This silent shadow turns the room cold.
It switches off inner fight or flight.
But the freeze mode sets right in
As this happened always in the dead of night.

I'm curious to know why it appears
During times of stress. What's its identity?
Does it know that neurologists call it
An aspect of Narcolepsy?

Premium Member Shadowy Figures

Shadowy figures reflected in the panes
Framed with aloe and bougainvilleas,
Unaware, they move furtively like spirits
Dancing in another dimension of space,
They whisper of happier times long ago
When they were young and I was not here.

Shadowy strips of pretty sunlight clear
Makes me feel almost well loved today
Brought forth rather sweetly, holding me dear
Proves my ancestral loved ones are near

Premium Member Shadowy Girlfriend--Jq

Shadowy GIRLFRIEND--

See the flirting of those eyes;
He's angry at the emprise;
Finds hard to see his girlfriend;
Shadowed by weak bitter end;

She is but an active mouth,
As she sits in the deep south;
The dove likes to chase a pen,
One that's in the winter wren;

Premium Member Shadowy Places

I enter these deep, shadowy places
However, I don’t really have a choice
Reliving flashbacks, their evil faces
Silencing me, abuse, taking my voice

Torture was their way of keeping control
They would resort to inflicting such pain
These type of memories will always roll
By facing these shadows, I always gain

With no more running, I face what is true
So now I can speak and today I can heal
I take these shadows and make something new
Empower myself, walk through what I feel

This is my way to be all I can be
Walk through the shadows, cast away evil
Open doors within so that I can see
All the truth, gently turned into beauty

So, you blew your misery up.
Slaughtered a bouquet of innocents.
Because you were losing at life
couldn't hack it in the real world.
Allergic to peace and understanding.
Broke out in hives when you slithered into the light.
Your a shadowy stench of a "man".
Thought you were going to heaven?
To be with a flock of virgins

I don't proclaim to be a saint and know everything.
but I don't think it goes down that way.

Premium Member Little Shadowy

Dear little shadowy

Show me a way
To fix some enemies of mine
I'd like to make them suffer
Like they did me

I'll open a draw
which you may find interesting
but don't come back to me
and say it was a misunderstanding
once done it can't be undone
So think about it

Shadowy God

Death valley lies in heart
Lifeless rivers claims urbanity, everywhere
Tired clouds, touch less, in the far
A sky touchy way meets another,
Peahens' beds sound shocked written slogan!

Dark words take a secret glance
Shakuny's eyes make my life a strange goal
I, omnipresent god of shadow go nowhere
Think my shadowy face dearest one.

Shadowy Sensuality

Shadowy Sensuality

I walked in a dream on a silken cloud
Under moonlight's silver shadowy leafy shroud
Satiny leaves sunk under my feet in hushed sensuality
Slippery slopes beneath the canopy of forest's purity

The grove along the rippled watersheds
Fanned the shallow waters with its shadows overhead
The breeze whispered the most enchanting songs
Through scalloping branches over the waters gushing along

I stepped daintily over the mossy grounds
The rain kissed waving boughs held me spell bound
Heard a softened rustle to see a shadowy cape
Wet lips brushed my tresses to kiss the nape

Shadowy Scavengers - Contest

Shadowy Scavengers

The darkest hour of the hallowed night
Wake up the blood dried shadows with
Unfulfilled desires rotting in purgatory
Wriggle out of their graves to earth flying
To their unwanted descendants' homes
To fill them with fearful reminders that
Their ancestors are connected through blood ties
Beware of the denizens of the night!

Crosses and candles at the door
Scare these lifeless invisible parchments away
Thresholds laden with goodies satiate these
One night scavengers howling with the wind
Gifting and treating the tiny devilish vampires
Purge them of their undoings and guilt ridden lives
All the empty hungry souls are tricked
To the golden ladder of salvation to heaven
