Shackle Poems

Premium MemberHomogenize

The grand plan is to homogenize nations
strip them of their faces
replace them with a plastic mask
force feed them into a blender
dismantle the middle class
make the masses dependent
feed them their own blood
turn bones into crumbs
take away their means to defend
put shackle to God -unleash Satan.
Godless governments
are putting lipstick to pig
telling us it is a princess
forcing us to make love to mire.
Oil and water will never mix.
neither does love and greed.
Darkness and light will meet
on the battle plain horizon...
This deep musk is but a brief illusion.
God will never die.
The narrowminded lit the fuse
we the people are on the eve of
reigniting
life
liberty
in the pursuit of
being.

Premium MemberKind Words

Imagine!
" Kind Words", revealed as piercing bands
of sunlight gently melting mist of morning dew.
Shredded strands of light appear blazing
through leaves blanketing forest deep.

Restrain bitter words that deny
the flourishing seed to yield its return.
Observe, we are better
when "Kind Words" are spoken.

When, from a painful sobering voice,
the soul beckons for repose.
No respect returned to break the moment in.
for where is the glory in it?

"Kind Words" cleanse!
Glory won in a word of kindness spoken.

Life, though as short as a breath,
needs no hand to uproot or wrest.
To labor upon ones crowded faults,
proves a shackle to blissful results.

"Kind Words", a gift for thee!

The Blood-Stained Glass Heart

She scrubs the floors with hands that bleed,
her heart, a brittle thing beneath her chest—
a reflection of the shattered glass
she once danced on,
believing love was a crown
meant to fit anyone.

The prince's ring,
so smooth,
is a shackle,
and his kiss—
not a promise,
but a contract with the devil’s own whisper.

Her stepsisters wear their cruelty
like fine silk,
while her smile fades
into the dust of her cinders.

The carriage,
once golden,
is a cage
that rattles down the path
toward a ball
that was never hers to begin with.

The clock does not strike midnight.
It grinds her bones to powder,
and she is left standing
in the ruins of her own dreams,
the glass slipper cutting into her flesh
as if it always knew
it was meant to break her.

Premium MemberUNLOCKING THE *****

The new becomes old, and no one notice
When the old was new, there was a motive
To plan ahead and take liberation back
When negros were mistreated and under attack

Before then, we were royalty with a mighty purpose
Before being enslaved by the ones who convinced us, we were worthless
We were transformed from riches, and they took our land away
Only to be brought to America on ships and made slaves.

Now the time has come to set things astray
It's time to revelate our mind from a sleepless state
No more being controlled and put in shackle
My black race let's take over and show them we matter.

We are going to have the courage to fight every demon
With God on our side, they're going to pay for every beating
So let's not sit back and be afraid anymore
Heaven is unlocked, and "My God" is walking thru the door.

To save his people his most precious Jewels
With our spirit being reborn into a diamond of renewal
The time has come, so just say goodbye
Because this Caucasian race will fall on its side.

A Love That Hurts

She wears her silence like a veil
Stitched with echoes of nights unseen,
Where shadows whisper fractured tales,
Of love that turned to something mean,
A heart once full, now torn between.
His voice, a storm that splits the sky,
His hands, a thunderclap of pain
Apologies like fleeting sighs
Washed away yet fall again
A cycle spun in endless chain.
Behind closed doors, the world is blind,
To screams that never reach the light,
She paints her face, she speaks in kind
Hides the bruises out of sight,
Convinced that love should feel this tight
But love should never be a cage
Nor hands a shackle to endure
No kiss should ever taste of rage
Nor words be blades that cut impure
Love is not a wound to cure
One day the silence cracks apart
She finds her voice, she dares to breathe,
Steps beyond the past so dark
Where fists no longer weave her grief,
Where love is kind and love is free

Premium MemberSaying Grackle

There are some birds I'd like to talk about today -
a cardinal, hummingbird, robin, and blue jay;
but, put me on a chain, put me in a shackle,
you can never spoil my fun. I'm saying "grackle".

Premium MemberAlmost Time

If you say my mind is dark, then wait until the light goes out
I write about the earth's pain and suffering that's coming about

The happiness that we once had was an afterthought
I'm just a woke person with a shining light walking thru the dark

The nature that I live has taught me so much
The brightness in my mind is the rainbow of touch

It secretes the knowledge to the above-mentioned
Were the mental tries to escape like a physical detention

Now, it's time to elevate to the most highest degree
Stop letting the world see you blind when you know you can see

Let's leave the shackle in the closet and open up the door
Release the energy of negativity and be much more

Let the world taste your desire and fearless ways
So we can rejoice and live out our last days.

A Valentine In London

My Valentine has a ticket to ride;
So London town beware!
New wings will carry her up north;
A pass to Leicester Square.
Let Big Ben toll and chime aloud;
St James's Park prepare;
The hustle of the Covent calls;
For her to stop and glare.
Our Festival will a singing show;
But not a stage needs she;
For Shakespeare wets her rosy lips;
Or a lovely cup of tea.
A winking Thames will guide her way,
Along a South Bank charming;
For knowing swans will nod and sway;
To see again their darling.
And she indeed is friend in kind;
To changing guards and steads;
A wine bar to intrigue her sense;
But a wooden hut to feast!
She rides the tube - this surfing queen;
No palace holds her bound;
No chains to shackle regal wrists;
In no tower is she found.
Free as the wind, sweet honey bee;
She feeds my love in rations;
My desire for her will never fade;
But London is her passion!

Etched in Stone

If you thrust a dagger into my heart
Lay me on a bed of thorns
Give me a chalice of hemlock
Thrash me with a flail
Haul me over the smoldering coals
Hang me over a precipice by
the skin of my teeth,
Shackle me, impale me, crucify me…
But I will only smile,
Why?
Because I am in Love!

It was so written on the
sheaves of the stars
on the wings of the wind
on the waves of the seas
on the cool mist of the dawn
on every breath and every smile
on flowers, leaves and grains of sand,
like etched into the stone…
	    I Love You.

A Throne of Despair

A Throne of Despair

In a room where whispers coil and fade,
A figure lingers, their story unmade.
Loneliness drips from the ceiling’s decay,
Each drop a memory slipping away.

The chair by the window, a throne of despair,
Holds echoes of laughter that once lingered there.
Faded photos cling like ghosts to the wall,
Remnants of moments that answered love’s call.

Outside, the world spins, vibrant, alive,
Inside, the silence struggles to thrive.
Winds howl like wounds that endlessly bleed,
A garden of dreams consumed by its greed.

Each tick of the clock, a shackle, a chain,
Stretching time with unbearable pain.
Buried beneath sorrow and cruel twist of fate,
Lies a broken promise, a love turned to hate.

Through cracked windows, the night softly weeps,
For hearts that are lost in unfathomable deeps.
No guiding stars, no refuge in sight,
Only shadows consume the remnants of light.

Premium MemberUnderstanding Love

No one can wholly understand love
Love is never what one thinks it is
Love often comes as a snippy surprise
As a starry shock stemming from above.

Love is a hieroglyphic puzzle
Love has the power to muzzle
Shackle, overpower, direct and destroy
Love can be a very volatile or hazardous toy.

As soon as one is somewhat comfortable
Love shows her ugly fangs on the table
Love is not always a beautiful spring.

Love behave like a cunning chameleon
Love behaves like an uncommon phenomenon
No one can completely comprehend this thing.

A New Day - Wildflowers

Roads long squandered,
Routes trained to memory.
a crack in the long unyielding concrete
unremarkable.

Then, a wildflower
A peculiar pink.
Leather, nostalgia.
Cinnamon, mellow.

Stop dead in my tracks,
Wistful, yearn.
Many a while did I dream of creation
After all, what does it take?
Soil, water, an undefeated soul.

Many a while did I long for something that called me God.
Many a while did I pick up a pen,
Dropped it back down.
Afraid of laughter no one laughed,
Fearing fingers yet unpointed.

What does it mean to begin?
What does it take to begin?
Paper, ink, a sliver of hope.
Do I have what it takes to begin?

Now every new page,
A breath of awakening
In a book awaiting it's soul.
A step, far from empty pages.

Albeit one, this stride
holds strength of lifetimes far spent.
And as I sit, winds of change,
Of beginning, blowing through my hair finally let down.

A start.
Breaking apart the shackle that is anticipation.
Everything goes, and so will this fear.
And as my soul, my blood, my sweat, my tears, I wring into form,
Perhaps,
I have what it takes to begin.

The stars weep light

In the quiet of the night, silence echoes dear,
Your absence like a shadow, ever drawing near.
The stars weep light, tears of ancient lore,
For the one I once held, I hold no more.

Your voice, a whisper now, fading in the wind,
Memories a shackle, of dreams that start to bind.
In the garden of my heart, petals withered cold,
I wander through the thorns, stories left untold.

Seasons paint the world in hues of gray and blue,
Lost within the hours, where time forgets you.
In every clock’s soft tick, in every dawn's gray hue,
I chase the fallen moments, the fragments of us two.

Oceans rage within me, waves of sorrow's crest,
Your touch, a ghostly warmth, a haunting in my chest.
What cruel fate has parted paths, that once would intertwine,
Leaving me a hollow tree, where love no longer climbs.

Songs of yesterday, whispers on the breeze,
Echo in the canyon, bringing me to my knees.
And though I walk this road, alone and feeling small,
I carry you within me, my sweetest love, my all.

Premium MemberTurning the Hourglass

Time limits boggle my mind
with stressful thoughts of "hurry up,"
and "don't dawdle."
It makes me anxiously annoyed
to be pressured into completing
whatever the task.

I want to keep turning the hourglass
to keep the sands from running out,
or shackle the tongue of a clock's pendulum
before its gong rings, "Too late,
you've failed to achieve your goal!"

If truth be told,
I prefer not to measure time at all.
The urgency of ticking hands
makes me clench my jaws and fists.
I become impatient when it pushes
and shoves me along, relentlessly.

Times up and I'm done.
