SEVEN SEAS

A man sails the seven seas
Then one day he shouted out, please
When a mermaid siren him
For him it looked grim
Until she was caught by a group of Chinese

The sapphire seas
show in seamless
turquoise spread
the perfect poise
of unique aquatic
equanimity of enormity
harmoniously sparkling
lilting luster
of cerulean sky
reflection echo
resonates with
cobalt whisper
of waltzing waves.

Platinum periphery
embroidering embellished
lustrous lattice
of drifting cloud
corrugated clumps
suffused with
silver sunrays
of cupid’s arrow
adoringly enticing
entrance overtly
the ancient mariner
to embark upon
a new voyage
of attrite atonement
for he has left
in supercilious stupor
the seventh sea
unsailed.

He drifts desolate
with disquiet trepidation
in quandary qualm
on the clarion call
of swaying uncertainty
lurking latent
in languor swells
of steamy sea
the archaic essence
of his forlorn life
anchored enamored
on senile shore
the quaint ship
sails sanguine
from antique quay
of safe sanctuary
on southern wind
blowing beguiled
with perfumed promise
the serene soul
serenades content
to the tranquil tune
of the shredded sail
silently promising
to take him
to his new home
harbored beyond
the seven seas.

Sometime the sea makes you feel at ease
Then there are other times, sea please
The seasick feeling
The body that becomes unwilling
Over the waves
Now behave
Look below
A boat moving slow
Sea of wonder
A Lighthouse and shore yonder
Some say the seas are a friend
The question would be when?
Sea tail
Maybe the time I was drinking Ale
Breezes just confusing the senses
Ships seeing ships
Ever now and then a dip
A captain saying, “Sea legs tip”
Nonetheless, seas into miles of ocean
Emotions forming motion
Seas surrounded
Cruising over mighty waves
Maneuvering with the wind
Seas that always can
Sea guidelines when
Cruising without sinking
Chicken little thinking

Premium Member We Sailed the Seven Seas

We sailed the seven seas with vinegar in our brains
Singing ingrained sea chanties, with repeating refrains
We did not eat oatmeal, the rats ate all of our grains
We were proud persnickety pirates, there were no kinds of chains

Our parents tried to coax us out of the sea and the rains
But we were determined to make our way past the Great Plains.
We sailed upstream, singing our loud repeating refrains
Did not stop until we got to a whirlpool that changed our lanes.

What are you hoping to accomplish? Can we send you some planes?
Called out our grandparents, who had difficulty with their restrains.
Sorry, we yelled back, singing with gusto our repeating refrains.
But we are sailing the seven seas with vinegar in our brains.

Seven Seas

I dreamt of north and south Pacific
Of the north and south atlantic
Of the Indian and the Arctic
And the vastness of Antarctic

But it was in the Pacific
That my heart was pacified
For your beauty is terrific
Your charm struck my pride

The Seven Seas Sailed

The seven seas sailed,
the high mountains have been climbed...
the softest lips kissed!

Premium Member Seven Seas Sailed

Childhood dreams on paper boats
swam in the wake of silk swans.
Torrent of time on life stream
carried them to sunset sea.
With twilight wind on thrashed sail,
I glide beyond seven seas,
where bay of bliss anchors soul.

The Seven Seas

Beware the boats of paper
That sail on gentle breezes,
And never leave the harbor.
Life is lived on open seas
That are prone to hurricanes.
Your boat must sail through the storm
And continue down the main.

All Seven Seas

I've spent years
and several centuries
swimming and paddling
across, beyond and beneath
the seven seas, lagoons and crystal oceans
on all portions of the earth
searching for you
waiting for you
and trying to feel your presence
but now
we have finally
found each other
we shall promise
never to leave each other
stranded again
for several more centuries to come

Premium Member To Sail Seven Seas

The first water bed Sammy sees

he says he is going to seize.

He believes on this bed,

when he lays down his head,

in dreams he will sail seven seas!

Life's Seven Seas

The sails are raised upon the ship "Unknown,"
to travel slowly on life's seven seas.
I look upon such things as I am shown,
in hopes to solve life's little mysteries.

I now am sailing with a gentle breeze-
to learn of what I can until I'm grown;
so I can handle life with greater ease.
The sails are raised upon the ship Unknown."

There's waves I find in life that have been blown,
upon my ship by other ones decrees.
My skills at sailing these rough waves have grown-
to travel slowly on life's seven seas.

The shores I look upon are laced with trees,
their colors looking like they have been sewn
by angels with embroidery degrees.
I look upon such things that I am shown.

The work I do sometimes I will bemoan,
but with it I have gained such victories!
I seek a light that never has been shown,
in hopes to solve life's little mysteries.

Sometimes these oceans seem like they will freeze,
still other nights it seems I sail alone.
It's then I get down on my hands and knees,
To pray to God because He's on the throne.
The sails are raised.
