AT FOURTEEN

Life was so hard at fourteen,
I need to work hard while studying,
My dream was to be successful ,
So go on strived to reach for the stars,
Be the one, fly high, you can do it,
Have faith in God, He was there for you,
Poverty is not a hindrance girl.

IN THE GEOMETRY OF IT ALL

  Indeed, there’s never ever an
   Easy walk towards freedom.
    Thus, we must ever seek,
      With divine hope and
       Faith, the right angle,
       Triangle, and circle
       Of oneness, in our
        Maze journey in
        The hexagon of
         This lived life
          Of the math
           Of this old
              World:-

Premium Member WATERED LIFE

Life's no banked river...
Life's roving waves frothing shores...
Life's oceanic...

Premium Member Considering my What Ifs

I was going to become a teacher
I thought it was my calling

I was young and thought it best
to go to university straight out of high school
before I'd go to teachers' college

Well... things did not go as planned
for better or for worse, who knows
I got sidetracked ended up taking a job
education got shelved for longer than expected

So I worked and launched a modest career
No guidance maybe no brains ~ who knows
But in the end I realized the truth ~
if you don't choose, life chooses for you

Go for your dreams or risk living with regrets

Premium Member OF HEARING AND LISTENING: A Senryu Quartet

In human nature,
hearing and listening are
not the same thing:-

You can hear said words
but can not respond to them,
if not listening:-

Ancestrally said,
you not listening is bad;
not caring, is worse:-

Being a wise one,
do not just hear what is said;
understand also:-

Premium Member BECOMING THE YOU TO BE

Growth is not instant,
Becoming is a process;
Ripening takes time.
Instantly, give God the praise
And thanksgiving, for the time:-

Premium Member PREGNANT SPRING

Nature's womb is healed,
and birthing seeds have been sown;
renewed life coming:-

Premium Member SPRING ANEW

Stop hating yourself;
prune away those evil thoughts:

Premium Member Stages of Life

Embryonic Stage

So comfy and warm
Not feeling a hint of harm
Oh, what’s happening

Birth

Good grief, it’s so cold
O’er and o’er again was told
“Beautiful baby”

Child Age

Play sports, make good grades
Life’s full of adventure days
Hates vegetables

Teen Years

It’s an awkward age
Parents struggle through this stage
Just stay sane through it

Young Adult Years

Leaving home first time
Into unknown, a steep climb
Where will it all end

Middle Adult Years

Work and family
Agony and ecstasy
Stalwart day by day

Older Adult Years

Body , soul, and mind
Seeking peace of special kind
Beyond ever known

Premium Member IN LIFE'S BALL GAME

Don't be a football,
Thrown and kicked down the field
Like rocks of nature;
Rather, be a bouncing ball
Sowing and reaping life's goals

Footprints

I look back at my footprints,
Which showed my progression.
A better one indeed,
Learning how a life proceeds.

Know that yesterday isn't tomorrow.
The past chapter is closed,
A new one might start soon.
Put on a smile and go.

True colours comes out
When a problem arises.
A sudden courage appeared to solve
Those one by one, it brought peace.

Heart untangled from the ties
Which were knotted very tightly.
Unraveled one after another,
Till the heart was set free.

Now, a happier era has just begun.
Where people I trust are around me,
Jovial and sprightly,
Which makes me persist freely.

Unready

now that things will end
I realise I’m not ready
to do anything

Sad Boys In Class

We sat in class,
Doing nothing new,
As time passed,
Teacher is late! Finish the work due!

Waited there, waited for long,
And someone started tapping his desk,
We all started singing a song,
Our music, it was the best!

Oh wait, soon 15 minutes will pass,
And as the teacher is not here,
Boys BY LAW we can leave this class!
Boys stand up from your chairs!

Then we clapped, we clapped in joy!
And the teacher cam in the last second, so sad, so sad boys!
