rub my butt with spices
baste my breasts with olive oil
slather my wings and things with sauce
butter my thighs, slow broil

If pulpy green words
had red meat nutritional value,

As feelings have openly positive
and closed negative 
nurturing peace normals
and turmoil boiling abdominal
abominable abnormals,
robust health feeding
and sick bad watering,

What would you choose
to feed your co-passion learning kids,
your cornucopia complex spouse,
your significantly nonOthered
this ego-cooking day?

If fertilizing actions 
were rooted in compassion
as light
fades into night

Dreams for healing yourself,
for saving this

Autumn Sentience

As
Autumn
approaches,
patchwork palettes,
sweet sienna sap, and savory seeds
augment this flavorful fragrant season,
softly cooing 
to the winds
“It’s time,

Vegetarian Vegetable Soup

Chopped celery carrots and
Peas; corn, green beans, too,
Add garlic and herbs, spinach
So nice; salt and some
Pepper, veggie stock
Some rice, cook
Wow!

How To Bake a Savory Pie

Because I want the crust to gently flake,
I cut in frozen butter to make crumbs.
I'll wash the shell with egg before I bake;
you'll note how delicate the crust becomes.

I fill the egg-washed shell with chunks of meat,
potatoes, carrots, onions and some peas.
Of course no proper sav'ry pie's complete
without some Worcestershire and grated cheese.
