Notes About The Poem

Ones journey through life from birth to the end of life when one reaches the edge, And cross over to a new beginning on a time table set by God.

The Edge

Getting to the edge
untimely bring no victory.
But!
In the end,
the edge is where one want to be.
Not to go over,
just close enough,
to peek and see.
One’s next keys to their destiny,
into new seasons of mystery,
at a pace never fast nor slow.
Just align with nature majestic flow.
Do not want to be late or too soon.
It does not matter when reached,
midnight, morning, or noon.
Those all worthy will not descend.
Will cross over on a walking ledge.
onto where a new birth begins
in a dimension savory from sin
welcoming to all those,
whom reached the edge!

James, I recently had a vivid dream where I was walking effortlessly along a slender wall top, following a lady from church who had already passed away. You were right—I did not descend. I walked the straight and narrow. Love it!
