Premium MemberWithout Words Which May Displease

How then shall I show love for our sisterhood?
Our mother’s baby birthed on this joyous day
A festive time with wishes ‘happy’ and good
No balloon filled room, cake, gifts on display
Belief systems stand first it’s well understood
So, in all due respect and come what may
Just poetry for YOU showing how I care
Without words which may displease God, I share

Without salutary words which may offend
In toughest of times with me you’ve always been
Soulful eyes I’d run to, my hurt you’d suspend
One hundred, forty four thousand for heaven
My selfless sister shall be one in the end
Devotion has earned a palatial inn
Forever dwelling on a pure restored earth
A poem for you this day mother gave birth

Premium MemberA Good Feeling Inside

I’m a firm believer in setting goals in life,
Then striving for attainment every day
Avoiding undue petulance and strife,
Balancing time between work and play.
Looking to a future of accomplishment
Building on foundations you carefully laid,
Not always seeking acknowledgment
For everything you do you’ll not be paid.
Often, a good feeling inside is sufficient
No tangible reward will be necessary,
If in your heart, you’ve done a good deed
Within yourself you’ll feel salutary, [and]
Think about it, that’s all you really need.

Premium MemberWisdom From Trees

Nestling in my realm, as you host a daydream,
Reveling in breeze of my splendor evergreen,
I welcome you to my domain of rhythmic trills
Where roam the blue jays, robins, and crossbills
Feeding on berries, frolicking with hatchlings,
Singing gaily, serenading benevolent sanctuary
Amid bears’ huff, growl, and foxes’ feral-howl
Sheltered amicably from dry heat and rainfall;

Where trees reduce pollution, boost air quality,
Emit oxygen you breathe, by photosynthesis,
Bear flowers, fruits, nurturing your well-being
Temper climate cheerily, swaying with winds,
Hold soil in place, reducing runoff to streams
Protecting elixir of life in rivers and tributaries;

While you find balance in sanctity and peace,
Enlightened by whispers rustling in harmony,
That warn of deforestation ruining ecosystem,
And callousness that torches wildlife and trees;

Yet, I rise from ashes sprouting earth’s tranquility
For I am the forest of goodwill and sublimity,
Adorning every season, standing for you firmly,
Hosting you as you rejoice in salutary daydream.

Relax into your thoughts and take a seat across from peace
let the ocean of your imagination take you to the oasis of love
mellow yourself into the dilly dally motions of meditation
Loosen your muscles and undo all your internal confusions;
Ease into the ocean of hush and restfulness, be one with God
Follow the quiet silence that comes from the seaside solitude
and bathe in the salutary waters of inner communion.
Ambient sounds of waterfalls cascading from your heart
filling you with wholesome thoughts, both cherished and adored
Admire the resilience that comes from knowing,
Treasure those quiet moments that release you into your deep
Relax into your thoughts and take a seat across from peace
relax your thoughts, relax your body, relax your mind...

Premium MemberMy Wife's Fourth Anniversary

From the brow of the hill
I could clearly see the panorama
Beneath me. Worried I saw
From afar a dark man,
Scythe in hand reaping…..God knew what.
In far off fields full of tall grass.
It was not the man who interested me.
It was my wife, a marriage of forty-seven years.
I saw her hobbling down an uneven path,
Her body bloated with disease.
She never looked back.
Strange I thought,
There were no birds around.
Only profound silence.
Arriving at a crossroad,
Without hesitation
She took the right narrow trail.

My heart thundered in pain.
I knew what was in her mind.
Incautiously she arrived at a bridge.
Thick fog covered the other side
An extension that led to unknown worlds.
Head straight but body limping
She dragged herself over.

Helpless I looked on till she disappeared.
Disconsolate I sat down on a stone.
She had suffered enough. She will now rest forever.
But I? Will I find some salutary rest?
I felt the pain of separation.
From afar a bell chimed an Ave Maria dirge.

Times

Such trying times, these are
You just never know
What might occur during them,

Is anyone safe?
Are you able to eat?
Are you able to survive?
Who’s caught it?
What shall we do?
Is anybody actually afflicted?

There’s a chance,
Though perhaps just as likely
As the salutary rains
Pouring in the Atacama.

Though heartbreaking it is
Realizing that nobody,
Absolutely not a living soul,
Can even put forth the effort
To realize the truth
That encircles all of us.

Slender Kindred Glance

Slender Kindred Glance

sun drenched, a field of
reflective grasses,
abosrbing the infernal rays
of that hot orb, swaying
in the breeze as they might,
their motion inspirits
my head and torso to sway
slowly in tandem,
in parallel time like
a lazy march, as the
rhythmic swirls
of dried seed heads
atop floral stalks, brush,
against one another,
crashing…. serving up
its falling germ,
ground-ward, glancing off
to one place or another.

as my human touch,
with its atomic currents,
attest to their certainty of
interaction, what would
I do, when a slender
kindred glance of
the ineffable breath,
yes that breath!
engaging that crowned
salutary word, which
sounded the first cry
to release, birthing
the slow crawl of animal
logic and its pool of
accrued totality; the
human sun, that human orb
bows down.

My eyes stare forward,
my breath has halted, the
fields of grass continue
swaying, they pay no mind,
it all started so long ago;
seed scurrying about
over the landscape,
lodging wherever, hidden,
patient, asleep for the
moment, awaiting the
conditions. Like them
I wait, I take
a full breath.

had the Lord felt it proper bestowing a son unto
me to grow with my three healthy daughters

I would teach the boy as a man it’s improper for
your daughter to see her father cry when she is

ghosting a waking nightmare just learning to fly

Premium MemberHer Last Amen

She sings her way to fame or so it seems
beneath the karaoke gleam of a D.J. , spot lights
The pulse of the music flashes with pupil high
as she sings cautiously through amicable chit chat

Intermittent eyes sprinkle up the stage
as she sings the newest rage, her voice is lost
amongst the suds and salutary wine ;

Beneath the neon light of a karaoke legion
she croons a sorrowed song of running home

While his liquid eyes of brown turn raindrop hue
his secret telegraph arrives, as what to do
By the time she is done with her song
the descent of an annihilated tear
that captivated her for years arrives,
slaying her grief and wiping it clean;

Though she sings like never before
she cries like never before,
she is met with a silent applause
and a thunderous undeniable truth,

he doesn't live here, anymore.

As absence finds us silently saying goodbye
to everyone,
farewell to every place and memory I cherish

And absent any voluntary theological plans
in conscious development
to leave us with your absence
of both mind and body,

Pay close attention,
fully invest in,
what feels salutary,
salvific,
benign beauty,
peaceful healing

While calmly noting
what feels involuntary
and threatening,
unfair loss.

And, where you may hear
and see
and feel
All of holonic integrity above

Winning anything
but decomposing Loser usual

When absence of co-passion
finds us quietly saying goodbye
to every reductive relationship,

Farewell to each degenerative place
theology could never cherish.

Internal climates
reflecting external ages,

Ecological era of trees
engaging theological forest sages.

Beware of Trouble Incensed

Trouble left alone hurts no soul
Endowed with enough wisdom
To score no own goal
When trouble turns vicious in the kingdom

Where trouble finger on the trigger of his machinegun
Slays intruders by the dozen
If wisdom devices from them run
Towards the avenger denizen

Who enjoys a repose by the busy bus
He drives at leisure
Eliciting from no intruder a fuss
That halts the flow of the pleasure

Trouble sips like a well-chilled red wine glass
To his heart’s content
Until a misguided lass of little class
Brews for trouble vats of discontent

Catalyzing him to erupt like the angriest Hawaian volcano
Spewing noxious Sulphur gases
In an inferno
That incinerates flower and tinder dry vases

To teach a salutary lesson
To learners willing enough to take heed
Of timely advice from the wise person
Who readily plants and germinates the wisdom seed

Whose fruit
Nourishes
The recruit
Who dishes

Out love to meddlers
Enjoining them to treat trouble with the respect he deserves
From finicky fiddlers
Who trespass on trouble’s preserves and reserves.

Love Creche

My love crèche refreshes the niche
Where stacks of bliss
Vie to dish
Out the kind of love fleece

That my love nourishes and brandishes
Clear avenues
Where sorrow finishes
Blues disseminated in news and views

Expected to chart the way forward
In matters of the heart
That reward
The start

To an enriched setting
Enmeshed in prisms of happiness
Waiting
To displace an episode featuring unhappiness

Which sometimes creeps
Into nooks and crannies
In a berth that keeps
No faith in pennies

Counted once in a lifetime
In need of a dose of affection
Genuine to bless a life for all the time
When attention

Needed to bless a union
Is never in short supply
But given a standing ovation
To dry

Unshed tears
To grace a salutary coupling
Bereft of beers
With no inkling

To derange the range
In which love lubricates
Gears to arrange
Happiness states

In which bliss thrives
Heartbeats breathe well
Sweet love derives
Love feelings that swell and spell a love scale.

The Cranium and Premium of Injustice

Take society’s attitude
Towards indifference as given
Although women abhor gratitude
For societal foibles forgiven

In the face of the Christian faith
That burns within a woman’s soul
When Providence breath
Scores a salutary goal

In consonance with the motto
One cheek slapped, the other cheek slapped
In a pilgrimage grotto
Where 2Pac rapped

All eyes on me
As though a woman were leper
Society loved to hate with glee
Alongside a pauper with no caper

To boast of
In the sight of men
Who grudgingly brandish love
As an inducement to women

Treated with contempt
Used, oppressed, dumped
In a haughty attempt
To get machismo start-jumped

In the full bloom of the sickness and ugliness
That womanhood suffers
In huge doses of humiliation and sadness
With no compensatory offers

For remorse unfelt
Hair tousled and unkempt
Expectations raised and unmet
In an egregious event and attempt

To gloss over injustices
Unleashed on the fairer gender
In equinoxes and solstices
That demand women’s surrender

Although the new millennium
Demands fairness
In the cranium and premium
For women’s unstinting happiness with boldness.
