Salmon pink horizon beguiles as I towel dry
Upon a muted canvas morphs hues at sunset.
The lake decants of its waders and pontoons.
Mirrored waters tranquil—a soothing elixir.
Tidy up and make camp for the night.
The campsite invited blissful slumber.
Natural waters reflected frond umbrellas.
An artificial lake at once sequestered.
Fuchsia shades spackled across dusky skies.
All had surfaced—I dove into a lost horizon.
Allow me to introduce myself,
friends tend to call me Saturn’s MelRose;
Once you read me? I stay off the shelf;
I run around in a sweet saucer
all decked out in salmon pink and green;
It runs on the smoothest ice water;
Vast emerald and rose trails take wing,
my reputation always proceeds;
Ship arrival’s got music blasting;
Spicy taste like Taco Temptations,
I’ll share mouthwatering bliss with you;
A vibe of flavorful explosions;
Life’s a tour bus for me everyday,
spinning parties everywhere I go;
You’ll feel it as soon as I press play;
Floating in on a sick rhythmic beat,
I flutter into invisible;
Flick that switch on, hit it off, repeat;
We’ll do this all night if you want to,
those who built me forgot a slow move;
It is all or nothing just for you;
Flooding wood with cosmic ascension
glitter bombs and sick lines hit the floor;
All your senses give way to passion;
My life’s devoted to a mirror
showing you what you’re capable of;
By track’s end you’ll be a believer;
High fever demands that you return;
On my slick turntables the motto
is ‘For all you girls filled with fire? Burn.’
Flowers bloom under salmon pink sunsets
grass grows and runs away with itself
newly born baby birds fly or fall
Yes, spring is finally in the air but
why am I so unimpressed with it all?
I yearn for cold, the crisp cool wind
my tennis shoes rustling the leaves
as I walked to her house where
the main street ends.
Autumn is my Master who beckons
me to stand tall against the sometimes
bitter coldness that stays around and on
into the fall.
Just a brittle bar of marble
slotted into a chapel wall
translucent white on salmon pink
with a phrase to explain. That's all.
The line in silent eloquence defines
where Rome's flood water flowed, so long ago.
Sunset
Subtle hues of sunlight
seen in the western sky.
Shades of orange and red,
salmon pink and yellow;
swirl on the horizon.
Sun sinks gradually
setting the sky on fire.

(Oak Tree)
trees stand in a line
like soldiers of our time
they solute as I walk
with branches leering high
blotches of light
is all that appears of the sky
a sea of green
on the ground is seen
with a path like a salmon pink stream
another tree
appears at the end
made of half sky and half green land
an oak tree makes a stand
a tree from many trees
or is it all pretend
without the structure off these trees
could this image of this tree descend?
is there a hidden legend
within this view i see
why does it spring out
so enticingly to me?

Soaring
Free as a bird
No wings to restrain us
Blown gently on salmon pink clouds
Heaven!

Roses For Pd
There is a cluster flower budded rose
The name is "Valentine Heart"
It has a habit that’s open
The similarity is there from the start.
The flower is semi- double,
Pale pink and scented too
The rose reminds of someone I know
And that someone is you.
Another rose called "Sweetheart"
Large flowered of upright habit
It has dense foliage of light green
It’s a pretty pink double, that I have seen.
But the rose I favour for you Pd
Bears your initials as you will see
The "Painted Damask" a beautiful rose
It has prickly stems but a powerful nose.
In summer this rosette full double
With carmine tipped flowers will give little trouble
Another called the "Lovely Lady"
Salmon pink flowers and likes it shady.
So Pd, I send to you
These roses with my love
For you to receive on Valentines day
And I thank the heavens above
For such beauty that we see around
And you stand with the rest
These roses are a foil to you
Because you stand out the best
Dedicated to Pd

Many engage to share,
impossible phenomenon,
the changing face of our mother star,
and the celestial painting of time:
the vivid grey of mid-noon clouds,
cracked like concrete in the later hours,
revealing
the milky fire of still burning life
in the evening sky, not colors you can paint
your walls with, hardly recognized by the eye
except for memory in nature,
salmon pink-
the divine flesh of Gods too far to grasp
spilled
on the common ocean of the stratosphere now getting deeper and deeper,
until finally drowned, transparent
and you can see for miles, other stars and
other sunsets
Jet black ravens
Agents of time
Glide through
Salmon-pink sky
Collide in red
Dust storms
On mars
