Premium MemberPledge Allegiance

A union in ourselves flags wave
Unite in freedom, die in vain
House divided, republican it saids stand
One nation, under God; only good rules
A stand for liberty as we ourselves
A pledge allegiance, even it had meaning
Allies of ancestry roll in their graves
Destroy the world, people want say

Greed corrupts while people hunger in streets
North, South, across the world calls for truths
Centuries of wars fault, devotion same cause
Live life, be free, walk the lands barefoot
Now people wants us kneel, say things ok
Just turn a head while terrorist hearts rain
Even in war soldiers die just so freedom rings
Even for the right cause we fail to unite
We bury another as if we ourselves pull trigger

Pledge Allegiance, a vow; an oath worth living
Many cross boarders fleeing to be free
From mankind's killings and sinful ways
Pledge Allegiance, only knee I take God I pray
For peace and liberty, justice people cry
But close an eye to moderate centrism
To stand a nation, you first got rid what's wrong
Even the innocent die while people take control

Premium MemberA Lost World

What was once to be, what was
A life of dreams and hope's reality
Chaos turned uncontrollably wildly insane
A society of a broken world,A Lost World
A dying generation,a new begins

People out of control,no control
Killings everyday the news channel saids
If not by gun, phones become deadly
The people cry even if their own destruction
The hurt is felt even to the economy
As well as the soul,a lost world unfolds

A society who condemns God just their pleasure
Their needs be not yours but their own
That behind the gun they pull triggers
Who to blame, not the one swinging hatchet
But society,We The People our choice cries
As we point blame to a lost world dying out

We want to do crime but not pay the price
Kids kidnapped and raped,no parental control
Our choice be our own Let Freedom Ring
But without sacrifice what do we gain
If we become a lost world without perception
A Lost world with no future cause we fail to teach

Premium MemberThe Poems I Never Wrote

Somewhere in time, everywhere in time
are ingenious thoughts - forgotten,
"Should have saids", "Could have saids".

Thoughts penned in dried ink on
    paper torn with regrets.

Is it possible that some thoughts
must simply remain as they are?
Are there some things that
cannot be put into words?
Do we forget them because
they are meant to be forgotten,
or scribbled on a misplaced
       lazy page
as if they were never written
or wanted to be recalled?

Why then, do they haunt us
and are never truly gone...

Premium MemberBeauty of the Beast

There is always such beauty one
finds in a woman
Even that to which she finds in
herself can be enticing
Her love brighter than yonder stars,
strong as a man's soul
Yet the touch of her curves drive a
man insanely wild
What is it about love so strong, essence of her fragrance alone is love itself
Tenderness of her soul fragile
but boldly built
Her juices drip not even that
of a tear should fall
Love of a true woman only
respect earns loyalty
But only love gains access to
hardened heart

Her mind quiet, her motives untamed by disturbance
Beauty of the Beast,to love is
to be devoured
Heat of her passion be strong wrath and blood drip
But her mind, her heart saids take
me and love me
Feel my inner soul's darkness and
demons rule there
Love with caution the signs warn

Hidden Lust

My eyes behold this beauty my stare hugging
Tight
Curves like hills in Italy a figure so
Right
Carmel intertwined with chocolate skintone
Of ebony
Murderous infatuation I am guilty of the
Felony
Radiant and bright like that yellow marble in the
 sky
Voices stampeding in my head just a cacophony of
Noise
Lipstick dancing on her lips to a shade of
 sapphire
Careless whispers of vague dialogue now
Transpires
Now she is closer like like seven next to
Nine
But im caught in a web of indecisiveness my words no longer
mine
To my consternation she politely saids
Hi
Her eyes squared with mines like a matador red
Cape
Now this bull of lust charging with lustful
Rage
Words still alone all alone like a solo act on
Stage
Vanilla and amber her aroma permeates the lingering
air
My Words stumble upon my lips but vanish away like my doubtful stare.

I Feel Like a Spring Robin

I feel like a spring Robin.
Reluctant to leave his nest.
Values cherished awaste paste not pride left untested.
To nature.
Wings not spread unheard to the tasks that lie ahead.
Indeed this reluctant Robin must leave his nest.

And scale a world blessed with adventure a venture known best.
But avoided for this soul is held back by a force that demands his every ounce and luck the rest.
Surely this reluctant Robin should leave his nest.

In hope that luck, dear luck will change the rest.
And bring life to a path lest void by only saids.
And raids of thought brought forth by inner will at most.
That I now believe that me, the reluctant Robin will finally welcome risk.
Love and life.
And leave this nest.

The Music In Me

The music in me has this electrifying essence.
That brings out the true me---my emotional presence.
Yeah simply put it overwhelms me.
Mostly overburdened by words churning right to left.
East and west.
A beat pattern that only I can see.
Rhythms - rhymes all in tune with my mental beat.
Flowing down my fine spine intensifying cold heat.
The chills.
That are the melody inside that keeps playing and playing.
What else can I do apart from listen to it's sayings.
Saying, " speech trapped in inner voice, and can't escape a world of random words," my mind.
But can't escape a curse overburdened with tales.
Threads.
Saids.
And empty words.
This music in me is a part I most cherish.
For without my simple sonnets then me---my soul shall perish.

It's Mighty Funny

It's Mighty Funny

It's mighty funny,
That you call me ugly,
But you are trying to look just like me,
Everything I do,
From the hairstyles I wear,
To the way I dress,
You always seem to copy,
You tell me I'm nobody,
But you see my talents and my rewards,
And can't congratulate,
But roll your jealous eyes at me,
You obviously want everything I got,
Because you feel everything about me saids,
I'm hot and your not,
You obviously don't like yourself,
That's why you want to be somebody else,
If you hate who and what you are,
Than that's to bad,
But to hate, admire and envy me for being what you want to be,
Makes me glad,
All you are doing is showing me,
How much you hate being you,
And how much you would love to be me,
Your telling me it sucks being you,
And it's wonderful being me

Magic Beans

These magic beans come from a place
on the other side of the rainbow
Some are good some are bad

Red of course it the power to make someone fall in love with you
Blue has the power to take all your sadness anyway
Black has the power to take fear away and make you brave

These are not the kind you eat
You put it in a drink make a wish
Wait for the sparkle and it may come true

The rule book saids to be careful what you wish for
The most special bean is the mystery favor
What is does for you is always a secret

Favorite Toy

Favorite Toys

Matchbox cars and helicopter pads,
Airplane runways and little people lads.
Thomas the train and Dora dolls,
Remote controlled trucks and bouncing balls.
Flash cards and coloring books,
Magic sticks and fishing poles with hooks.
Rocking horse and a three wheel bike,
Racing cars and little tikes.
Don’t break the ice game and play phones,
Magic markers and Fisher price built homes.
Play dough and construction tools,
Scooters and swimming pools.
Butterfly kites and potato heads,
 Twister games and Simon saids.
Mechanical robots and rubber snakes,
John Deere Traitors and gardening rakes.
~
With all these toys you have to play,
Why do I have to tell you everyday?

To leave your puppy’s toys alone!

A Dark Thought

Darkness settles
across the ground
Broken children
softly drown
Gardens of rigid stars
surround
"Hold me close, God."
The whisper faint
Undaunted still
with no restraint
"Coupe de grace"
the heavens read
With reluctant minds
saids, unsaid.
