Life is a bloody dream
Filled with rough and course scream
The road is filled with highs and lows
Sky is gray where fair wind blows
So, you must learn to set the mode
Your heart must strive to live the code
For, in the depths of rights and wrongs
Lies love that creeps where it belongs
In the shadow of sky, so gray
Lies light that shines to show the way
Where hope dies deep, there glows a spark
That drives the souls out of the dark
Live with the code, your conscience cries
For, in this life there are no tries
Mistakes you make will bind you forever
To live in mist of stormy weather

A dark angel writes in the air,
“There will be no tomorrow for you.”
Then puffs of shiny cloud ebb,
Ebony night surrounds me.
I tremble in fear.
I hover between now and never,
as if I'm traversing a rough river
on one bank: life, on the other: death.
I feel an ebbing of nothingness,
like gulping down bad breath,
or gasping in asphyxia,
between a being and non-being,
sandwiched between heaven and hell.
Which way must I go?
Lord make the right choice for me,
for I tremble in fear.
How oft had I been told,
hell is an illusion, don't believe!
Now it seems like reality and I fear.
I see my past, its rights and wrongs,
a sort of blind imbalance,
not a hair is lost.
Where is the illusion now?
Or worse is it delusion and regret,
that I could have achieved much more?
Thus I tremble in fear.
Spirals of fog surround me,
whirls of fatal mists envelop me,
a long dark tunnel with a faint light ahead.
But what lies at the end?
An ephemeral awakening or an eternal damnation?
What weapons are left for such a fight?
I can only give my soul up and pray:
O Lord, I trust in Thee.
I fear no more.
We teach our children the rights and wrongs
The correct way to behave and be
Manners, morals, fairness
Kindness and honesty
Be respectful to all of life’s creatures
Do not hurt or mistreat
No verbal, emotional, physical abuse
From violence you retreat
Lately, l feel disillusioned
With the behaviour l have seen
Of “supposed” adults
Words and actions obscene
Hurtful words, inappropriate conduct
Disrespect, disregard, ugly displays
I wonder what our children would think
Watching how their “teachers” honestly behave!
I'm sure you've noticed throughout your life
There are definite rights and wrongs
As soon as you determine which is which
You'll be singing a happy song
It won't always hit you like a ton of bricks
When it does you surely will see
The error of your ways pretty damn quick
As you face the third degree
When I was young and learning the ropes
It soon became obvious to me
You can't really take things that aren't yours
It didn't take me long to see
So as of this day, my conscience is clear
Must say I've led a very clean life
Always travelled the straight and narrow
Listen up, it's very sound advice
They manage to keep a fanned flame
These ones with no claim to fame
They don’t trade, build or make
Yet heralds ogle for their sake
And I to myself only wonder
That I find no rhyme or reason in my ponder
But I keep my opinion conservative
For my appetite craves no weird narrative
That one can be famed for nothing
It just doesn’t fit my hearing
Once there was respect for the audience
Until stardom clouded many a conscience
With sound worth one had to be endowed
Before presenting oneself before a crowd
And a few had glimpses of glories
With quotes and works transcending histories
Others galant warriors and wise chieftains
Glorified outlaws and vilified villains
Men had their names on their rights and wrongs
As preserved in folklore, poetry and songs
And until ideology once more underpins
Character, manners and disciplines
Ethics, decency and social order
Evil will have many for fodder
To be grazed on and trampled underfoot
Thinning fortune that another may have loot
And if you cringe at this possible end
Then with every fibre of you strive and fend
For the return of righteousness in our midst
As the bare and common at the very least

" Out beyond ideas of right and wrong doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." Rumi
Beyond the law's rights and wrongs, there is heaven; I'll meet you there.

"Can you feel the soul of an abandoned house;
can you hear the whispering? "
Quote by _Constance La France
The knowledge is worth more than anything;
wistful memories we called home did bring.
Where our story drone echoed through the walls;
this abandoned home's soul as daylight falls.
Children's loud whispers ever robust songs,
weaved with endless squabbles of rights and wrongs.
Decay from yesteryear changing seasons;
leaves fell, covered round, a mulch like reason.
Green balm, soundlessness hollow, nature's home,
lull emotions of hopefulness now roam.
As it faints away and falls, darkness calls
to the soul of the house's mournful walls.

The sparks in your eyes like I just struck a lighter
You're beautiful to me, a passionate fire starter
I wish you could see yourself through my eyes
Never again would you doubt you're a prize
Doubt me not, you are always worth fighting for
Our rights and wrongs we never need to keep score
Ever time is mutual opportunities to explore
To love each other like we've never felt before
When we walk together, your footsteps sync to the beats of my heart
Holding your palm laughing, talking, being each other's from our start
Feeling affectionate shallow passes through your hair
You're never again going to be alone, I am always there
When I am in your presence, our time stands still
You hold my heart closer than anyone else ever will
I'm sure you've noticed throughout your life
There are definite rights and wrongs

Born into a family of fourteen
Never heard the words “I love you”
She left home a girl with little education
An army life she did pursue
She fell in love and married a soldier
Soon a mum of five
Tragedy struck early
At thirty seven her husband died
Widowed with five small children
In a time of limited support
She emigrated to Australia
On the ten pound pass she bought
She worked her life as a cleaner
Worked her fingers to the bone
To do what she had to for her children
Keep safe, educate and home
She was only a little lady
Four foot ten and no more
Her heart though was as big as the ocean
My role model, mother and mentor
She taught her children well
About life’s rights and wrongs
To show respect and be kind
Be determined and strong
In latter years we were best buddies
An unbreakable, eternal bond
Until heaven called for
My sweet little mum

Rules- made for a purpose;
Required to shape life well.
Readies complex planning;
Requisites- well explained.
Respect for common rules
Restores balance to stress;
Rights and wrongs- explicit.

A new light is hoping to break free. Free from clouds
Marred in lies grey, an anger hovering. A golden ray
Enveloping and inviting, welcoming and warm
Rather than a darkness divisive and cold, separate and
Ignorant of constitutional rights and wrongs. Here to brighten a
Country made unclean by an uncivil war – a chance to
Atone for the sins of the father. To protect those unheard, unseen.
