Premium MemberDAILY GRATITUDE ALOHA SPIRIT

I am grateful knowing one doesn’t need to live in Hawaii
to embrace the Aloha Spirit
It can help you overcome your anger, bitterness and strife
“Aloha” means harmony, helpfulness and unity…
and it is much more than a greeting…
It is a way of life.

ANGELS OF GOD

Angels of God, thank you for all your work, for making all of our moments turn to light.
Angels of God, lighting our life, giving us help in times of need.
Angels of God, shining bright, loving and caring, giving us support when we are in the dark.
Angels of God, you are appreciated today and always, you are in thoughts.
Angels of God, lead and guide us in all of our steps, make our days bright on our path to our true life.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

Premium MemberUlladu Narpadu verse 10

as thoughts and emotions within us stir
we can pause to ask to whom do they come
whence in silence sensing magnetism purr
and hanging outside heart the sign ‘welcome’
we be and so become the cosmic hum
beyond space-time as light of Self supreme
recognising earth life as but a dream

You Overwhelm My Heart

Woke up today at 2 a.m.
to think of this boy again.
Which is crazy,
’cause I've never felt so much in my whole life
and I don't even know
what it is yet.

I open my eyes in the dark empty room with only stories to tell quietly,
to immediately think of you and die again,
realising what you did to me.

Part of me dies again as I choke on my tears and lose myself crying inside.
’Cause inside of me you have a special place in my heart that words can't describe.

Seriously,
I don't know what I cry for,
you make me happy in a way no one ever could before.

Maybe you overwhelmed me with everything you could,
your gentle words and tiny actions mean the world to me and everything they could.

Premium MemberSuper Sister Stars

Love changes everything, words oh so true
My world changed as our family crew grew
Day by day for you sisters, love did grow
The loveliest sisters that one could know.

Sisters you completely captured my heart,
Nothing and no one could tear us apart.
That goes for all those who love you to bits
Especially your children and grandkids.

So bouncy and lively, zesty and bright,
That's the way you go on sailing through life
You light up a room, soon as you appear
True gifts to the world, so precious and dear.

May today and the days that come after
Be filled with abundant love and laughter
Every moment a moment to treasure
For sisters who bring life so much pleasure.

Never change from the women that you are
Dear sisters to me you are Super Stars.

Premium Membersift, the sands

sift, sift, the sands of time
          sift for loves gone missing
               sifting thru a passion’s pall
     bows once sweetly kissing

bend, bend, the willows old
          bend with breezes, sighing
               bending with its aging arms
     through neglect now dying

cold, cold, the winds of life
          cold, to freeze the marrow
               colder than a heart, misled
     pierced with envy’s arrow

lost, lost, a true love’s eyes
          lost with tears a-brimming
lost to drown inside a gaze
     ne’er again … be swimming.

Premium MemberGood Intentions

Though you might not call it a success,
I strived to do what I thought best.
Yet, I did not get it right, I guess.
I admit that, and I confess -
what I made was one big mess.

Now that my life is almost through,
and you ask, "What were you trying to do?"
I softly say, "I am one who,
more than anything else, loved you,
and tried, always, to be true."

So, that's why

So you needed to break me to make me. You want to reform my soul before you take me. Well then, I surrender because of fate it should be. I am not defeated. They were not empty sufferings. But more Contractions, birth pains.. I was being reborn again. Prepared for the glorious day when I can say I am alive and living with inner grace. Where I truly believe I am an image of him that which he made me. A mirror of his reflection, constantly elevating. Strengthening and awakening deep parts where only his prayers can take me. Places where forgiveness waits for me. My thoughts once oppressed by shadows of misdirect, that I learned recently were not of his fate but they were also not a punishment.. I know he hasn’t forsaken me, he hasn’t let go. Sometimes Love must wound to heal, they say the pain is the lesson which I believe is real. The more scars the deeper the conversations and self-realizations with GOD are. So yes, you need to break before you can be your best and truly Divine. Its grace, and it’s not always smooth sailing as we will find. It’s not the lack of him in your life, but rather a strong presence and reminder he’s always by your side.

Premium MemberMy childhood

I received my child service record's about my life

And as I read the 500 pages it cut deep in to me just like a knife

A Mother that didn't want me a father that didn't care

Brothers and a sister that didn't really want me being there

Locked in a dark coal bunker with no glint of light

Beaten up everyday by people I could not fight

If something went wrong I was the one to blame

Broken shoes and ripped clothes I was so full of shame

I was sent out to steal and I could not say no

Because if I refused I was Beaten and I was made to go

As time went by and I started to grow
There were things about me that I needed to know.

But no one would tell me and pushed me aside

Like a dirty secret everybody wanted to hide

Now I'm a man and I will do what it will take
To find out why I was not wanted
Me the mistake.

Premium MemberGod's Purpose In Creation

Created for us with such velocity
A stage for life with such grandiosity
The stars, the planets, the moons God hurled
As all of creation he unfurled

And the grandest thing formed by God’s hand
His final creation was that of man
Vegetation, animals, and birds of the air
And then from man he formed woman so fair

He knew every aspect of his plan
We received intellect so we could understand
That he was our God and he’d always care
Wherever we went he’d always be there

He then gave man our free will and free choice
So each could have their own unique voice
Their own path to travel their own song to sing
Put in man's terms to do our own thing

So, lift up all voices and give to him praise
His son died for us then he did raise
All of his plans one day we will see
Our stairway to his presence for all eternity

Premium MemberLiving In the Material World

(“Something or Nothing”, 2024, original encaustic)

You can be my liquid lady
I will be your solid man
We can live a life of pleasure
Or at least the best we can.

Seize the day the poets tell us
Somehow that will make us whole
But the truth it lies within us
There reveals our sacred soul.

In My Eyes

In my eyes, alive I see
A place I wish to be.

In my eyes, alive I see
A way I wish for me.

To be alive and to know
My friends as friends go,

To face my way and then
Conquer my fate again and again.

Premium MemberWe ate Bacon for Breakfast

We ate bacon for breakfast
and knew it would be a good day
For with a tummy full of bacon
somehow life just feels okay.

Smell of meat candy makes your mouth water
as frying bacon's scent permeates the house
Sleepy heads awaken hungry to chow
eager children for bacon ready to joust.

The mood of family as happy as can be
for bacon a favorite devour with glee
No need for conversation eat it while you can
never in this house is there leftover bacon.

Breakfast finished and off to do what needs done
starting the day with bacon flavors life with fun
But what about dinner will it seem bland
Mom making BLTs nothing good as more bacon.

Premium MemberIN A BABY'S SMILE

What is it we love about a baby’s smile?
What’s the magic in their smile we all see?
Is it purity, innocence, acceptance, happiness
beatitude…peace and harmony.

Or…when we see a baby smile…is it more than, at first, it seems?
Perhaps we see a shadow of our hopes…a reflection of our dreams.

A baby’s smile gives us a chance to think about our journey…
where we’ve gone in life…how far.
a reminder of who we once were…
and in this moment…who we are.

It’s possible…behind each baby’s smile we also see
a reminder of the person…we were meant to be.

If a baby’s smile has the ability
to give our heart and spirits a lift…
then every time a baby smiles at us
we should think of it as a gift.

And if an innocent baby can give a gift
to someone he or she doesn’t even know..
perhaps that is the reason
we tend to love their smile so.
