Premium MemberSilent Scars

Silent Scars are not visible to one's bare eyes
that no one can't see or feel.

Trapped by these mentally, physically carrying
the above mentioned unseen adversity.

Specific experiences shared contrasting one's
strength with armor and a smile.

Despite that one's tongue often reminds me of my shared experiences of Silent Scars.

The weight I carried solo mentally, physically had
nearly retained me as a prisoner.

Finally, I'm breaking free voluntarily from these
chains of oppression.

Premium MemberDAILYGRATITUDE EYES OF A CHILD

I am grateful today… for how often I have smiled
that, even at my age,
I’ve retained the eyes I had as a child.

How wherever I am….
whether in nature
or within the pages of a book…
my eyes can still find magic
everywhere they may look.

Premium MemberI hear their whispers

who is to say who is the more psychic
the one who is clairaudient and hears ghosts
or the one who is clairvoyant and sees them?

they are not hidden in shadows like others think
those of us who retained our childhood seeing know this
my girlfriend spies them in blips and slivers at corner of her eyes

I hear their whispers; they love alerting me
it’s not scary, but it is humbling
I feel having this quality is a gift not to be taken lightly

I often phone a person I barely know
at the spirit’s request to pass on a message
I am trembling and shaky when I do this
weird, since the gift is usually joyfully received.

Premium MemberImmanent and transcendent

Path of the heart transcends the universe,
in a realm eternal beyond space-time
but if we’d sing a love song, pen a verse,
ego is retained to feel bliss beat’s chime.

The heaven mind seeks too orbits God’s heart,
so reaching the zenith is not enough,
since form will die and we’ll need to restart,
surfing waves of earth life, both calm and rough.

Bilocation then seems to be the key,
that be the life pulse dual or single,
we are, as we are, awake and so free,
delighting as bliss pheromones mingle.

Freedom, love and power, synced with God’s will ~
In streams of bliss, where we drink to heart’s fill

Premium Memberpoint of potentiality

in tranquil repose, we so chose
to discard conditioned belief
whence like the phoenix, bliss mists rose
granting soul much needed relief

formless presence poised in the void
drew in its heart, scattered intent
that essence of light unalloyed
grants agape love soul’s full consent

in staid stillness, energy peaked
breath retained, awaiting release
kissed by the mist, heart now love-streaked
breathed out grace with nonchalant ease

Calling of Home

Focusing on my self; no other
filtered out all negative feelings
cut ties with deceptive dealings
home is calling so don't bother

Feeling things that make no sense
a little of revenge, guilt, anger, fuss
a lot of love, faith, truth, and trust
Thinking of things conjuring defense

Eliminate thoughts of all others
took for granted with misjudgment
challenging my truth with argument
now stuck in shame that smothers

No allies in this deceptive outer world
most live for bribes lies no alibis
all I truly hear is loud curdling cries
devastated by the truth, only can hurl

Let this be a lesson to trust only self
trust your own feeling and knowing
forgiveness and healing for growing
always room to help improve oneself

Not understanding my role in your life
no longer needed spoken or explained
hate jealousy greed no longer retained
dismantling what The Divine calls strife

Completes my assignments with grace
highs lows many death and rebirth
bring back LOVE to beautiful Earth
LOVE is home there's no other place

Premium Memberstone broke with the right attitude

Although she was stone broke
She retained optimism and hope
People welcomed her into their homes
They gave her encouragement and jobs
She was helpful and delightful, full of integrity
Her life was richer than most of ours

Premium MemberAngel in the snow

Snow covered trees line the highway with white
I drive while seeking, yet another new sight
Things in life come with a high price to pay
I tell myself often, I will find my way

A flock of birds fly in gray sky with freedom flapping wings
They know where they're going, any outcome, each one sings
I often find myself on a slippery slope
I seek out my muse, ways with words to cope

Imagine falling like an angel in the snow...
There are those special things in childhood, we'll always know
How to make that angel, be that angel, on a cold winter day
Memories are retained of lessons learned during play

I keep driving, passing the trees that make me think
on a highway full of thoughts with every blink
There is a span of things I know and many miles to travel
Just to know what I can let go of or otherwise unravel

I'll try to spread my arms like the angel in soft snow
Wrap my beliefs so they don't melt, holding onto what I know

Stain

Hes only moving forward
Every moment framed like novelty
He scrubs but the memories remain
Cant wash away the lingering pain

If he's the shepherd will we rally?
Well you would choose to sleep immortal, wash the future from your brain
Watch you slink down moonlit alleys
Every atom of his body tears through choices he refrains

But hes only moving forward
Every moment framed like novelty
He scrubs but the memories remain
A feeling that nobody could feign

Pass the bottle of aletheia
The shackles of the past still enough strength to restrain
Try to scatter all the pieces
Indulging in a pretense, so tomorrow is retained

Cause hes only moving forward
Every moment he tries so hard to frame like abstract novelty
Scrubs hard but the memories remain
Wants to wash away himself, from the future
he's a stain

A Fresh Start

Once a year, we toss our sins
And then we start out fresh.
I do it, even though my now-
And-then beliefs don’t mesh.

Traditions of the holidays
Are somehow still retained
Because, I guess since childhood,
They are very much ingrained.

Tomorrow, using pebbles
(Breadcrumbs can work just as well),
All my sins will hit the river,
Least as far as I can tell.

Dogs Are The Best

Dogs Are The Best

Dogs were the first of the animals to tame.
And over millennia, they have retained their fame.

No matter where my dogs might be,
I know they’re always protecting me.
And they would, their lives, gladly give,
Without a thought so I would live.

I love them so much. How much, you say?
We’re never apart for even one day.

And when we touch, we all get a surge,
Of oxytocin that will purge,
Any bad feelings that we may feel,
And make us all feel so ideal.

So when you see a dog you don’t know,
Be kind to it and try to show,
That you understand,
And let the dog sniff your hand.
You might just make a new friend,
And see a wagging tail end.

HIDDEN TREASURES

Hidden treasures in my mind...
Cherished memories with you.
Some are easier to find
Mapped out on a print of blue.
Others are harder to recall
Although they are retained.
Despite this, I still love them all...
Inside my head - contained.
Maps that I have drawn of past
Co-ordinates and places.
Either lost or made to last...
The good times and their faces.
Along my way of life's journey
We met some way, somehow.
This, I dig proverbially
Revealed inside the now.
There's still more life for us to live
So join me with said spade
And let us make the time we give
Unearth more than we've made.

Premium MemberHe's Mine

He's my baby, babe, baba, daddy,
While I have always been his baddy.
He's my habibi, ostaz, maaly el basha, zaim,
While I remain his secret zaima.

He's my teacher, my saint, my mood,
While I have always retained my godhood.
He's my mozza, el wasim awi,
While I remain so pretty to him anyway.

He's my role model, the man of my dreams,
While I daydream of his daily creams.
He's my love, my twin flame,
While I remain in a new frame.

He's my lover, closer than friends,
While my fantasies don't have ends.
He's always there, with a listening ear,
While he and I sat together so near.

Premium MemberLife To The Fullest

People have opinions about everything
It's our inalienable right I guess
To believe what we believe without outside influences
To discover with our very own eyes and heart
It's much more likely these facts will be retained
More than reading them in some ancient old manuscript
Living, investigating and researching the facts for ourselves
We learn by living through all of life's experiences
The good stuff, the bad stuff, the happy stuff, the sad stuff
But the moments that makes our hearts skip a beat
Are the most joyous moments as we walk through life
Watching the sun rise every morning
We never fail to be amazed by mother nature
Life is still the greatest mystery
How? Why? What does it all mean?
We don't need to know the answer to all of life's mysteries
We just need to enjoy them while we're here
And try our best to leave with the knowledge
We lived life to the fullest!
