Premium MemberAfter The Floods

Flash floods came in a sudden
After few hours of torrential rain
Villages in towns submerged
Water rose so high…surged.

People stayed on their roofs
Waited for rescuers holding faith and hope
Teams of rescuers came less than an hour
To save everyone with all their powers.

People evacuated in safer places
Government officials sent foods for days
Relief goods and help came from the cities
A unified effort and cooperation with love and peace.

After few days , water slowly subsided
Some went home, others were relocated
Clean and clear up programs were established
Clogged drainages and canals were all fixed.

Many volunteers, both young and adult
Cleaned and planted more trees for better result
 Proper waste disposal was implemented
Illegal logging and quarrying were strictly prohibited.

Premium MemberAfter The Floods

Cracked castles are in dilemma. whether to fall or stand
Waters whirl like a lake and sea, with a lean sign of land.
Among the carcasses of beasts lie humans, as though mixed
In destiny's destructive force, nature remains transfixed.

Swarms of insects strive for existence. Will they all outlast?
Ants carry a dead snakelet in procession, unasked.
Do dogs, cats, goats, and cows think that they're in a swimming pool?
Aren't they on their final journey, though the water is cool?

Blessed are the rescuers, who risk their lives to save others.
To leave one to die or to save them, they have their druthers.
It's due these that the catastrophes of nature get humbled.
The fanfaronade of death and its decay get crumbled

The flood is like autumn. With its waters, it flows and fades.
Doesn’t the drought-flood scene have been enacted like sun and shades?
Vegetation sprouts with renewed vigour, power and strength.
Meadows, orchids, and orchards spread out to an unseen length.

Eternity

From where the misery departs into a majestic ocean.
Not in this cosmos but someday in any of the universes, I will be yours.
From where the eternity starts and mixes with reality.
Not in the eccentric sunset but in the calm seashores.
Called the Agony Slayer, he arrived as your incarnation.
Said, "I will be yours and we will be there."
Didn't know the spells of actuality are this much powerful.
Not in this universe but I can look for a wormhole.
Who knows? I.
Let us dive in the pool of perpetuity.
And never come back until the ultimate rescuers come.
The Agony Slayer bowed down but he must pray.
Said, "Thousands of Empires fall and establish everyday."

Premium MemberThe Unicorn Rescuerer

Unicorn rescuer floated by and fell off wings of a dove
I was amazed at her prowess, she came from high above
Why do the unicorns gravitate to you? Some asked the girl.
I have no idea she said, but her lip was not in a churl.

One of those open young women with love in her heart.
She gives everyone a piece of herself, an empathetic part.
How many unicorn rescuers are there in fantasy land?
Just one, but she is the best, you will soon understand.

animals were on a mission, sent to help the world.
Dogs thought it up, invited cats. Birds heard and horned in.
We looked like Noah’s ark on a bike, rushing to save someone.
Trouble is, no one remembered who we were to save.
Enthusiastic rescuers without listening ears

Premium MemberChain of Death

The chain of death,
Is growing, link by link, with each passing moment
As the souls of the departed in Turkey and Syria
Rush upwards to the heavens
In search of peace and tranquility
After the abominable experience
Of being buried alive for days
Under the rubble of hypocrisy, and indifference
Of those who constructed unfit housing, just for profit,
But
At the same time, the souls exalt all rescuers who came to help,
From so many countries,
Risking, on many occasions, their own lives to save the victims of
The 7.8 earthquakes on the Richter scale,
Proving that it is not only Love that unites the peoples
Of the world, but also, uttermost pain!

The powerful earthquakes of 7.8 on the Richter scale that shook Turkey and Syria on Monday have caused the death of more than 22,000 people up to now. There is fear that the number of victims will double or even triple when the final count takes place. Let us pray, and do whatever we can to help those left behind: The injured, the homeless, and the hungry. Blessings.

Failed Suicide

The failed suicide.

He sat on the edge of a cliff, feet dangling in the air
the view was spectacular could see as far as only eagles could
could, and to think he had come here to end his life
Sat there, his troubles seemed small alright his wife had
left him, he had to leave their flat, had also lost his job too
and the visiting right to his snotty little children which
suspected was not his in the first place
For work, he could always get another job than the one he had
was a boring, 9 to 5 shifting paper, writing Ok, putting them
on an out-tray.
Now he had a fear of falling laid on his back trying to crawl
upwards, but with his feet over the cliff, he could not get hold
kept slipping down and falling
He didn’t fall far, landed in a tree sticking out of a crack and
had grown there for this reason only; clambering to the tree
hang there till rescuers, whose job it is to save people from
themselves came.
Down on the ground and embarrassed, he said, I was not
trying to commit suicide, admired the view, slipped and fell.
Sure, the rescuers said, we have many people, falling from
this cliff when admiring the view.

The Storm

The storm wind whipped
The drive to the store was skipped
The windows boarded
A sigh of relief when the storm is thwarted

Citizens evacuate
Debris includes a gate
The wind blows
Fear shows

When will it hit
In a town it will sit
Homes destroyed
Rescuers deployed
Tears of sorrow ultimately prevail
Boats turned over, no longer will sail

Lives turned upside down
No smiles, only frowns

The government will step in
Rebuilding will begin

Premium MemberA Cowards War With Blurred Lies

"A malicious war carried out
on the innocent
 in lies
 that has disseminated their cities."
Quote_by Poet

  Early dawn while people slept,
    heavy missiles rocket launched
      the violent attack came
in waves of mass artillery fire.

Homes and buildings up in smoke
    destroyed in quick succession
      leaving pile of rubble and
people fleeing yelling and in pain.

  Families, young and old ran
or crawl for their lives weeping
in the streets, as some are struck
down, some help each other to safety.

Others killed in their last tracks.
    Rescuers search for bodies
of the missing in the shards.
A fight that was not equal in strength.

Quantum of Solace

"My piece of Solace!"

A world of losses and defeats
Wandering soul in search of peace
Spiritually exhausted not because of sins
But tired of giving & giving of the services...

A fair of selfish crowd
She's left alone with her wounds
Expected some humanity in distress
But only received phoniness and proud...

Searching a medicine for relief and prosperity
Love and to be loved is the therapy
Keep walking, don't stop your feet
Enlighten a fire of everlasting purity...

Dried eyes looking for the obscured answers
Unsaid words wanted to be the rescuers
Despite of all the vehemence
She has just become a viewer...

Disappointed, fragmented & in grief
Sailing on a catastrophic ship
Nothing is better than listening to one's own heart beat
All she needs is a quantum of touched music...

Suffered severely, regret and hate
Discomfort cling to her mental state
She gave herself the gift of consolation
Finally, she has found her inevitable solace...

The Boy In the Drain

The boy in the drain

A boy of five years played in a field
noticed a hole in the ground worth exploring
a hiding place to show other children.
He fell and fell like forever before the falling stopped.
It was dark and cold he wanted to go was home.
The boy cried out they would come and save him
I must stay strong; he was strong falling asleep
and waking up, stay strong, stays strong.
five days is a long time for a boy of five.
So, easy to succumb to the long sweet dream.
The evening of the fifth day, the rescuers
reached him, but it was too late.
Morocco is mourning.
For many of us, it was as hope for the future
had vanished words do not cover our despair.

Premium MemberIho - Surfside Victims

June 29, 2021, in an early morning hour,
While most of the residents in a Surfside condominium were asleep
The South apartment building of the Champlain Tower
Collapsed, with 97 confirmed dead and counting, over 60 more missing.
Horrible pictures document the building rubble in a ghastly heap;
Leaving South Miami residents in shock, while rescuers and recovery units scour
Through the ruins looking for anything relatives will want to keep.

Premium MemberDark Night Covers Up Crime

Darkness of night smiles, not fully understanding scenario
However, noting that it is instrumental that she keeps things hidden.
Reflecting neon meterorite glows, outshining a moon who is edging away.
Stars are in hiding, not showing themselves at all on this ominous evening.

Pink neon sneaker lies on her side, covering up crime in gully.
Her crisp whiteness would be easily found if detectives knew where to look.
They would find the body attached to her, too.
The body that is no longer uneasy about her final resting place.

Copper cliff edged in neon pink understands that something vile has happened.
Unsure what exactly, but sends a neon pink ribbon of curiosity to take a peek.
They glow brightly, illuminating the spot, however, disappear by morning.
When the sun comes out, and rescuers begin looking in other places.
