Premium Member Creating Jade Meadow

“Escaping from life’s wasteland into the serene
introspective depth within I discover the treasure of
emerald bliss” – Quote by Poet

Walking in weary steps along the amber wilderness,
the lone life wanders despondent on the worn-out path.
I absorb the embedded emerald grandeur of reposed bliss
from the conjured cauldron of the tranquility trove within,
strive to stow in the nostalgic niche of melancholic mind
and create in my pallid plaintive heart a jade meadow.

Halo

Before I am reposed at last, weave me a crown of flowers
So for when I pass death's threshold, I might carry life
For the rotting halo I wear might turn me into an angel
And my decomposing body to have a companion

Premium Member Reclining Rose

Reposed in shadows
within a realm of colors
dusty rose gown blurs.
All the flowers she adores ~
as gold love's beamed out of doors.

Green and purple blooms
are always in her warm face ~
'til she sinks in grace.
Exquisite pinks golds and blues
fade out, as plum night ensues.

Premium Member trying to take a luxurious old persons nap

Tuesday of last week was humdrum said Cap
I had to take a luxurious old person’s nap
Boredom put me down hard, I reposed in a stream
Ready for an exciting adventuresome dream

My body loved it so much, he wanted another
But alas, I was awakened by my hundred-year-old-mother
Did you feed the chickens? The horses? The sheep?
I had to leave my castle and surrender my sleep.

Premium Member Strawberry Water

My love's reposed neath the military lawns of rows
of marble lit in moonlight's tender care.
July, the month of dreams of him-
watching bluebirds feed their fledglings under
Carolina blue skies so vast.
Maples and oaks sway in their full foliage in
a coquettish way with the courting breeze.
Strawberry water, cold to my receiving lips
and throat.

The comforting summer serenade of daytime
into twilight's cricket chorus so soothing.
I recall when we were young parents,
the newness of every morning,
our baby daughter of angelic beauty,
the leisure of the weekends with coffee
and the Sunday paper.
How she grew so swiftly, and we began to
become gray.

Our baby is forty-two, love,
and we miss your fatherly and
granddad's presence.
Strawberry water and reminiscing,
sweeter than watermelon,
on this summery eve. ~

Premium Member Waves

My relentless reverie reposed
on engrossing edge of halcyon horizon,
where the scarlet sun
unshrouds the demure dawn,
brings me across million miles
of dreaming detour of trance
to the cyan sea that shines
with the shades of fervent allure.

I stand overwhelmed looking
at the periphery of primal vastness,
its boundless joy dancing
on the crests of surging waves,
make clattering cascade of pearls
as they crash on the craggy cliff,
and flowing free return reticent
to the fathomless serenity of silence.

The embrace of the silver sheet
swathes my fragile foothold,
as the waves beat beguiled
in the moonbeam ballet of blue night,
I search for my mesmeric mermaid,
swimming away on the stardust trail,
and I set sail in the serenading wind
to where my heart is beyond the sea.

Premium Member A Tiger No Worse

She reposed in the greenest shadows, her ankles fat
Flexing her well-trained muscles like an enormous cat
We felt ourselves being watched but did not know
It was spring elf woman, until her eyes began to grow

A tiger! A puma! A lion! We were guessing like mad.
If it had been one of them we would have been rather glad.
Spring elf woman has a reputation of being incredibly mean.
So far things were okay, because she has remained quite unseen.

Premium Member Earth Woman At Heart

An earth woman at heart, she reposed in the sycamore tree
Enjoying the undeniable smell of freshly mowed grass,
And the unmistakable aroma of Auntie Mazie’s apple pie
This is my happy place, she thought, not yet knowing
That some days she would relive this moment over and over

A Home's Doors

Think, as with all doors
What behind on, closed
This, first out-stepping life for.
Home! When heart-reposed.

None, breathless, dying
But anticipate
As whom back, for love's warm hug
Run through the dark, late.

Premium Member Since God Made Us All - Repost

Human rights are everyone’s rights
Regardless of nationality, race, sex, or creed,
Since they are God-given the moment we are born
It is essential we honor them with all due speed
To be prejudiced toward another human being
Is a violation of God’s holy law,
Since God made us all!

Human rights are the greatest gift
Bestowed upon human beings of all races and creeds,
And we all need to be mindful of our brotherhood
Especially since all of us have the same essential needs
To experience love, peace, joy, and acceptance
Is commanded by God’s holy law
Since God made us all!

Human rights are basic to the good life
Wherever we find ourselves living on this earth,
And knowing we are all the products of our ancestors
We must accept that everyone is special from birth
All our faith traditions teach us that we are created
To obey God’s holy law,
Since God made us all!

Premium Member Lady and Her Tiger

unique ethereal communication
comaraderie usually reserved for troops
relaxed and reposed, blatant respect
tightest relationship either have ever had
a family of two, tiger and woman
spiritual bond beyond understanding
beyond a friendship
beyond most people's grasp
beyond most tiger's grasp
an earthy inner knowing
mystical yellow and pink aura of trust
they have each other's backs
and always will

Premium Member It's Spring

Season of flora…
Plethora of greenery…
Earth full of magical aura…
What a matchless scenery!
Wonderful is nature’s machinery!!

Vegetation begins to grow…
Enticing is the entire terrain…
The new attire enriches its glow…
Bare trees sport green buds once again;
Reposed animals are out of their domain.

A time of great change…
Cuckoos welcome its grand arrival…
Cattle seen grazing on the range…
A sign of revival!
A hope of life’s survival!!

Premium Member Soliloquy of Silent Stone

Immutably
the rock rests solemnly reposed,
settled in its venerable vigilant venue.

It silently witnesses the estuary of geo tides
muted in indolent vibrations
crafted from the command of tacit eons
that carve its inevitable formation.

Narrated within stoic calmness,
its testimony is written under the oath of
time, space, wind and weather
without revision or revolution
for this stately sentinel

Locked in the burden of gravity
it erodes and restores its mass dimension
commemorated into the millennia fold.
It whispers a story of intrinsic silent majesty
whittled to eternities sculpture
in the quarry of earth
