Premium Member Caren where did you put it

the last time I laughed uncontrollably was last week at my sister’s house
She and I are identical twins
We were celebrating our birthday
I kept reiterating stories we both knew
Where someone put me down.
“Caren, what HAVE you been eating?” from an old lady who was stupid.
Because I weigh forty pounds more than my twin.
A stupid old lady who dresses out at eighty-eight pounds.
Every time I said that my twin and I hooted with laughter.

Here is another one.
“Caren, where did you PUT it?”
I would say this in the snottiest voice of my mother.
Because she said this to me when I was twelve.
I had been sewing a new dress
out of green material with yellow mushrooms.
I loved this dress and kept working on it night after night.
Years later, my mother told me
that Daddy accidentally got grease all over it.
He thought it was a rag and used it to wash the car.
So, she threw it away.
“Caren, where did you put it?”
I still hear my twin laughing.

Premium Member Queen of Fantasy Pharaohs

Her imaginativeness was off the charts
she invented pie cake and jelly bean darts
world of whimsy she constructed was keen
as a fantasy pharaoh, she was the queen

we travelled to Saturn when we wanted to play
she lived with her purple puma and reptile named Gay
her home was engineered out of a dryer’s lost socks
she never spoke of her journey from the world of hard knocks

reinventing and reiterating fun every time we were there
quintessential hostess who displayed joyful loving care
spectacular grandma who encouraged simply everyone
especially those who had forgotten how to have fun

Premium Member Voices

What’s the reason to die, the wise know
In a thousand voices they confide to me
Their valued opinions, but I’m too slow
To capture the truth they can clearly see
One dies, two are born, and it doesn't matter
Who will they become, one may do
The same thing, another may do something better
Until the third comes to change the whole view
But these abstractions seem too grand for me
A new meaning cannot replace the old
I belong to my own, smaller reality
Where her paradise garden my love has grown
There I stay, listening closely to you
To the voice that I know so innately close
Realizing that death isn’t eternal, it too
Comes and goes, in the mess of its time resource
But aren’t we doing the same again?
Reiterating ourselves, we’re expelled
After the rest we are back somewhen
Hearing the voices we know so well.

Premium Member She Never Said Which Bathroom

Shelly had been talked into marrying this guy.
He had money and would take care of her.
She got more nervous as the big day came near.
Money is not love, money is only, well, money.

Her parents kept reiterating how marvelous this wedding was.
They had dollar signs in their eyes which implored her to run.
Shelly excused herself to go to the bathroom.
She never said which bathroom.

Premium Member John a Peace Maker

John Lennon was all about peace, love and hope.
Like Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King Junior,
he wanted people to get along, to love each other.

His death was the ultimate betrayal of his life.
But in another way, it reminded us of the futility of murder.
Of the horror of it, of the senselessness and the sadness.

I picture him planning his life prior to his arrival.
He agreed to this horrible death knowing it would help the world.
Reiterating everything he taught in his songs.

That we need a Yellow Submarine,
that the world is full of happy people.
That we need love, sweet love.
In his death he was also teaching us.
Forever teaching us.
Thank you John.

Premium Member Stripped Naked

"Stripped of a physical body,
[individualistic] mind stands naked,
revealed startlingly
for what it has always been;
the architect of our [shared] reality."
Sogyal Rinpoche

Stripped of a spiritual mind,
bodies lie nakedly dis-potentiated,
undominated,
indomitable,
undomesticatable,
de-commodified,
startlingly unveiled
for why we have always evolved here
in regenerative Earth's life-giving environment,

Historically revolved
and culturally regenerated
through DNA bicameral dynamic reiterating spirals,
bilateral nature/spirit animation,
humane/divine co-inspirations

Autonomously stripped

Believe It Or Not

The Munro and Corbett mountain peaks contest

Current events dictates social distancing

Squire Cavendish was expecting some protest

Twenty four paired challengers were competing

Marshalls prepared alerting the contestants

(Isolation bubbles strictly adhered to)

Reiterating the rules and enforcements

Alarmingly, a small protest did ensue

Squire’s bombastic tone and presence did inflame

As an incendiary device would exploded

Worldwide interest in the media game

Above newsworthy helicopters hovered

Now eagerly awaiting developments

Protesters in numbers increasingly spread

Mainly due to many safety infringements

Disappointed challengers away were led

9/28/20

Five words Mountain. Squire. Current. Events. Exploded.

Premium Member I Wish She Had Not Said That

Faeries around the lamp post
Flirting with me
Show me skin
High-five each other
Showing off their translucent wings
And their singing prowess.

I am amazed; had forgotten them truthfully.
Refusing to believe in this kind of goodness
After the worst six years of my life.
I am thirteen now; it make sense they would show me
themselves, reiterating that I am never alone
I had not seen them since I was seven, in the garden
when Grandma said "There are no such things as faeries."

I wish she had not said that.

Transposed into Ego/EcoSystemic Therapeutic CoArising Theory language
which speaks up and down
perpetually rooting for Resilient Game Theory

In this WinWin cooperatively regular game
of living Earth-restoring justice,
our goal strongly and flowingly favors resilient health
robust ego-flavors and multi-ecolors
over reiterating Win/Lose violent monocultural gaming business
as unfortunately and suboptimally far too toxic usual
due to deductively disassociating LeftBrain wealth of elitist words.

Too Much

Sometimes I think I write too much,
with the words getting lost in rewrites
   repeating and reiterating
   those same emotional feelings within
but
within me rises and storms that need
   to express what I feel,
   reveal what I see.
Strange to think of that long gap
   some eighteen to twenty years
   when nothing could be written
when life drowned out the need with other struggles
but here I am again,
with a renewed vigor and resurgence of
what has been hiding, pushed down within
the inner depths of my mind and soul
may the words find their way
   and may they be worthy
   blessed and enjoyed
by the writing and the read.

Perfect Paper Plane

Slowly, slowly but surely
this day is swirling down the drain
Tempers are flaring, orders are dastardly; being lashed out
Obnoxious, oblivious, overwhelming stupidity
How much more is the margin pushed before it becomes enough
Society is taking a step back, a step back from progression
Obsession, controlling of time
writing takes care of the problem though others arise
Revising, reconstructing, reiterating
so redundant, repetitive, annoyance
When will everything finally cease
when will everything finally cease, dissipate...
Fuse with the wind, take the shape of an inanimate object
and fly, float away into the nothing
or like a perfect paper plane
signed with grief in the misty rain
as if to say come back another day

Letting Go of Pain

Sit down allow me to talk with you for a minute
You look tired
You had a hard day
Let me pray
That your spirit is eased
Let me pray that the way you feel
Will be submissive
To let go and expand your situation
The only thing to be done is valuable and reiterating
Calm down allow me to rub your head
You are still here with me half past dead
Breathe it is okay it happens to everyone
Stress tested will thy kingdom will be done
Hold on your breathing is trying to increase
Don't stop before you release the beast
Your emotions there running down your shoulder
Okay I understand you are older
Life has trampled your decisions
Must I mention
I have always known
Built buildings do fall
And the economy is blown
Shown definitions to many hidden words
Take flight airlines South
Western desserts
Topped with sand cactus
Sticking to your finger
Don't linger with your restless self
Time does make a difference
Now you can see melt
Slowly like ice
lay on my lap
Once you awake to the taste of relaxation stimulating destination
New self
