As long as we believe we’re body-mind,
our thoughts, words and actions orbit desire
but if we be still and divine aligned,
rapture borne by bliss sets our soul afire.
When thought tempests with firm resolve we tame,
light of Self shines like a flicker-free flame,
whence thereafter nothing needs to be done,
since we recognise God and we are one.

Our Claim to Fame

Someone in passing says they’ve seen us
somewhere. It could have been when
we were singing or reciting poetry. At first they
didn't recall the time or place we met.
They smile as if great friends when seeing
us, and we struggle to remember. Maybe we
were just out for fun, but in the other’s eyes
the event was bigger than life. The sun shines
on us, but it could have been night.
It could have been a night when we were
seeing friends over drinks in a bar and
grill on a one-way downtown.
It could have been in a coffee shop
where we read poems, and in the heart
of each person the words and lines
held a different meaning. The atmosphere
was warm, and we called it love.
Someone could remember the time
we walked along the sidewalk, and they
passed un-noticed as they drove along.
I was shy when I was in eighth grade
and asked the girl with red hair if she noticed
me while I was in a crowd below the balcony
    where she stood.
O, how much it meant when she said yes.

when both subject and object disappear
we become the awareness field itself
in space-time everything then now and here
which we may call God or absolute Self

consciousness, one homogeneous mass
luminous darkness, energies withheld
we have so seen through our soul’s looking glass
wisdom of sages in silence beheld

In time stretched tranquil silence,
as awareness self-aware,
imagined boundaries blur,
paving way for a melding,
of presence with the vast sky,
wherein ego disappears,
making our soul’s eye single.

Each body cell is a part of our form
and has no independent existence,
enlivened by heart wherefrom flows blood warm,
health ensured if there be no resistance.

The universe is the body of God
and all that’s manifest, is breathed by Him,
wherein simply by giving love our nod,
rapture rises as our soul sings a hymn.

We are the drop and we are the ocean
but to become the whole, we must let go,
slowing down thought flow, gentling commotion,
that truth of our true Self we get to know.

Know that as we each fulfil our life role,
we are inseparable from the whole.

Recognising we are in truth living light,
in a domain transcending both time and space,
feeling complete we enjoy unbound delight,
yet to grow in love, steps toward earth retrace,
where once our eye’s single, we garner clear sight,
of course being bestowed solely by God’s grace.
Earth life is a school, where love’s the only rule,
to awaken light of Self, our heart’s jewel.

Premium Member Pale Day

A pale murky day at my place
I sit in my room with no view
Watching the spring in its autumnal phase
How strange does it feel without you
I’m like a stray dog here
Who came by chance to check out
What’s new in the depth of fear
Where I used to hang around
What an obvious lie that time heals
Sclerosis may do, or dementia
But if you are sane the pain feels
Deeper, and more essential
With each empty day I live through
I feel more and more distanced
From a person I was with you
Now it’s a different existence
You are closer, you live within
And there’s me, but I’m not the same
It’s a life backwards we bring
Into each other, to carry the flame
Where are you now, I’ll come to
If it’s called nowhere, there I’ll be
The only thing I need is you
And your recognition of me.

Separation from source, the cause of pain,
birthing suffering, amplified by mind;
healing requires us to be born-again,
in as by leaving betrayals behind,
forgiving, becoming with love aligned.
Recognising life to be but a dream,
our pristine presence floats on love’s moonbeam.

liberating...
the recognition
of a job well done;
infinitely more worthy
than any trophy.
a chef's kiss explosion
at the realization
that an accomplishment
is, at last, celebrated
that one crying for help
is seen and heard
that one is enough
for the Lord
notwithstanding
walking with feet of clay
ain't it grand...
one soul -
out of a billion -
knowing
how bright another shines?
isn't it a blessing
that he or she sees
the spark
of the besmirched gem
deep within
when the universe remains
hopelessly blind?
it's an answered prayer.

In youth we think we know it all,
as life and time change so do we.
Or at least we have an opportunity,
to make changes with age.
Why is fear a part of life,
for there is no fear in God's huge heart.

“Mistaken that I was this body-mind,
I succumbed to desire and fell to fear
but on choosing pathways loving and kind,
light of God in heart began to appear
and truth of my true essence became clear,
which made in God’s image, is living light,
gripping us in rapture of bliss delight.”

God's light has lit my path,
my path to a blessed life.
Once very unclear,
now older the fear has melted away.
Love fills God's loving heart,
can you feel it?
We can be in rapture of bliss delight.

I died today,
I felt myself just drifting away,
The sky was blue as I walked through a green green park.

I walked slowly, I didn't worry that I might be late,
I was so relaxed as I went toward that golden gate,
And standing right there, my Mum, my Dad and my beautiful daughter too.

I never felt this good as I looked up and recognised you,
I thought everything would be gloomy and sad,
But now I am back with you, I know things are not so bad.

Oh to rid oneself of human weakness,
let go of fears and not give in to lust.
Oh to see the finish of one’s bleakness
by putting in God’s hands one’s total trust.
To open up clarity’s sweet portal
and understand God’s truth should be the goal
and strive to be more than a mere mortal.
Oh to really feel God in one’s soul!
The year is ending; let me wisely choose
the path of love and kindness – God’s own way.
A person gains when he’s prepared to lose
self-centeredness. For all mankind I pray
we recognize God’s light and let it shine -
to bring a world of bliss – God’s peace divine.

Sometimes I do recognize immediately the small still voice
that I feel more than hear in my mind
Sometimes it takes a few moments to realize
who is trying to get my attention
I should not be surprised when God communicates
with me considering I spend time in prayer every day
But it still does surpise me at times,
and thrills me often, because he speaks to ME
and I feel very insignificant in the realm of life,
but to him, I am a beloved daughter and that
gives me great joy and comfort every day.
