The Past Flutter
In the ‘shame’ of the mother the daughter and
in unruly spirit a drag queen enters the land
Why not she ponders my Jesus is transgender
he himself turned the tables and went on a bender
Engaged with Magdalene and not all disciples
fit nicely with the notion of strict archetypal
‘normality’ posterity wants to make us believe
that queerness was not up his caring sleeve
Rags and pink feathers surely adorned his crown
yet straight followers of conviction whittled down
diversity otherness distinctive medley variance
excluded themselves from a different stance
Lesbian gay bisexual trans-all Jesus’ are so close
to his or her message in open minded repose
I am not mocking and do not wish to offend
but greatness has no borders in this holy land

Allow me explain
Brethren gathered here for
Custom dictates
Due process prevail
Exaggerated much
Flaws mine-as may seem
Granted the providence of evidence you see
Highly placed the source-allegedly
Inconceivable the idea that falsehoods they be
Jury decide-be it she or be it me
Kissing and telling discretely-of course
Listlessly I will you tell this tale, you see
My wife's mother's brother's valet-who doubles as mine
Noticed a queerness about this chambermaid fine
Opulent her head with silky tresses
Perfect her skin as nothing else is
Quenching a thirst as non I ever knew
Repugnant as I found the idea, true
Sacrifices always must be made for
The greater good of humankind sake
Ungodly as you all will agree this meeting between her and me
Vestments would not keep me away
Witchcraft! That's what we suspected for how else could I a Lord be so blinded
Xylophone music was all that I heard while headily begging for her hasty embrace
Yet how was this Lord ever to know that
Zealotry was for chambermaid's too?

the sheer notion of extorted kindness
buried beneath a sorrowful note
of racketeering compassion
above a silent whisper throughout
the queerness of being wise beyond
a tarnished silver spoon of tangible
lessons shattered throughout
blind faith cringing for life after death

Andy Brook calls death every figure
guided,
hidden in jars,
killed living mellow nights,
opened presidentially,
queerness rules specially
to ultra-violet waves
x-raying Yeisha's zygospore.

In wilderness, on an insignificant milestone
I sit and reflect all alone.
In the vastness of the road, behind and ahead
Of the smiles shared and the tears shed.
Memories trespass and shred my thought;
Queerness, some borrowed some bought.
The road has been a friend, a bad friend
It gives you company but leaves you drained.
When on the road, people come and go
A few stay for a drink or a draw.
Some conversations happen that never should
A few remain unsaid, rarely understood.
I get up and begin my stroll,
To the horizons that beckon my soul.
A confusion stills lingers on, I hardly share
Is being lost better than going nowhere?

Perhaps on hind sight they may decide to add more time they may fix the presets
to make
them open they may even be more user friendly but they missed it for the first time around
how can you pretend to knoeledge when you hoard it when you keep it from the whole
crowd and dish it out with the silver spoon as pablum carping in a stream. Refusing to be
sane and safe you LORD it over otheres no Lord no power in your hand but the gang like
backing of the others of your kind insisting on rules that neither help or edify the group you
seem intent on making a world of non believers full of sin and queerness restricted in the
use of all equipment not needing more than querulous food fed inthevieniously overhead of
all the smarter ones never will agree this is exactly what it look likes this attempt at poetry is
a poor ensample of a poor example of a poor man attempting poetry. In other word the man
attempting to convey to the reader a poor understanding.
