Don’t drink this
Never eat that
No ‘naked carbs’ now
or you’ll get fat
Too much sugar
too much grease
From fries and pizza
you’d better cease
Limit those portions
Dessert, not a nibble
Else like pudding or jello
you won’t walk, you’ll wriggle
Well I’ve had it, you hear
I’m off my diet at last
‘Cos if I eat any less
I might as well fast
She speaks words I like to hear
she pronouncate
her words so clear
I embrace her
for more than a Kiss
our time apart I stop
to reminese
Don't leave me strange
and in an unwanted way
things I never thought I
would have to say
must I balance my time
between you and my wife
Uncertainty of a nightlife
might we exist to see see the day
That morning comes and
erases the night away
FAITH
Oh boundless faith
You are a gift
How do we get it?
Less it's too late.
Oh help not far
The fall of man
Or a woman,
God is so near.
Across the lakes
Through frozen flakes
They come in storm,
Whose breath be warm
To change a freeze
Into a tenderness,
To fall and splatter,
With applause
To somehow matter;
Offer cause,
Hard against the clotheslines of
The earth of every yard.
Spilling a releasing warmth
To all frozen tongues and
Flowered root that soon
From canon stalks will shoot
The sky with both barrels
Of new brightness.
Seizing every eye,
As spring is born.
Pages torn, windows flung,
Songs sung and
Sun splashing warm kisses
Onto cheeks that blush
With wishes
For only more.
A day or two of lasting pleasure
Amore’,
This too, a part of
Our forever story.
I will sit outside tomorrow
On a tiled balcony
Have my breakfast,
Scrambled eggs
And caviar,
Portion out a peace
To share with God.
My phone a private gadget
Sweetheart-
My dress a private garment
Sweetheart-
My weave a private attire
Sweetheart-
My Sop a private program
My roam private trekking
Dear-
My wallet a poach in heart
Lover-
My calls meetings in camera
Baby-
My texts unpublished docs
My utmost toast -
All of this belongs to you
Except what I've said not
This wrist dear you for
This private your public lot
Sweetheart-
I love you a lot
in part
ample portions
inflate the proportions
to up-size me to oversize,
not trim
Developing a skin of leather
You know birds of feather flock together
The universe stitched fine like mesh
Indulging in myself with only love for the flesh
We are only small blips in time
The mind thinks it's all mine
How could i hope to ascend
When i can't see it's all pretend
The ego acting as the biggest defender
To never give up on the inevitable surrender
Wheat
oats
grapes,dates,
olives figs
and pomegranates-
