The door in between

There is a door no one speaks of.
It is not built of stone, nor carved in the timber of old houses,
but hidden deep in the marrow of the world
where beginnings were never written,
only uttered once
by a voice that no longer is.

Its wood does not creak,
it sighs, like an old woman who’s forgotten why she still

The Portal of an Oval Window

I sit and stare beyond what's there, besides
"The oval window, a portal to another dimension".
It drags the moon's eclipse off the sun's circle
to show an ellipse with twin foci, in two dimensions not one.

The tension woven into its shape shrouds a duality,
a flip-flop state, steeped in, 
and reeking with ambivalence.

A PORTAL TO HELL

I was leery as I approached that gate
Rusted iron, painted over with black
Behind it I saw a jewel encrusted sky
Yet if a portal to Hell, did I just die
But I heard someone mutter nearby
A low voice warned me to stay back
I just saw a shadow, and so I’ll wait

Portal Of Life

I navigate through the portal of life 
Walk past the corridors 
Where light and shadows play
Welcoming each twist and turn
Accepting the ups and downs
Guiding my path to my destiny
Facing life's storms
With fortitude and resilience 
Crafting me into who I am  
The echoes of the past 
Reverberates across the hallway
Where the past and present meet

The Waiting Portal

Walking through the forest
You look and see a treasure
A portal to another reality
Just as beautiful as the one you are in
Do you dare take another step
Go through to the other side
Or stay where you feel safe
That, my friend, is up to you
The portal will be waiting for you
If you ever pass this way again

In the vast mirror, a portal to unknown realms,
I find myself, a bent shadow, like a dog weary from the road,
Seeking its refuge in an unseen harbor,
A wandering ship in storms of dreams and memories,

We love being there, land of the fey welcomes all

Become a portal of blessings,
Let goodness overflow through you,
Regroup and strengthen your soul,
And press on to see it all through.

Don't lose the joy in life,
Even amidst pressure and strife,
Look beyond defeat and move ahead,
Let your inner person shine instead.

Wipe the sweat off your brow,
In the face of storms and tests,
Flourish even in captivity,
Let the Spirit

Portal

I am awakened by a whirling sound,
I hear that it’s time to go to the past,
A door stands before me that is time-bound,
It opens and pulls me through very fast.

Does time eavesdrop on our conversations?
How did it know I crave a back in days?
Cures are harder plights than preventions,
Redemption can be sought from the old
