Tonight t'was the stars
I'll cascade a memorizing moon
Glimmering sanctified silence 
along with 
trickling twilight for 
iconoclast ink, 
the serpentine key to 
sacred myrrh melodies
of my heirloom heart~
O glamorous specs of
citrine care to each
unravelling amber acrostic.

Under wakening oaks
blooming fuchsia fairytales
and coral morganites 
of swallowing solitude,
I weave autumn aventurines 
of the daring
despicable and an
endearing enigma

'Pon The Mountain

Looking forward all winter for my vacation 
A three-day excursion put on by We Are One Nation
We parked our RV’S near the foothill,
then hiked and climbed top of the cliff and met Will
When the sign appeared Reggae Pon the Mountain,
we were quickly escorted to the water fountain
Come and jam to the tunes of the Marleys

'Pon black flannel nightgown well-worn faded
An old gown once deep black as darkest ink
Now washed to a softness by life not jaded

Pinky fingers curved by arthritic joints
Hair white with age like a shining halo
Gown of pink roses washed dull by innocents
Wishes come true tossed 'pon distant rainbow
