Serried spirits walk on the wind
Paratrooper raindrops collecting courage before descent
Drunk off your paints, tasting life in your landscape
Heart ablaze, my fantasies have been conquered
Village pillaged by an army of one
Glimmer of my eye tucked in by evening sun
Assigned to your omphalos, war drums curvet
At your touch, I evaporate into song
Polyphonic acme

When life’s been pillaged of calm
I yearn for welcome release
Somewhere far beyond life’s qualms
To know solace and deep peace
I build castles in the sky
Where I retreat now and then
I build castles in the sky
But I never move in
I go there to think and pray
Where no one can breach a thought
A safe place to steal away
And ponder what God has wrought
My castles are of brief worth
Short escapes from tough battles
Encountered here on this earth
‘Fore bang of heaven’s gavel
I build castles in the sky
Where I retreat now and then
I build castles in the sky
But I never move in

I remember now!
His name was the Crenshaw Cowboy!
He was the one who told me I descended from kings!
This is why I jump over the fence
Why I kick the fence
We pillaged and burned
Doing only what we needed to survive
So that we could one day tear the fence down and make peace
Or maybe I'm wrong and death is the only way not to kill.

The silver spoon that poisoned me
Secrets that pillaged an open heart
took my healthy blood and turned it rotten
Caused me remorse beyond repent
Lead me to another lifetime
Of correction
Surely I will see you again
But this time I won't naively follow into wicked sadistic ways
Of pure gratification
Hopefully my innocence will be preserved and not wasted on evil cardinal sin
You lead me down a path so damaging that it left a permanent scar for everyone to see, a girl without innocence
left with forgiveness that risen from the ashes of life you burnt

People with heavy minds
They are of all kinds
Yet all are entrapped with the same binds
They think and think more, Than they blink
in few clinks, Of those binds.
How heavy of chains they bear
How dense and murk is their fear
How they shed those blood-soaked tears.
From where can they find the courage
To fight fears which have them pillaged
Being enslaved by their own mind
Turning their gaze blind Oblivious to all.
Are their solutions on hindsight,
Or will they fly amongst Arctic tern,
To burn their concerns in the flames of blue? To soar akin to a Phoenix, And rise above their fears

The air is foetid and breathing is so difficult.
The open window allows floating debris,
To spread its pungent staleness over all.
It’s a difficult struggle for sunlight to shine
Through the clouded fog we must inhale.
I see more pallid faces of people at the portal.
Where I read trees and flowers once grew,
Is now an industrial slum with a thick oil slick,
Oozing across the land, dead trees pillaged.
A cemetery for what once was, a thing called beauty.
Nothing that can be described that way still exists.
Farms had to die in the regal name of progress.
Oceans of fish polluted and poisoned, whales extinct.
No sand left on our beaches, Coral reefs destroyed.
Shorelines stinking and black, streams contaminated.
Waters have risen and islands sunk into the seas.
A novelty to see one of the remaining birds,
Concrete replaced something they used to call grass.
Praise the pharmaceutical manufacturers
Producing pills with vitamins to feed us and keep us alive.

You warned us against profit and greed,
with deaf ears these warnings; went unheed.
You soul was pillaged and changed,
till your life became so unarranged.
Dry your tears and please don`t dispair,
for your innocent child will start to care.
He maybe standing at the cliffs face,
so just show them-them your lovin` grace.
Forget your fury-forget your outrage,
time to start on a brand new page.

She sailed on her tidal madness
waiting on time to unravel her
depths of insanity
while the wave of turbulence
coursed through her veins
She is lost in her own odyssey
pillaged by Fate
she lost all
leaving her in a Robinson Crusoe
hungry skies with reddish eyes
& rumbling stomach , rained tears
lashed with anger
calling for emergency
Warning signs, ringing loud
salient voices conversing with the wind
shadows laughing
mocking her caricature
crucified on a pike
who will bear her cross to Golgotha?
who will roll away the stone?
her loft disappeared into oblivion
waiting to be seen in her nothingness
looping back and forth
To be crowned Chaos Queen

winter wolves have eaten the tulips
the wind has pawed and pillaged
small dogs strain on their leashes
a summer storm has ice in its veins
warner airs arrived too late
to save the groundhogs litter
bitter are the fruits
of this fanged season

Honking geese are prodding me,
I have to get out more.
One slice of cake in the fridge
I leave the house
but the image of that cake follows me.
Back home
and someone has pillaged the cake!
I turn, surprised to see a trail
of creamy goo and crumbs
leading to the same door
I left from.
It all seems perfectly clear now;
my stomach has Alzheimer's.

By criss-cross catalysis,
Pillaged from memory—from pill.
Paralysis of analysis:
Stuck inside, and outside still.
Eyes locked,
No sign,
Neck straight, head cocked,
Eye-socket lined,
Long curved spine.
Focus inside outer locus,
A junk of mental hocus-pocus.
Bogus begs the beggar be,
Rather than fathomed,
Of withered crocus.
Lillith spillith an eider-dew;
Upon the eider-down.
Willith he then simmer, stew,
A ‘neath the Summer New?
Winter fell, and song-man cryeth,
To’ve been and not much else.
Itching on an itch till nigh death!
Approaches oceans inside of shells.
Echo yonder Spring in light,
And sight might be delight.
While still the tactile tends too trite,
Yet flickered, ever glowing bright.
Eyes ‘hind,
Blind mind,
Find neither sign,
Nor time,
By petty dime.
Found ground,
Deep down,
6, puddled clown,
Without beast at behest.
By liver drowned to dialysis,
Watered words upon the sea,
Crissing-crossed heaves—phthisis,
Waits for numbed catastrophe.

Give up the ghost, my love, my life—
And return my kiss into light.
Breathed of you, I’ll exhale back—
Clasp the chivalry of lack.
My life, my love, for you was an endless need
For you on my heart to always feed.
Your wings still flit in my chest—
When I sleep I cannot rest.
By night is when I heard your gift's choir
That bled away the ragged hours.
Something took you and pillaged my home—
I’m hung back by my shadow alone.

At the bed of our mother
We raised dependence
While charging opposition
With the message of repentance
Gave names to savages
As we raped and pillaged land
Declaring enlightenment
While making derelicts understand
...god
It is bricks that make walls
Yet we erected steel beams
Nothing in between
So that the fall would be quick and clean
No one rises again
The fall is a permanent dead
No amount of cleaning
Can erase what's been bled
..dry
All evils exposed
Lying, broken, without a hope
There is no getting up
No elusive rope
For the FALLEN

Freedom;
I can wear what I want,
nothing to overcome;
There are places that haunt
overrun with pond scum;
Cover
only when I want to;
Others drown and smother;
Breathe? Something she can’t do;
Back off. She’s my sister;
Every
female should be outraged;
For all of her bravery
she was raped and pillaged;
Branded with memory;
Woman,
beside you I will stand;
We’ll formulate a plan
til’ these men understand
that we too are human.

My love is like water raped, pillaged, oftentimes abused for being strange
It's steamed with fire, absorbed by earth, consumed in air, churns its own range
But it's given back by all of them for something they need exchanged
For it extinguishes, it shapes, it envelops, it amalgamates leaving nothing deranged
