Premium Member Walking Personally With Jesus

What an awesome thing it truly is
to personally know God in His blessed Son
The Holy Spirit has revealed Jesus to me
this isn't a general thing that God's done

For it's so personal Jesus knows my name
from the beginning of creation, this is so
eternally past and forever, Jesus knows me
every day, he sees me, and every step, He knows

In prayer on my knees, I speak to my saviour
each day being shown my way to take
not only that, but also I can hear His voice
speaking tenderly by His word for my sake

The Holy Scriptures are God's personal revelation
in His sacred book, He reveals all I need to know
this divine sword is mine for protection
against all my enemies, I can defeat every foe

This is a wonderful privilege and honour
to know the Lord Jesus as my friend
the one who is my King, Lord and Saviour
who has promised to be with me to the end

(My personal thoughts on my Christian walk.)

What people say, what people do..
Is born from them, not born from you.
Their words reflect their inner skies..
Their thoughts, their fears, their hidden lies.

The world they see is theirs alone..
A mirror carved from flesh and bone.
When you take things to heart, you’ll find..
You let them rule your peace of mind.

But if you choose to stand apart..
You guard your soul, protect your heart.
For power lives in how you see..
Your thoughts, your truth, your dignity.

Let others walk their path, their way..
Their storms are not your skies of grey.
What’s real for them is not for you..
Just be yourself.. sincere and true.

So breathe, step back, let judgments fall..
They never really knew you at all.
The strength is yours, the choice is free..
Don’t take it on.. just let it be.

Plays their parts everyway,
Pretends in what they say,

Don't Take Slander Personally 2

"Woven are these pages in poetic verse,
With bare threads of our deepest feelings,
You will find laughter, tears and remorse,
and words of wisdom, prayer and healings."

Slander blossoms, having no real root;
critics water down truth with vexation.
Taking issue with points that are moot
they harvest lies and fabrication.

Words poetic strung herein, writers weave
musings borne on inspiration profound.
Stanzas sewn, grief and joys cleave;
Succor, pleas, and vision here abound.

Here I am looking back on life's events
adopted at 6 weeks, stammer with me
but loved by my new parents this is so
I think back often on if I had been free

Cause having a stammer you're never free
the tongue has got you in its grip
all of my school days were never happy
living in the country so quiet a lovely trip

Many years later in my late 20s met Christ
He showed His love for me He did die
in my place on Calvary's tree shed His blood
bringing salvation home to me I did fly

Having adopted me as His brother
Jesus was now my co-heir no less
how blessed and privileged I truly am
If God hadn't found me, I would be a mess

Everything happens for a reason
God's wisdom gave me Mum and Dad
then awoke my spirit for His to come in
now look back see His hand for I am Glad

Personally

Where are you, personal? Where have you gone?,
What stopped you from singing your beautiful song?,
Don't you know, you play the part,
Can't you conceive how you can touch another's heart?,
What fear of boundaries sets you aside?,
The chains that bind the perception of your eyes,
Oh dear heart, your value is priceless,
Your truths are precious, it connects us and binds us,
Fear of judgement, fear of labels, fear of pride,
Your heart remains humble even when you can share n not hide,

Don'T Take This Personally,

Don't take this personally
But you're really a mess
Your hair is way awful
And what horrible choice of dress
And I saw Sara Bess
Beat you at chess
Don't take this personally
But you're really a mess

No offense, buddy
But you're really annoying
Always complaining 'bout
Your workplace deploying
And never enjoying
Or simply employing
No offense, buddy
But you're really annoying

I don't mean this in the sense that you think
But don't you think you've stepped on the brink?
First you tripped at the roller rink
Then you ruined our great lip sync
You then wanted to go and get a mink
But it was pink
And after a while it started to stink
But after that you got hoodwinked
By that that weird ole' crazy wild skink
And now I've started to rethink
I don't mean this in the sense you think
But don't you think you've stepped on the brink?

Don'T Take It Personally

If I don't respond to things you write
Nor comment here, take no fright!
Nothings wrong just busy you see
Love the Soup, Need time for me!
CHEERS!

I am nette
Daughter of God, from earth –-- Amy and John’s middle child
Loving a medley of art, call of pure wild, the elixir from teaching;
Who feels the need to be zen-whole, curious, to hold a stardust just once
Afraid of heights, loss of loved ones and yes, drowning...
I’d like to see the cease of poverty , dance of Brazil, flowers in Mars,
Resident of Asiana; 7,000 blue islands teeming

Don't Take Slander Personally 1

Slander blossoms without root
harvest of lies and fabrication.
Rumor yields a blemished fruit.

Scandal flourishes while enroute
to whispered, planted augmentation.
Slander blossoms without root.

Taking issue with points so moot
watering truth with orchestration,
rumor yields a blemished fruit.

Fiendish minions supply the loot
while critics pick their confrontation -
slander blossoms without root.

Humor can serve to feed the brute,
fertilizing altercation;
rumor yields a blemished fruit.

To dig and delve in disrepute
soon serves its own incrimination.
Slander blossoms without root;
rumor yields a blemished fruit.

I Personally Know a Monster

*Please note: This poem was written for MY brother this Christmas. He is twelve w/braces.
He annoys me twenty-four seven!
And sometimes I can’t even sleep!
Especially when he snores and claims
in the morning that he didn’t make a peep!

He is filthy, disgusting, and appalling!
Picking food out of his mouth after meals!
Often I think he is crazy!
I mean c’mon... he doesn’t even walk on his heels!

But no matter how strange he is,
Nasty and smelling like scat,
I've got to put up with his vexation
because he’s my brother and I kinda have to love him for that.
