The summer heat was turned up to blasting with a huge yellow sun looking down. Our sweat had sweat. If only there was a breeze to pass over us. In the mouth of desire sits July. A young couple is about to be wed. The groom all decked out in his black suit. The bride in her long wedding dress and veil. Family and friends gather to watch this union take place. They hang on every word as the vows are being said. Then the happy couple are pronounced husband and wife. In the mouth of desire a big kiss gets planted. Pictures are take, then off to the dinner.
Now we are married

Every encounter was decided by fate
Every day we meet different people
And encounter different fate
Someone may leave a mark in our life
Even all you got is just a vague silhouette
Someone is destined to pass over us
So fast that we can't meet each other
Even we meet there's no time to know each other
Even we know each other
We still have to say goodbye
Not even encounter is a long-waited reunion
But if you value it, every long-awaited reunion
Is the first encounter that you cannot forget
In your entire perspective of what life is all about.

I …
am provenience …
the heel of my father’s foot -
the damp of his brow
and his burgeon …
I am my mother’s bloom
sown in the soil of her intentions
seeded with wonder
and promise …
but some petals unfurl only in
the dead of night -
haunted gardens tended by
half-wished ghosts
phantoms …
frozen to their duties by the
mists of recollection -
icy arbors of regret and time, passing …
if I could but daub that lintel
with my blood -
force the reaper’s honed, desultory edge to
pass over those most dear
but …
too many I’ve walked homeward, in hand
too well he’s learned my face
too deep and numbered I’ve plunged
that oily, arrogant eye
and far too many times I’ve cursed
that endlessly esurient appetite …
I’ll find no pity, those deep pockets, his
nor a nip of banal bearing
it’s too late for tears -
the winds, far too wet for weeping
but I know him too
and he shan’t catch me dawdling
no - he’ll have to swing wide for this vine
else I greet him running and
wrap him snug -
strangling, like kudzu on catalpa …
for my roots reach deep
and are family-firm,
tended …
with love.

Look at sky above you and tell me what you see
Listen to the sounds around you and carved out
The giant wave that is beating on heightened rocks
And scrolling around the sea with open guts
The clouds are getting dark and the eagle is
Having an altercation with the lark and destiny
Is crawling on its knees in the dark
Look at the shadows in front of you, the thirsty
Desert is mourning for you, the journey is long
But courage will push you along so keep pressing on
The shapeless day keep slipping away and
The morning and the evening embodied in one
And my heart is singing a courageous song
A Force is coming towards thee with magnitude
And power, to break the hearts of steel and
Push you around in the ferries wheel
Look across the sea and tell me what you see
The sparrow on the line with its bulging eyes
Has set out a pattern for you to move
Walk straight then pivot when you confront the dark
The sun has gone down and
And destiny is about to hit the ground
Strap yourself to the tree and the
Shadows will pass over thee.

If personal wars are normal
then their nature despising humanity are even the
quack and qualm of the matter.
Whenever the sun rattles the moon sooner or later
may follow the suit- Not even a political campaign
is left to pass over unnoticed?.

Sometimes, when heavenly bodies align
A celestial phenomena is spun
Some say it's a sign
When we have this total eclipse of the sun
The path of the eclipse will pass over places called Nineveh
Which in the bible, was a wicked city
Where the prophet Jonah went
and the people of Nineveh did repent
Our brightest star
will be eclipsed, casting dark shadows on the Earth soon
in a cosmic event from afar
As the sun is obscured by the moon
But is it merely a cosmic event
Or a sign that we should repent!

Shut Up!
Shut up the hurricane shutters!
There's a storm that is ready to blow.
Batten down all the hatches!
Mother nature is angry, don't you know?
There's a man on the watch tower
and he's signalling to the boats in the harbor.
There are squalls on the horizon,
and he doesn't want you to go.
Keep your prayers close beside you.
Keep your loved ones by your side.
Settle all scores that divide you.
Pray for forgiveness, and for strength to abide.
Paint the front doors that judgement pass over.
Burn the candles that welcomes the Prince of Peace.
You can see the four horsemen come riding.
There is no shelter from His wrath to hide.
The mockers will taunt you,
as Noah had to endure.
Your obedience is your love,
and in faith, your salvation is assured.
When finally the seas die back.
And the armies of evil are drowned in the murk,
A ray of light like a dove will descend on you,
and everlasting paradise will be secured.

Is there room
in your ignorance
for truth to creep in
Are the doors
closed and locked
from inside and within
Will the light
truly gifted
pass over and by
Is your meadow
a wasteland
—and haven for lies

Starry night, my little window into the sky.
Mine view into the universes time.
Fall down to hills on yonder horizon night.
Flickered lights see villages sleeping so peacefully tonight.
Clouds pass over but don’t dim the vastness of the sky.
Cool breeze makes it all feel so alive.
Starry night, my window view into the sky.
Peace found in the tranquil beauty of the night.
Stars flicker over as the world turns under in space tonight.
Deep view, deep peace, deep dark magic of my own starry night.

Stubbs Park is decorously rampant,
its paths scamper here and there
like unruly children.
The original landscapers ran riot,
for they planted arching spans
between and over
many of its grassy hillocks,
its trickling brooks.
If you are in meditative mood,
these diminutive bridges
can lead you away and home again
in the compact unwinding
of a few gardened acres.
Catwalks may connect you
to gaps in your life
ones yet uncrossed for want of a bridge’
They can lead you astray also
until you figure out the right questions
to ask of yourself.
Perhaps more to the point
folks can leisurely pass over
some idle hours
between breakfast and lunch.
On a summer evening
your long shadow
can walk over the park
in a few strides.
You may recall then that all your steps
have been
bridges over time,
a landscaping of a life -
and just a walk in the park.

Breaking the seal,
MELANCHOLY pushed through.
She fell into a wide chasm,
Too wide that none could reach across.
The more she tried to get out,
The deeper she got plunged into the abyss.
Felt she was fated to perish,
Struck on its jagged edges!
Her WISTFUL longings, gone awry.
She sees her fate GRIM.
In the SHROUD of DEPRESSION,
As she wraps herself,
What she sees before is a GLOOMY future,
And she stays so WITHDRAWN from the physical world.
In the pit of agony, as she lies,
Bewildered and blinking,
Wondering when her end would be,
FEELINGS of dread, haunt her.
Now a fervent prayer rises upwards,
From her smouldering heart.
‘Pass over me a breath of wind,
To cool off the steam building inside’!

A lazy Sunday afternoon
Just watching the clouds go by,
If I was a cloud I'd pass over your house
And write your name up there in the sky
In cottony letters, soft, fluffy, and white,
Then a lining of red in the blue
Would outline your name 'til a heart shape did form
From the red of my heartbeat for you

"Fear ye not me? Saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?"
~Jeremiah 5:22 (THE HOLY BIBLE -KJV)
Sea waves froth & foam, seemingly uncontrolled
But sand bounds the ocean with its hold
Huge, mighty waves crash and creep
Hushing crushing sweep
Toss and roar
Deep
Vast seashore
O'er which cannot leap
Cannot prevail o'er sand heap
Watch them wage a war, action unfold
Sea waves froth & foam, seemingly uncontrolled

First Day of Spring
Meadow
larks mesmerize
these longer days, as those
hibernates wake to furry hops
near verdancy, neath warmth of rays or rains,
newness absorbs a pass-over,
facing nature's depth midst
flower-patterned
meadow.

Clouds in the sky reveal their intention
Their color is always a dead giveaway,
There is no known effective intervention.
You know what’s coming if they are gray,
Gathered in a group for a sky convention.
If they are white and fluffy like cotton
We do not give them a second thought
They’ll soon pass over, entirely forgotten
If a pleasant east wind they have caught
I’ve thought, for a cloud, this is so rotten.
