The Deep Vs Shore

"Fear ye not me? Saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?" ~Jeremiah 5:22 (THE HOLY BIBLE -KJV)
Sea waves froth & foam, seemingly uncontrolled But sand bounds the ocean with its hold Huge, mighty waves crash and creep Hushing crushing sweep Toss and roar Deep Vast seashore O'er which cannot leap Cannot prevail o'er sand heap Watch them wage a war, action unfold Sea waves froth & foam, seemingly uncontrolled

Reads like a good contender to me for the the contest. Way to go. It is amazing the way God has worked everything out, but God wants to mess it all up. Thanks for sharing this one and for dropping by my page. Sara

I don't know this typical form. But I feel that this is a great entry. I must see if I can write one. The might of the ocean and the strength of the sand both waging eternal war, never being the winner or loser. Well done Jo
