Listen to poem:
The bridge is covered, has no light
all who pass over are shaded
eclipsed by day, in dead of night
unseemly notice evaded
by keeping all's well, out of sight....

Not Pass Over
Not Pass Over

Over me God will never pass or miss,
And are going to feel all of His bliss;
In woods meet;
Will not forget;
With His love replaces my loneliness.

Friday Is Cruel
fears and excuses
white deserts
new moon in
virgo
solar eclipse
thursday pass over
signs of earth
careful plotting
meticulous planning
shadow of the sun
dark mass of land
thin rings of white light
friday is cruel

Premium Member Old Friends
put down names and numbers
in my book
family, friends
and some

occasionally
when I go down the list
to phone them up
I pass over many
who have gone

only to remember them fondly--
say a prayer --
and slowly --
my heart moves on....

Dark Shadows
Is there room
in your ignorance
for truth to creep in

Are the doors
closed and locked
from inside and within

Will the light
truly gifted
pass over and by

Is your meadow
a wasteland
—and haven for lies

Days of Dragons and Angels
I’ve seen a hundred thousand dreams
Pass over into childhood
With hopes and visions that I’ve held
But never understood

I’ve watched my youthful fantasies
And days of flying dragons
Fall fast asleep while in the night
Angels came to say goodnight...

Ballad of war
If personal wars are normal
then their nature despising humanity are even the
quack and qualm of the matter.
Whenever the sun rattles the moon sooner or later
may follow the suit- Not even a political campaign
is left to pass over unnoticed?....

Silence
Say nothing – let the silence last.
Yes, you taught me to keep silent.
You said: ‘It’s good’ and I took it on trust
And I try to celebrate the moment.

I send another letter to you,
But you pass over it in silence.
There is no talk between us – no argue -
You keep me in the silent suspense....

Open Roads
open roads
Where broken paths seemed closed
Open roads spring anew

Crystal castles vibrate
World as stage
Within the hero’s rage

Anvils sparks engaged
Where steel is forged
Within the alchemy of
Burning flames

Tormented on threads
Of severed chords
Circles pass over
The changeless change...

Premium Member It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a Cloud
A lazy Sunday afternoon
Just watching the clouds go by,
If I was a cloud I'd pass over your house
And write your name up there in the sky
In cottony letters, soft, fluffy, and white,
Then a lining of red in the blue
Would outline your name 'til a heart shape did form
From the red of my heartbeat for you...

Anger
The relentless feeling of anger over whelms us,
From the depths of emotion comes the monster that we fear,
The darkness pass over like a bad dream come to life,
Shall we run from the evil with in,
As we fight the losing battle,
Fear the darkness,
Fear the unknown,
Where shall we go,
When fear comes,
For us....

No One Lives Forever
I will never live forever
I don’t even want to try
Tomorrow might be just another day
Or today the day I die

I will live as long as
I am remembered
But only for a while
Mourners do also pass over
To the other side

I will live for now
Hoping I will get another day
All I ask for
Is the chance
To say I’m sorry
And bid a fond farewell...

Thai Reflections
The green tea in its blue and white
porcelain tea cup is full of sunlight.

The dark eyed fortune teller’s
delicate hands
pass over the small cup -
swans skimming low
above a green pond.

 “She will love you forever”
she says,
one pearlescent nail
tracing my life in the tea leaves.

Then:
“but you will never meet her.”...

The Unsung Song
I have a song in my heart,
that has yet to be given notes.
Notes that should kiss piano keys,
and give wings to grace.
Commit wind to pass over
tender chords, and reveal
her beauty to the world.
She inspires tones that
whisper in my mind.
She alone can sing them.
Only her voice will do.

Out of the House of Bondage
wandering in the wilderness
unleavened bread in a haste
blood of slaughtered lamb on
the windows they will pass over
magic rituals demons fight
black leather boxes ,scrolls of par
chments, knotted fringes on the corn-
ers of garments ,redemption of first born
few silver coins ,out of the house
of bondage she cried on my shoulders...

Dark Lover
Don't be bitter baby
You're the one I love
And I know how to sweeten you up

I swim into you
My dreamy brown
Steamy queen

Pass over my lips
Your tasty effusions on my tongue
Are intoxicating

When you go down
The warmth spreads through me
And you set my heart to racing

Too bad that's the reason why
My doctor says I have
To switch to dull, lifeless decaf...

Vessel
I'm standing on my ship, embracing
all the waves that break unto my vessel

I looked upon your face, in rapture
and I felt....mmmmm

I live amongst the clouds
and I watch as we pass over my temple

a particle of one, you and I
shall we seek the answer to this riddle?

I'm standing on my ship
my goddess is my ship

this is a song

First Day of Spring Meadow larks mesmerize these longer days, as those hibernates wake to furry hops near verdancy, neath warmth of rays or rains, newness absorbs a pass-over, facing nature's depth midst flower-patterned meadow.

Nighttime On My Balcony
Child of the night
Eyes open ready to pounce.
I feel weightless, buoy like, rocking gently with the waves.

As the stars shine down on me and the moon smiles and glows, the man
waves hello, then goodbye.

The clouds pass over and form a giant flying saucer then dissipate into a thin
line of cotton.

I reach up and trace the Big Dipper with my finger, look around, take a breath
and step inside....

Premium Member A Sweet Song
A sweet song sent to me online,
Let me dream on the singer’s mind:
Her eyes might drift in the melody,
Her fingers waved rhythmically.

The song came from her heart
Or it’s just a prank of her fine art,
To fool and trap my erratic ears;
Her freaky voice makes me fear.

The sweet song may be cheated,
But boosted me to be on my feet
To pass over the daily difficulties;
The seldom song awakens me....

Pain
Author Dana Redricks
May 27, 2019

Some people are not
happy unless you are
miserable too
Nothing you do is never
good enough, they nag
They complain
The rage comes on
like a hurricane
My heart hurt so bad
all I want to is lay in the
bed all day
The shadow of death
often pass over my head
I strive to fight another day
It is only God who hold me
to together on this slippery
slop called life...
