SHEER BEDLAM

LIFE ESCAPES THROUGH MY HANDS LIKE FINE SAND BETWEEN MY FINGERS
TIME DISINTEGRATES IN FRONT OF MY EYES WITH NO WAY OF SLOWING DOWN.

THE INEVITABLE CREEPS AROUND THE DARK CORNERS AND LURKS IN THE SHADOWS, WISPERING IN MY EARS, DESPERATE TO POUNCE ON ME THE MOMENT I AM VULNERABLE AND EXPOSED TO ITS ELEMENTS.

FEAR OF ABANDONMENT LAUGH AT ME.

CHRONIC FEELINGS OF EMPTINESS PARALYZE ME AND ROB ME OF MY SLEEP AND PEACE.

I SCREAM IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE AND KNOW ONE HEARS ME, AND I CRY AND LET MY TEARS DO ALL THE TALKING WITHOUT SAYING A WORD.

A REPRIEVE FROM MY GOD IS THE ONLY THING I LOOK FORWARD TO, AND FORGIVENESS FOR MY DEEDS AND SINS THAT TORTURE MY SOUL....

I see the terror in their eyes…
of those who seek to paralyze
their lives screaming persistent cries
of sorrow and grief that belies
the turmoil and angst of disguise.

I see hunger, the ache within…
of those whose vain lot is cast in
hardened iron cuffs locked fast in
glum humanity's calloused skin
oblivious to kith and kin.

I see conflict and all-out war
amidst communities that are
in stiff battle for cross or bar
or power or god or dog star,
perplexed by illusive devoir.

I see a world where I will be
forever in a swirling sea
of hope and an unanswered plea
to God who is said to shield me
from all the horror I now see.

I only hope when I am born
I can survive the world, war-torn,
praying peace from the crown of thorn
begging any who with me join
to comfort others, yet unborn.

Echoes Within!

"Silence is the virtue of wise,
The words within you won't let you rise
Emotions are worthless to analyze
Pour it all down there, so as to paralyze"
Said they, in order to tantalize
But the voice within me, keeps mocking & knocking,
Interrogating me within the bars of strokes, continuously clocking
Commanding me to ruminate all around, all the while
Be it Catastrophic inside, but on the surface ought not to deny a smile

What is silence without words averting verity?
What is reticence without thoughts fighting for clarity?
The wordless world might sound great
As if a blind date
Upholding the so called threat
Still wanna debate? No other option rather than to wait!

The words wrestling inside will create a mystery
For which you'll yearn and discern
That grasping voice you dislike will be void someday
For which you'll crave and burn
That idiotic laugh making no sense is on it's way to halt
But, you'll be on the way to find miles to return
You'll be on the way to take a U-turn
But,
Ohh dear dearest!
It soon will be too late to learn
It's no longer an issue to concern
Cause, the disturbing is on it's way to Saturn!

The Feast

## The Feast

They gather in the shadowed corners of my mind,
A ravenous horde, their forms undefined.
Not flesh and bone, but whispers sharp and cold,
They gnaw at peace, and stories left untold.

Doubt, the gaunt hound, with eyes that never blink,
He sniffs at joy, and leaves a bitter stink.
Anxiety, the spider, spins her silken snare,
Trapping my breath, and tangling in my hair.

Despair, the serpent, coils around my heart,
Squeezing the hope, tearing my world apart.
He hisses low, of worthlessness and pain,
A constant echo in the pouring rain.

They feast on dreams, and visions bright and bold,
Leaving behind a wasteland, barren, cold.
They steal my voice, and paralyze my hand,
Leaving me lost within this desolate land.

But even in the darkness, a flicker starts to grow,
A tiny ember, refusing to let go.
It’s the will to fight, the strength to rise and stand,
To reclaim my mind, to take back my own land.

For though they feast, they cannot truly win,
The human spirit burns, a fire from within.
And one day soon, I’ll banish them from sight,
And bathe my soul in healing, golden light.

Forbidden Love

Bit by bit you built this in your head.
Take me where the angels are and fix me piece by piece.
I want to feel my stars align again.
Baby you can call the bluff, I'll play the cards.

Take everything i know you'll break
You made those promises, don't take em back now.
Own up to your bull, it's about that time.
Break my bones, just leave my spirit alone.

I guess you're really just a demon.
You just want to do the reverse exorcism.
You're just trying to give me the mark.
Call me crazy.

Trust isn't real.
Forgiveness isn't real.
Nothing is real.
You aren't real.

Who would've thought love could paralyze.
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams.
Star crossed lovers.
Literally beauty and the beast.

Even through the torture, it's the longest goodbye.
We belong together in the flames.
Not a trace left to be found.
We can't go back though you're waiting.

Premium MemberI Am Fear

I'm what fuels anxiety's climb,
stocking silence, shrouded in shadow.
Around since the primordial slime:
the more you feed me, the more I grow
morphing into terror, over time.

I'm what makes you shiver in the dark:
no persona is darker than mine.
I'm the stare, in the eyes of a shark,
that icy chill that runs up your spine:
whenever I'm in charge, life seems stark.

I'm the phantom lurking in the night;
who razes the short hairs on your neck.
I can paralyze with crippling fright;
and make people pause, and double-check,
fueling feelings of fight or flight.

I am a sound that summons a tear:
the creaking footsteps walking up stairs.
And panic occurs when I appear,
for I am the boogie man, who scares
people of all ages: I am Fear.

Midnight Glow

They have no roots to anchor them;
Forsaken guides that steady them.
They toss and toil, burn midnight oil,
and hide the spurs that anger them.

What cast spell did paralyze?
Electric glow in fearful eyes,
From dusk to dawn, they linger on,
From standing faith to bed of lies.

Oh glory lost! How far we've strayed,
From paths of light to twilight's fade.
We've wandered blind, with sullen mind,
In weary souls' nocturnal shade.

Hark! River calls, to all who sleep,
Come plant your roots in waters deep.
There is no toil, in fertile soil,
And trust the Lord your soul to keep.

The prettiest thing I’ve seen today
Is often there a rare display
The shinning star in her constellation
That moves about insighting sensation
Like music to the ears
A treasure to the eyes
What the tongue calls sweet
A smile labeled compleat
Desire driven by the shape of the eyes
The hour glass figure is no surprise
Cheeks with dimples that paralyze
Hair tamed by curls supplied
The length of which says satisfied
How precious this feeling of being hugged
With eyes embracing the pinnacle of love
The momentary destination
Of heaven from above
The meaning of pleasure
Satisfaction without measure

Man

Light shines upon his face, the warmth embraces him.
Reflections of the past flash upon his eyes, all the good with the bad.
Flickers of the future he desires flitter in and out of view.
Paths stretch out, endless roads to travel.
The wind bites his face as he looks upon the journey ahead.
He knows no obstacle can stop him, unless he allows it.
Choice has been made, destination selected.
Forward.
The only way to go, up, forge ahead, don't look back.
Hands of memories grip his arms, trying to hold him in place.
Insecurities grab upon his legs, trying to root him down.
Why's and hows wrap around his torso, as to paralyze him.
One foot in front of the other. Look up to the sky. He is with you.
Overcome the challenge, move with reason. Move with purpose.
Carry the flame, find salvation.
Break the chains placed upon you, by you.
You are loved. You are strong. You are enough.

Gray November

November gray, predator's prey
Spark of the day stretched away
The month of gloom
For so long....don't stay!
Though time would fly
Yet it's preferential
Cause August slipped away
And September as well
And so has gone the month of fall
But November isn't gonna be so small
Open to debate? Just wait and see y'all
Time would paralyze me
With no other option rather than to recall
Those words serpent and epoch of reticence
penetrated by reminiscence
avert glancing at that glance
exposing mirages of happiness to stay
As it was running away
Cause here it is....
November gray, predator's prey
The month of gloom
For so long....Don't Stay
Yet, futile all the prayers are
The month of gloom
Will Stay
Will Stay
Will Stay

Fear and Doubt Let Go of Me

Fear and doubt, let go of me,
I'm ready to set myself free.
I've held on to you for too long,
But now I see, you're doing me wrong.

You whisper in my ear,
Telling me I'm not good enough,
You paralyze my fear,
And keep me stuck in the same old rut.

But I'm tired of being held back,
I'm ready to spread my wings and fly.
I'm ready to take a leap of faith,
And see what life has in store for me.

So fear and doubt, I bid you adieu,
I'm done with your toxic games.
I'm stepping into the unknown,
With courage and determination.

I know it won't be easy,
But I'm ready for the challenge.
I'm ready to live my life to the fullest,
And achieve my wildest dreams.

So fear and doubt, let go of me,
I'm ready to set myself free.

Congressional Animosity
Miracle Man
10/17/2023

The thought of compromise
causes many to vent.
Their polling approval today
is at nineteen percent.
They paralyze the country
displaying no shame.
Huge ego’s and power
becomes their path to fame.
From jealousy or competing
feelings are bruised.
Not getting the plum jobs
causes some to feel used.
In every conversation,
“it’s for the American people”.
But what they honestly think
is that we’re mere Sheeple.
 Some seem willing
to see government shut down.
As long as it don’t effect
their night on the town.
It appears that animosity
is ruling the house today.
if the Government shuts down
Stop congressional pay!

Memory

Hanging Queen.
The killer Queen's serpentine glean
Like a field of sunflowers:
Smell of gunpowder filled with gelatine.

Medicine and melancholy, wound-filled barley.
Bloodbound fairground, glassware drowned.
Lovely scent oils, from mouth of poison gas,
Rise brightly, scream, and vaporize.

Advise, lullabies that paralyze, frozen in time.
Drinks with lime, sip of crime, all despise.
Lip rose-red, of blood meadows, red skies.
Tonight snows, clearing for the hanging full of flies.

Skies of lies, laughs to cries—
The uprising, the ending of terror.
Bring the Queen into her own clearing,
Into the passing.

Premium MemberJellyfish

Creations of the almighty are inexplicable,
The Bee Hummingbird to the blue whale or the elephant,
Each creature has a unique form and shape; admissible!
Whether they're the same in stamina is irrelevant...!

Umbrellas-like in multicolor; no handle to hold,
Jellies of strings and ribbons interior-decorate;
Though flexible as though frail creatures, they are truly bold,
Water-color-like, they camouflage and consume the bait...!

Their swimming is like ballet dance in colored costumes,
With poisonous spray how ghastly they paralyze their prey!
Midst sea horses and other animals are their great glooms,
Mystically and miraculously they thrive each day...!

Like lonely stars of the sky are jellyfish in the sea,
Midst changing and churning waters, they are merrily free...!!!

A spider carefully plans and schemes
the pattern for its life and quest.
It spends its hours weaving dreams
until it creates its sticky best.

Its web is tatted small and refined
or brocaded in heavy tapestry.
Soon prey finds itself entwined,
entombed within this basketry.

The spider calmly enswathes it,
a gesture quick yet fatal.
To paralyze this tasty tidbit,
its single bite is detrimental.

To live, to spin, to weave, to eat,
is spider’s deadly task’s cycle.
Web mastery, a cunning feat,
ensures the spider’s survival.
