Autumn is one of the best seasons
Simply for a few very different reasons,

The weather permits for all outdoors social events
Relief from the temperature of the suns torments,

Enjoy lunch or dinner out on a restaurants patio
Cool nights to enjoy walks for last round of cardio,

Walk your furry companion without heat stroke worry
You can enjoy outings without

Outdoor life is fun
Meeting old friends at fireplace
Free from disturbance.

Outdoor Classroom

Jump, thump, six graders jump
from stone to pebbly stone.
Chirp chirp the robin flies
Across the sky alone.
Crunch chunch the graveled feet,
Sh. . . shoo, a breathy whisper,
Hard, cold bench for a seat,
Rough wood, perhaps a splinter.
Puh, puh, puh, a boy spitting,
Mosquito slap
A girl is hitting.
Scarlet leaves on willowly stem
Dance in the crisp fall air.

The Outdoor Art Fair

The outdoor art fair’s housed in tents
Where photographs and oils
And watercolors wait for sales
So artists earn their spoils.

At first, the sun was out though the
Humidity was high,
As would-be customers and neighbors
Leisurely strolled by.

Admiring the art, we also
Found some artists who
Enjoyed discussing how they started
Doing what they do.

We didn’t make a purchase but
The art work did

We’re in a “new” trendy neighborhood called Cascade Heights, in Atlanta. It’s lush - hydrangea, musk rose, hoya and blue false indigo are in bloom and there are greens of every possible variation.

My Outdoor Garden

Mind-boggling bowing of the trees' stretching
Vast beds of blossoms are overseen in adjoining
Beds that were displayed in a solitary tone sparkled
It was also defined where each should be developed

Though the rustic garden is splendid to the sight
One cannot challenge such a wonderful delight
Each fashioned shadiness to convey a purpose

Turn the ringer off,
indulge in a morning walk;

I ate in an outdoor shed today;

Construction sounds, like drills and booms
Or buses spewing noxious fumes

The clouds overhead looks dark like rain,

The snow-covered glisten in the sun
The ducks quacking to the other ducks it is time to go south
Father and sons are going camping together, it is going to snow

I sprawl and roll neath sunny skies of blue
with butterflies
my new fun
outdoor 
toy
and
see how
they flutter
above my paws
to touch and tease me while I pat their wings.
