Orlando has written a lot of love poetry.
Written on leaflets, they have been placed on every tree.
Ubiquitous in the Arden woods, they are easy to see.
Orlando expresses his love for Rosalind freely.
His wording is not good, and his rhymes are lousy.
Rosalind now roams these woods, but is not alone.
Joining her are cousin Alena and the fool named Touchstone.
However, Rosalind's identity you will not recognize.
She is now called Ganymede, and is a man in disguise.
Since you defeated Charles the wrestler, she's been in love with you.
A reuniting with Rosalind is just about due.
Based on the play "As You Like It" by William Shakespeare
Tell me, my friend
Did it bother you when I cried?
When I cried about the risen surface of the end?
The end of which has already granted us those who died
Those who have died from holding hands with who they choose
And those who tasted lips and an alcoholic drink
Those who had everything to lose
Those who didn’t know what to think
When it happened.
.
Tell me, my friend
Did you pray for my family from the beginning?
Or did you pray for that kind of end
While you lied through your teeth without grinning?
You see, we are more than just a community
We are more than just a band of friends
We are more than your self pity
We are more than a hashtag trend
As we lost fifty in Orlando
You suddenly began to feel upset
While we are still standing strong though
And most of you begin to feel regret
Regret from calling that kid ***
Or yelling the word dyke
Not that I like to see your smile start to sag
But you begin to understand what it is like
Though, you will never know how it feels
How it feels to be murdered by your pitiful words and guns
Yet, we have a heart of steel
And the love we have will always run.
Orlando and Sandy Hook
Advantage of always take advantage of
To do is what a bunch of people love
And of course we have heard as of late
Congress finds ways for funds to misappropriate.
Several of their feelings recently were fixed
All four gun control measures now are nixed
And instead of into the past each one fade
Republicans want to come to everyone's aid.
Instead of some having to end their career
Trying to make gun control bill be their idear
And all of the credit eventually want to get
Makes them feel good lets go ahead and let.
See my friend how easy it was to do
Democrats had bright idea out of the blue
Up whole congress finally became shook
By filibuster about Orlando and Sandy Hook.

THE PALPITATION OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA (USA)
Decimation on its face through mass execution and hate.
Just another night out painting the town.
No reason to perceive the unsound.
Out of the blue moon a gargantuan came into form.
In denial of himself, “Oscar” he could be called.
His name broadcasted is Omar.
He was seeking an award for what he stood for.
Over a selected lot he stood to devastate.
Ruminating a scene of terror and anxiety to the undue fatalities, methodical carnage and mayhem savagely assaulted every tenth woman or man he encroached upon.
The pulse of the environment did not reply.
They only wanted to save each other lives.
The demographics profligately made a holocaust halo sage as German’s did Jews in their heyday.
A popular gay spot was viciously attacked.
Orlando, Florida (USA) massacre is the deadliest yet.
We light a candle for the victims of Orlando terrorist attack that were massively executed - slaughtered by the confused.
Vigil saliently given.
The palpitation of Orlando, Florida is now in a nation’s memory.

Written June 16, 2016!
Hawk eyed bullet, lamb blood spilling
garments of our fractured youth
nothing remains virgin or sacred
rosaries retreat to martyr tombs.
Windfall for green tied politicians
a spray of rainbows cracks the air
the nest of innocents forever disfigured
broken doves in dank despair.
Savior and leper nibbling insanity
sharing clouds of time and tears
passing bottles of rye necessity
oozing crosses and wooden skin.
The florist clips scores of blossoms
candle maker dipping double time
we the mourners, man the light
night pulsing- weeping fireflies.
Orlando
I reach for hands
no longer there
wince in the wind
of hates stench
grit my teeth
to suppress rage
lock my eyes
damning my tears
That ache….
that empty ache…
of needless loss
sad sting
of violent lash
upon the hearts
of all
wielded by an evil
fearful of the power
of love’s
gentleness

Rainbow flags and Pride
are slim protection against
hate and machine guns.
[May the deceased rest in peace and the injured and bereaved have swift recoveries. This hatred must be better combated, or be better managed by those supposed to be protecting us. This could have happened to anyone. Groups that influence losers in society should be better monitored, both here and abroad.]
Forcibly taken lives
for a vicious motive.
Shock, terror —blood and tears.
Rest the souls in peace,
pity those who had lost
and solace to alike around.
Fear not my brothers, sisters and friends;
stand up and fight for who you are—
until the Love win over Hatred.
From what I see on television
Darkness has descended on Orlando
Death cries filled the air
Sorrow became the order of the day
We don't yet know
If it was a "lone wolf "
or a terrorist plot
We must mourn
for the deaths of those who were
only thinking
of seeking some weekend enjoyment
Our land has once more felt the sting
of a murderer
Now - LET THE HEALING BEGIN
If I were rich I would live in Orlando,
Where the sun grooms the watered land,
Where busyness is quelled by knowing that,
You can always live in another city grand.
My Disney poems would be accepted,
As part of the scene, the whole shebang,
As I would hope to complement Mr Disney,
With poetry’s feeling shade on the hang.
I would have the carers that I wanted to,
Tall, handsome, smiley and relaxed at chat,
And maybe have two showers every day,
With only a t-shirts to choose and rat.
I might go swimming in the outside pool,
With a carer, not with a staunch physio,
And I could barbecue mushrooms forever,
With have a large car having Orlando radio.
I may, in the end, write a non-fiction book,
About the Disney films and their morality,
About what’s behind them and the values,
About their promotion of a healthy longevity.
Sea World, Universal Studios and NASA,
Are just on hand by your door step,
And as a hub and centre for internationals,
The diverse culture means no cooking prep.

This big and little city is so great.
It is situated near the middle of the state.
The city draws tourists and visitors in a plethora.
It has most of what can be found in Florida.
This place must be the product of a dream.
The “Magic” is the name of their basketball team.
The team plays a poised and formidable game.
Is it any wonder the team has that name?
All year long, the weather is usually fine.
Visitors can enjoy some warm sunshine.
Included is some clear and sparkling water.
Be sure to bring your spouse, son, and daughter.
There are hotels and restaurants galore.
Besides big theme parks, it has much more.
This is where the family has a good time.
In order to describe it all, need I rhyme?
This is a town many people would know.
For a great vacation, just get up and go.
The city is none other than Orlando.
Known as the sunshine state: Florida
a good summer place to stay.
Green and leafy trees accost me with delight
while I drive through the road and enjoy the sight.
Some attractions in the so-called Disney World,
a place frequented by many people,
provide relaxation, entertainment and information.
a lovely place, a different world.
Young and old across cultures
enjoy their visits with their loved ones.
Some shows, films and presentations
enthrall the audience with wonder.
Like a never ending journey,
each encounter possesses beauty.
How it's perceived and appreciated
depends on one's interest and needs.
Beautiful, oh Disney Land!
wish you're just close by,
A place so colorful to everyone
where families unite and unwind.
orlando
hot and tangy
full of adventure and thrill
shadows walking on buildings
mist from fountains
clinging to your face
new and exciting people
fun around every corner
